OK so the title isn't the best haha but didn't want to lose you all and the other thread is filling fast! Gonna flip between the two to tag everyone and make sure I get the usernames right.

@Hatepickinganame thanks for the tag!

30 weeks tomorrow and feeling massive! 6 weeks left of work I can't bloody wait to be off 😆

Hope everyone's keeping well x

@whatsthecraic91 youre welcome, just trying to find everyones usernames at the moment! I'm 33 weeks and absolutely giant. Currently playing music to the bottom of my bump with headphones as apparently it might encourage her to turn towards the noise.... she's kicking like crazy so I guess she likes it?!

Hi girls soz bern AWOL my new little person is keeping me busy!! I'll be back on in a week or two I'm just really struggling to read at the mo but got my next eye op Monday then need to get some reading glasses so I can read again!! I'll be back on then -hope you're all doing ok!

calimommy · 23/10/2020 22:15

Wow I'm jealous of all your babies arriving but I'm also pretty happy mine is tucked away, quiet, my nipples intact, for another few months 😂
DH and I are settled-ish on a name -I mostly just need to come to terms with it as I'm so surprised we might go for it given it's literally never been on my radar but DH is quite taken by it. I do like it haha I'm just surprised. I also have to go through all the boys clothes I have and decide what is neutral enough to keep. (Or what I love anyway and don't care if a girl wears 😂 -I'm not a particularly pink person anyway) we have donkeys if time though.

whatsthecraic91 · 23/10/2020 22:15

@Hatepickinganame oh that's a great idea! They say putting your head on the ground whilst on your knees and your bum in the air is a good position to turn them! My wee man was breech at a growth scan last week so if he still is at my 32 week one I'll be trying everything!

Hatepickinganame · 23/10/2020 22:16

@MummyBearBoo good to hear from you, look forward to a proper catch up in a week or so :)

Hopefully ive tagged everyone, please someone double check and add anyone I've missed!!

@whatsthecraic91 yeah I've been doing that too, its easier said than done though lol I really don't think she's going to move though. Resigning myself to spending some time in hospital prior to a section, everything I've read suggests that with her being transverse and polyhydramnios will mean hospital from 37 weeks till she's born but we'll see!

@calimommy we've been set on a name since about 22 weeks, we call her by it all the time so hope it suits her haha

Thanks for the tag. I need to check these boards daily with all the popping out we're doing 🤣

Another November group I'm in has had looaaaadddssss of babies through October, 99% of them home and fine ASAP.
38+1 today. So over it all, I want to breathe and bend and not take shots of gaviscon before bed 😂😂

Hatepickinganame · 23/10/2020 22:26

@DPSawMyUsername I've been prescribed something beginning with an o for my heartburn as it had got so bad, could be worth a call to your gp, I take one tablet in the morning and no heartburn all day. I was literally carrying gaviscon round in my handbag before lol!!

professorastrocat · 23/10/2020 22:42

Yay found you all!

I'm off to bed to start another long night of wake ups and feeds. I'm only up still as my 5 year old needed me ! Probably never going to sleep properly again....

professorastrocat · 23/10/2020 22:43

Could put a link on the old thread to this one @Hatepickinganame then if anyone is missed they can link across. sorry I'm too tired to check now.

Wise0wl · 23/10/2020 23:07

Hello all! Thanks for the tag and new thread @Hatepickinganame

36 weeks and feeling huge and tired but otherwise ok! I’m working til 39 weeks so banking on no early birth here! 😬

DPSawMyUsername · 24/10/2020 00:28

@Hatepickinganame I can't spell it but I know which one you mean haha. I'm at home 95% of the time (furlough) so I've not bothered with doctors, milk and Morrisons own medicine have seen me through. Too near the end to make a fuss 😆

Needallthesleep · 25/10/2020 01:03

@professorastrocat joining you in a night of wake ups and never sleeping properly again. At least the firsts have shown us that it will get better eventually (I hope!). My DH has been giving the baby a bottle of expresssd milk in the evening so I’m at least getting a chunk of a few hours sleep. In fact, my baby is asleep right now, I should be sleeping not typing Grin

professorastrocat · 25/10/2020 02:59

You definitely should have been asleep @Needallthesleep I hope you are now! I'm confused tonight about the clocks too, I think I've gained an extra hour of wake ups!

DPSawMyUsername · 25/10/2020 07:17

My Bommy Night Due baby group have popped another one out.
I can't cope with waking upto these chubby and confused little faces 😍😍😍

Talcott2007 · 26/10/2020 06:40

Hi Everyone! This will be a long one!

This is Clara - born at 2.42am on 23.10.2020. Weighing in at 3.43kg. (So
not as big as predicted) Very much like her older sister in looks (including exactly the same birthmark on the same ear!) but while a heavier birth weight and technically 'bigger' she has overall more delicate features and already fairer hair than DD1

Induction was pushed back to 22nd. I was found to be 2cm at booking in and once they gave me a sweep things happened very quickly so I was obviously ready to go.

About 7hrs in active labour then pushing for less than 10mins and she shot out like a rocket - (actually before several of the specialists were in the room as per the birth plan!) That had its advantages though as I got some great skin to skin time and she even latched for a while before being whisked of to NICU for monitoring.

Her 1st Echocardigram went well and im delighted to say that there were no unexpected surprises. We are officially looking at a diagnosis of Moderate VSD with Mild Pulmonary Stenosis. Surgery to correct the VSD will taking place in 4-8mnths and the MPS may not need any treatment at all.

We were transitioned after about 24hrs of monitoring in NICU through to SCBU (bypassing HDU entirely) then it was agreed we could both discharge straight home bypassing time on a regular postnatal ward

She is thriving

Talcott2007 · 26/10/2020 06:50

....and posted too soo....

She is thriving and breastfeeding like an absolute Pro - currently every 2-3hrs and has the suction power of a blooming Dyson!! My poor nipples need to toughen up quicker!! Blush

I need to actually read back through the last few days updates on the new and old threads so I really hope everyone is doing well!

Talcott2007 · 26/10/2020 06:55

Forgot a photo!!

This was just after her Echo

Ps. She has come home all wire free and no extra O2 support needed. It really has been the very best case scenario we could have hoped for!

Lola871 · 26/10/2020 08:02

Congratulations! Amazing news.

Hatepickinganame · 26/10/2020 08:05

@Talcott2007 ah im so pleased for you, been hoping you'd find time to let us know how things went Smile she's gorgeous, huge congratulations to you all!
