OK so the title isn't the best haha but didn't want to lose you all and the other thread is filling fast! Gonna flip between the two to tag everyone and make sure I get the usernames right.

Glad it's all going well @Talcott2007!
My DD2 seems to feed everytime she's not asleep!! She's a little chunky monkey she lost 5% weight after birth then the week after had put that back on plus an extra 9oz! That was on her actual due date as she was born a week early!!
My DD1 loves being a big sister too I thought when she realised how much time I had to spend with DD2 she'd feel a bit resentful -it's not in her nature it's just that I quit my job when she was born so she's spent a lot of time with me for the last 4.5 years-but she's been brilliant and really loves her sister!! Xx

DPSawMyUsername · 06/11/2020 09:43

Due date was yesterday, that's obviously been and gone. No bommy night baby for us. DP thinks it'll be Sunday when the match is on purely for the inconvenience 😆
Getting fatter in lockdown is not a bad thing 😄
How's it going for everyone?

Hatepickinganame · 06/11/2020 09:47

@DPSawMyUsername ah fingers crossed if happens for you soon! I'm 35 weeks, absolutely huge, bored silly as I've been off work two weeks already. Can't manage much housework in one go, and generally fed up lol! Have consultant and scan a week Tuesday, see which way up the little monkey is now. And check my fluid levels as I still have too much. How are you coping with overdue? And how's everyone else doing?

OP posts:
DPSawMyUsername · 06/11/2020 10:59

I'm fed up of it but expected it too. DD was 4 days over and back to the very start of our tracking days my initial date was 10th November. Hospital EDD puts conception date to when I was on my period so 🤷🏻‍♀️😆

I hear ya on the cleaning though, I only do dishes/kitchen and hoovering each day. Washing and teas every other maybe and that's more than enough.

Feet up when you can, brew, biscuits and Netflix. What else is there to do when pregnant in a pandemic? 😉 It's been my excuse for months haha.

How are you finding it with consultants? Have you ever seen your actual consultant or just their team of? X

Hatepickinganame · 06/11/2020 11:42

I've seen my actual consultant every time, but then they are slightly fascinated by the really rare blood disorder I carry. Which I was informed last week is probably the reason I always carry so much water! They mentioned referring me to a foetal medicine unit at my last app, but I haven't heard anything since so I'm assuming they've decided its not necessary. I just wish they would make a clear plan, the unknown is driving me crazy. One minute they have me so panicked I took two weeks off sick, and last week they seemed more relaxed 🙄

Ah well 4 days overdue isnt too bad, I was 10 days with my 2nd. My sister was due two weeks after me and went into labour before me lol I was fuming! Get bouncing on a ball or scrubbing floors, thats meant to help bring it on, isnt it?

And yes to Netflix, currently binge watching Dawsons Creek haha

@DPSawMyUsername I'm still stuck at Hoovering Everyday. Can you swing by mine? 🤣 Even when I'm not pregnant I don't Hoover that often. Sweep a lot but maybe my hoover is just too big. It's one of those Henry's that live forever and weigh a tonne.

MummyBearBoo · 06/11/2020 21:18

My DD2 is 1 month old today that's passed in the blink of an eye!! Xx

Wise0wl · 08/11/2020 23:05

Hi all just checking in as I lost the thread. How are you all doing? Can’t believe you’ve had your DD for over a month now @MummyBearBoo!

Hatepickinganame · 08/11/2020 23:10

Hey @Wise0wl sorry if I missed you, I did try to tag everyone! How are you? And @MummyBearBoo a month already? Wow! As for me, pelvic pain is going off the scale. I'm so big I can't even get up the stairs without huffing and puffing. I have 33 days until my due date though! (I think haha my counting might be a little off!)

@DPSawMyUsername any news from you? I can't remember who else was due soon...

OP posts:
DPSawMyUsername · 08/11/2020 23:32

@calimommy Now that DP is furloughed I don't even have to do my own 😂😂 "I didn't get to see where you were struggling and how much" 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Life of luxury at the minute haha

@Hatepickinganame 3 days overdue today, however, that's the hospitals scan date. My LMP date is 10th November otherwise according to theirs I would've conceived on my period and that's just not happened 😂
Had a few small signs today that things are knocking up a gear but nothings actually started. Fingers crossed for tomorrow because I want to breathe 😁

Lola871 · 09/11/2020 08:50

Hi all, I'm currently sat in hospital waiting for them to have a room/midwife available to break my waters after being induced. Hoping for today but because of covid restrictions on numbers it could be longer! So will hopefully have some news in the next couple of days 🤞

Talcott2007 · 09/11/2020 14:38

Good Luck @Lola871! Hope they don't make you wait too long! Xx

Hatepickinganame · 09/11/2020 14:57

@Lola871 ooh good luck! Will check back for your baby update. Hope its a nice speedy delivery for you.

@DPSawMyUsername fingers crossed it.kicks off for you. I'm with you on the breathing I think my belly expanded overnight cause I now feel like I can't get a proper breath, its actually awful and a couple of times today I've had to go outside to feel like I can breathe! Ill upload a bump pic, I'm definitely whale sized now!

OP posts:
Hatepickinganame · 09/11/2020 15:03

Apparently my first try didn't upload so sorry if this posts twice! This pic doesn't do the bump justice lol but didn't want to put one of me in my underwear lol

Good luck @Lola871

@Hatepickinganame I thought he would have been so low down by now that I could breathe and the heartburn would stop but clearly that life isn't for me 😂

Lola871 · 09/11/2020 18:59

Thanks ladies, still waiting for a bed to be available! Getting a bit fed up but nothing I can do unfortunately.

DPSawMyUsername · 09/11/2020 19:25

@Hatepickinganame What a neat bump! I'm over the showing underwear thing now, makes me giggle that we apologise on boards like these about TMI but we all knew what we literally signed up for 😂

@Lola871 Hope they're getting to you soon x

Wise0wl · 09/11/2020 22:26

Hello! @Hatepickinganame I totally get the breathlessness though think baby might have dropped a bit, now I’ve got bad shooting pains in my crotch when I walk 😳 EDD is next Weds for me, time has flown!

@Lola871 good luck! Keep us posted!

DPSawMyUsername · 10/11/2020 08:05

@Wise0wl "Fanny daggers" are just not fun at all. Anyone else feel like they're carrying a bowling ball between their thighs?

I'm unsure if my waters started this morning so on the ball with clubland playing while I wait 😂

Hope you're all good @Lola871

Hatepickinganame · 10/11/2020 20:07

@DPSawMyUsername ooh exciting, any news?

@Lola871 hope things are moving along for you now!

I seriously need some sleep. I wake up about a hundred times a night to pee and cause my hips/pelvis are soooo painful. Definitely struggling with last trimester issues now!

OP posts:
DPSawMyUsername · 10/11/2020 22:40

@Hatepickinganame Had a midwife appointment today anyway so she checked my pad, was unsure and bump measured the same as 2 weeks ago so she sent me to maternity triage for checks and a growth scan.

Got to the hospital at 11.15am, left at 8pm after a sweep which tells us I have an unfavorable cervix, a growth scan that showed everything as absolutely fine and an induction booked for Thursday (41 week).
Their concern is me with the scar on the uterus rather than baby. So by Friday I may possibly have him here, fingers crossed.

Wise0wl · 11/11/2020 09:24

Yes @DPSawMyUsername! Bowling ball and fanny daggers here. 🤞🤞🤞 he starts to make an appearance!

@Hatepickinganame entirely sympathise with the hips, have you tried sleeping on a cushion/blanket/folded duvet?

DPSawMyUsername · 11/11/2020 17:26

Well that sweep clearly did nothing.
Looks like induction it is. Always had a feeling this would end in a section one way or another, I think the induction will fail, I'll refuse another and off to theatre we'll go. ☹️

Needallthesleep · 11/11/2020 20:15

Thinking of you @DPSawMyUsername.

DPSawMyUsername · 11/11/2020 20:38

@Needallthesleep Thank you. Found myself getting quite upset before thinking back to the Information overload. 4 different people - midwives, registrar and consultant all telling me the same procedures but all giving me a different opinion on the procedures and what would suit me best. The consultant lady is the one who signed me back over to midwife care and moved me from high to medium risk. All the support I seemed to have received for a VBAC (I wasn't being a hippy with it, we do what we need to do in any circumstance) feels like I was lead a song and dance. X
