This is my little chubster she's 5 months on Saturday and weighs 15lbs she used to sleep though or only wake once but since 4 months sleep regression she waking up about twice or 3 times a night! She's exclusively breastfed and hates bottles or dummy's! Xx

It's like they always say once you stop trying it happens! With my eldest we'd resigned ourselves to PGD (genetic testing and IVF) due to my PCOS and then got pregnant while waiting for the appointment! Xx

Ah that's so similar to me! I have pcos but dh had 0% morphology so they said the chances were very very slim, hence ivf, but the doc gave him some supplements and they must have worked 🙌🏼 Is EDD estimated due date? (Rubbish at the lingo!), if it is, based on an online calculation I did around 5th Nov 🤞🏼

She was our 3rd time lucky as due to a genetic abnormality to we had to end our two previous pregnancies which we both boys at 13 weeks xx

Sounds like you are so strong about your dad @MummyBearBoo but I bet it's been such a shock and I'm so sorry. It's hard to be strong for our children but I think it's ok to be sad too around them, whilst trying to protect them from the worst of it. Whatever you feel is appropriate for your eldests age. Big hugs.

Thanks so much @professorastrocat -I know it's totally not related to this thread but knew I could rely on you guys for support ! Told my DD1 that grandad's brain isn't working properly he's still grandad but sometimes he need another grown up with him to help him and make sure he's ok.
It's frontotemporal dementia so he does strange things like goes up to the bathroom and runs taps for hours, hides things randomly and he can't drive anymore!
Anywho they are my childcare bubble so we're going to go and see them tomorrow!
I've had my vaccine I was really achey everywhere for a day but took calpol (thought infant calpol would be better than full on paracetamol when breast feeding) and it worked.

Hope your visit goes ok today, sounds like you did well explaining to your eldest. My nana had Alzheimer's and they are cruel diseases.

My smallest is 5 months today, can hardly believe how quickly it's gone!

Ps - you can take normal paracetamol when feeding. Unless there's any reasons you normally wouldn't. Check out the Breastfeeding Networks fact sheets for info. Don't be in pain if you don't need to be (generally speaking!) also glad your vaccine was ok xx

I know re- paracetamol but felt better taking Calpol anyway and that low dose worked anyway time goes too fast! X

Girls how's everyone getting on I've got a chunky 7 month old here she's wearing 9-12 month clothes coz she's quite big for her age -she's sitting up and trying to crawl she moves her hands but can't quite coordinate her legs to move with her arms yet! She is loving her solid food but will only have 2oz occasionally from or totally refuses a bottle so I'm still breast feeding!!!

Hey @MummyBearBoo she is absolutely gorgeous! Nice to hear from you, it's quiet in here nowadays, I guess everyone is so busy with their babes. My little one is doing well, too.

Yeah I know just thought I'd check in the babies do keep us busy! Glad you're getting on well! My baby is trying her best to crawl so she can chase after her sister she's almost there just not quite coordinated enough yet!!

Yes thanks I'm good I have a crawling, cruising 10 month old that keeps me on my toes she pulls herself up on everything then she lets go with one hand which she's fine at but then half turns around and falls over so I have to be there to catch her! In 2 weeks shell be 11 months then will be 1 😱!

we are semi crawling here & attempting downward facing dog 😂 that's mad an almost 1 year old!! Time absolutely flies past doesn't it 😅

If it happens in the next 2 months it will be 2 under 18months 😂 been blessed with the easiest baby in the world so I'll likely play for it with the next one! Think I'll get my tubes tied after my cs

Hi everyone nice to hear you. We're fine - 11 months tomorrow! And starting nursery soon 😭 cruising around everywhere so we'll see how long until she's walking!
All the best with ttc again @whatsthecraic91 that's exciting! I miss the buses haha.

@professorastrocat - your Lo must have born on my due date coz she was due on13th Oct but as both in 6th! She's 1 in under 2 weeks I can't believe it i feel like I've just blinked and a year had gone by! She's finally got some teeth two bottom and two top came thru together so her toothy grin is even more cheeky!@whatsthecraic91 it's such hard working once get mobile mine is crawling and cruising and can stand unaided for a few minutes but then sits down to crawl or falls landing on her bum! Shes a little madam and still won't drink from any cups or bottles she will drink a small amount of water from a sippy cup so I'm hoping to stop breastfeeding when she's one and can have cows milk and hopefully water!! Xxxx

Hey guys, how is everyone? It's been mental here, can't believe how fast the time has gone! Since I last posted, we've bought a house and got engaged!! How are all the babies? Luna refuses to sleep, I was up at 2am last night and she finally went back to sleep at 5am. This happens every night. I can count the amount of times she's slept through on one hand.... and I'm back at work now so really struggling!
