In regards to the faint tests i wouldnt worry. I tested for days with an internet cheapie then bought a clearblue (ok maybe 3).
I tested with fmu with all tests, the cheap (and supoosedly mosy senstive one!) has a reallt faint line. The clear blues were very strong.
Tests can vary so much, if you use the cheapie ebay ones like i did they have differnt levels of dye in each one.

Hi everyone!
Can I jump in?
I'm 4 weeks and my first.
It all feels like a weird dream!
What I thought was PMS was obviously early PG symptoms. Boobs so tender I couldn't do my jacket up over them Grin
I'm also cramping OP. I'm told that's normal.
I'm a police officer so need to tell my sergeant ASAP so they can do risk assessments etc.
I'm so nervous but so excited!

adogisforlife91 · 20/10/2020 11:50

Welcome @RainbowReader - its does feel very surreal doesn't it! How long were you trying for?

Hows everyone else doing? I've really noticed my boobs starting to get sore and heavy today, and they are growing....but one much more than the other!! hope it evens out!!

RainbowReader · 20/10/2020 12:20

@adogisforlife91 we've been trying for about 8 months. I came off the depo injection in January and was prepared for it to take a long time as I'd heard after depo it can take two years to get PG.

Dublindolly · 20/10/2020 12:21

Hi all, I’m so excited that I found this little group. I found out I’m pregnant just at the weekend. Dr appointment is on Friday. This is our first. We only started trying last month so to say we are shocked it happened so fast is an understatement. I’m 34 and my partner is 38 so I feel it’s the perfect time.

Once I get the test from the doctor on Friday we were planning on telling both sets of our parents. Have you guys shared the news with anyone yet? I’m going to wait until the three months for others. But I need to let some know or the secret will burst out of me!!

Flowerbudd · 20/10/2020 14:18

Hey everyone Smile congratulations to all!!

Im only 3 weeks and 5 days so Id love to join. I wasn't going to post as it feels so surreal and it's so early but Im so worried I just need some other ladies to speak to.
I feel crampy today which is worrying me but I know this is normal so i keep telling myself take a week (or a day) at a time and look after myself.

Would love to have some buddies along the way Thanks

Narla2020 · 20/10/2020 14:43

It's so nice to hear of lots of you who are around the same stage Smile, it's reassuring to hear others feelings/ thoughts too!
How is everyone feeling? I've had the odd cramp but nothing much other than that so far.

Flowerbudd · 20/10/2020 15:35

@Narla2020 Hey :) it's reassuring isn't it? Feel so alone at this stage as no one knows so it's good to have here.

Im feeling ok today, crampy but not as bad as yesterday. Ive had a metallic taste since way before my BFP, kind of forgot what normal taste is 😂 hope you're ok too.

brownie100 · 20/10/2020 17:47

Hey All,
Can I join in too? I found out on Sunday that I'm pregnant. 4 years of trying and my first round of clomid, so to say I'm shocked is an understatement. But so so excited and very anxious. The doctors say I'm 4 weeks and 3 days. Ive been having some cramping, but it sounds like I'm not on my own. Is anyone having an early scan? Smile

Namechange8471 · 20/10/2020 18:29

brownie100

Congratulations and welcome, you must be over the moon ☺️

Im still waiting to hear about an nhs scan, I've booked a private one for 1st December. I was going to choose an earlier one but i want to be able to see more haha.

Has anyone else booked a private scan?

brownie100 · 20/10/2020 19:16

Thanks @Namechange8471 I think we're still in disbelief. I feel like I need some reassurance, because other than the 5 tests I did and ringing the doctors to tell them, I don't feel as tho it has been confirmed. Do you know what I mean?

I bet you can't wait for your scan - I would definitely like to see more, but I'm not a very patient person Smile and so would like one as soon as possible.

brownie100 · 20/10/2020 19:17

Oh and congratulations to you too @Namechange8471 Smile

Sweetmad · 20/10/2020 19:28

Hi all. Am going to jump on here too! Am currently 5weeks 3days (by my rough calculations) with first child! Am very excited as this bfp came out of the blue. Been feeling a little alone lately but am happy I found this site as I know I’m not alone going through all this! I booked a private scan for 8 weeks as am very anxious and the wait for 12 weeks feels like it’s going to take forever 😩

Flowerbudd · 20/10/2020 19:33

@brownie100 Aww congratulations! ☺️ definitely not on your own with the cramping.

We're thinking of booking one around 8-9 weeks so end of November. Id love one around 6-7 weeks but my OH wants to wait until a bit later :)

@Sweetmad Hey, congrats! You're not alone here Thanks Im also booking a scan for around then. Feels so weird no ones confirming it and 12 weeks feels like a lifetime!!

Sweetmad · 20/10/2020 19:40

@Flowerbudd Thankyou! I feel the same; called my GP who told me to self refer to my local maternity unit via email which I did and then 4 days later I get an email with a welcome pack and that a midwife will be in contact around 8 weeks to book a telephone booking appointment. Seems very all out of sorts and I would love a blood test just for the confirmation but seems they do this at 12 week scan. All seems so weird with nobody apart from a cb test telling me I’m pregnant 😂

Flowerbudd · 20/10/2020 19:46

@Sweetmad ah thats crazy isn't it? Seems such a long time and Covid probably isn't helping, so many things will be different for us. Ill give my doctors a call on Monday I think :)

😂 yep! Just my CB confirming to me right now..i keep taking the tests out to see 🙈

Dublindolly · 20/10/2020 19:52

I got so worried early because I felt a little on the left cramp but reading what you have said has totally put me at ease now.

The whole thing seems so foreign to me at the moment. I keep expecting my period to come! I’ve not really done a whole lot of research into actually being pregnant I spent all my time researching what to do to get there!!

Namechange8471 · 20/10/2020 20:11

Dublindolly i can totally relate, i felt the same when pregnant with dd, like i shouldn't get excited because my period was arriving! It never did and i had zero bleeding!

It's nice to have little group, there is a bigger one on here but i tend to feel 'lost' when 8 post on the thread 😂

Are you all planning on finding out the sex? Any premonitions?

Garman · 20/10/2020 20:16

Congrats everyone Smile

I'm booking a scan for 6 weeks, I like to see there's a heartbeat for definite before I tell anyone like my parents or close friends.

We won't find out if it's a boy or a girl, I like the surprise Smile

Dublindolly · 20/10/2020 20:26

@Namechange8471 I think in a day or two I will relax more. It’s all still sinking in. 100% agree it’s amazing to have a group going through the same stages Smile

100% will find out, I want everything I buy to be full of colour. I think for the first I just want to be fully planned. It’s weird I’ve always had a boy name but never a girls. My mum is always saying when I get pregnant it will be a boy. So guess we both think it will be.

What about you? Do you have a feeling one way?

brownie100 · 20/10/2020 20:28

Oh it's so exciting to see all these happy stories!

I think that what I'm going to plan @Garman a 6 weeks scan, I just want to make sure I'm not going crazy and to check to see if there's one or 2!!

I'm undecided about finding out the sex, I know my husband would like to know, but I'd like to keep it a surprise.

Garman · 20/10/2020 20:32

@Dublindolly I love full bright colourful baby clothes too! I'm not into pastel "baby" colours, we have boxes of lovely baby stuff left from our other dc that I thought I'd just be passing on to someone else Smile

reservoircats · 20/10/2020 20:32

Can I join? I am due on 29th June 2021 and am four weeks today :)
I am going to call my GP tomorrow to see what the next steps are :)
It's so nice to have the journey to share with others, especially as we want to wait until at least 8 weeks to tell anyone.

Flowerbudd · 20/10/2020 20:37

@Dublindolly My cramps feel slightly more to the left as well, been driving myself crazy with worry lol i have the 'baby centre' app which is good as it gives you daily reads on helpful tips etc :)

@Namechange8471 I think the sex will be a surprise unless we change our minds, i was set on finding out but my OH said something the other day about the surprise and something clicked in my head to let him make the call on that one :) i honestly have no idea what I feel it is, do you?
Ooh i know, some groups are big. I tend to read all the comments but not write as I get lost lol

@reservoircats Congrats ☺️☺️ we also plan to wait until 8/9 weeks to tell close family, which will be the early scan. Seems so long!!! Im so close to my Mum so if she doesn't guess Id be shocked but i know she won't say anything just in case
