I think I'm comparing it to my ectopic pregnancy I tested on same day 1sr day of missed period and it said 1-2 weeks but I suppose my HCG was probably lower cause it was ectopic

Flowerbudd · 05/11/2020 20:20

@Hopefulmummie Aw Im sorry to hear about your ectopic :( you're probably right about the level actually and i think its a good sign to see your 2-3 weeks :) Its such a worrying time isn't it? Thanks

Who else hits the 12 week mark in the couple of weeks before Christmas? My parents are asking for ideas for presents and I can’t think of anything except for a bigger dressing gown! Anyone got any suggestions?

PFin · 10/11/2020 02:31

Awh congrats! My first i knew super early too and the wait for the first scan etc was torture it just dragged in. This time round I hadn't a clue and didnt find out till I was 8 weeks and this time it all feels too quick. Good Luck

Rachetine · 10/11/2020 21:42

@Sunbird24 I’m 12 weeks on the 18th, hoping to squeeze a scan in before Christmas so we can tell the in laws on Christmas Day with a photo in a card!

Has anyone else found their skin is totally ravaged? I never get spots and the last three weeks I’ve broken out like crazy!

Sunbird24 · 10/11/2020 21:57

I’ve got a few! Possibly on the verge of a cold sore as well Hmm

Sunbird24 · 18/11/2020 15:57

Red herring for me I’m afraid, 8 wk scan shows my pregnancy stopped progressing some time ago. Best of luck to everyone else! X

Mctm123 · 18/11/2020 16:50

So sorry to hear that @Sunbird24 I know how difficult it is especially after Ivf. Look after yourself, sending love xxx

Beckie93 · 18/11/2020 16:54

Hi I also found out yesterday I'm around 4 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I'm super excited x

Sunbird24 · 20/11/2020 14:09

Congratulations @Beckie93, that’s lovely news!

Bellabubble · 21/11/2020 11:56

@Sunbird24 sorry to hear about your pg, I had an early scan too and I measured 6wks but should have been 9+5. My second mc this year, apparently this one is an anembryonic one. I have a d&c on Monday as my body hasn’t done anything naturally. I hope you are ok and taking care of yourself xx

Sunbird24 · 21/11/2020 12:53

@Bellabubble how long did you have to wait before they offered some form of management? I’m sorry you are having to go through this too, and hope the d&c isn’t too traumatic xx

Bellabubble · 21/11/2020 13:40

@Sunbird24 I had a private scan on Nov 7th and I knew straight away when they said my dates didn’t match that things hadn’t progressed, but guidelines said to have a second scan to make sure, so we had another the next Sat with no change. The private scan (she is a trained midwife which was handy) reffered me to my local EPAC, and they rescanned this Thursday and confirmed it all - but they said as it had been long enough without my body recognising things hadn’t progressed, it would be best to intervene in some way. All in all by Monday when I have the d&c it will be just over 2 weeks. Have you been offered any help, or did they ask you to wait first? xx

Sunbird24 · 21/11/2020 14:40

No they’ve told me to wait but I’m tempted to speak to the dr this week given that it never happened naturally last time either

Bellabubble · 21/11/2020 15:12

@Sunbird24 used the fact that I measured at 6weeks but was 10+2 by the time of my last scan and said, it hasn’t noticed in 4weeks - I don’t feel like it will anytime soon. As much as I’m nervous about the general anaesthetic, I feel like I’m being more proactive now which helps me cope! I’d definitely go to your Dr if you feel like nature isn’t working - you know your body best, and being in limbo is just rubbish! xx

Sunbird24 · 21/11/2020 22:36

I ended up getting brought to A&E in an ambulance because I was in so much pain. Still no bleeding x

Sunbird24 · 22/11/2020 00:58

Looks like I may have ruptured an ovarian cyst. It’s wonderful being a woman isn’t it?

Bellabubble · 22/11/2020 12:55

@Sunbird24 oh my goodness - I hope you are ok! Have they still got you in hospital?

Sunbird24 · 24/11/2020 12:28

@Bellabubble they sent me home same night with codeine - I’m booked to the epu on Thursday for a scan and hopefully to discuss speeding the miscarriage along

MintGreenLife · 24/11/2020 14:11

Hi everyone :)

I've been reading back over a few of your posts. I got my BFP on Sunday with a FRER and CB digital, and tested again this morning with a FRER and line is darker today.

You're probably all a bit further a long for me to join in properly, as I'll only be about 4 weeks.

What I wanted to ask is if some of you didn't experience much cramping at all very early on? Apart from a few twinges and a bit of a feeling of pressure, I've not felt a lot, and today I feel like I feel less than previous days. Symptom wise my boobs are really sore on the sides and I have been quite bloated x
