cool thanks @Gingergeek89! as if we filled up a whole thread already!!

Gingergeek89 · 22/09/2020 20:31

@leftitlate37 just goes to show the impact of pregnancy. Think especially in the earlier stages when limited people are aware it can be really helpful to have somewhere to go.

Wander how many more threads we will need haha

I'm guessing alot! It's been a crazy few months I feel like I've learned so much basic biology about making babies that I swear I never knew! Been so glad for these threads as I think I'd worry more without understanding what other people are going through too and knowing what is normal/expected.

Gingergeek89 · 22/09/2020 20:42

Definitely makes you realise that your not going mad and then your worries and weird symptoms are shared by others. I have to say, getting to watch the heartbeat last week was maybe the coolest thing I’ve ever seen

Placemarking! Booked an early scan for next Sunday, starting to feel more real now. Feel like I've forgotten everything from when my children were babies, but then spoke to SIL for about an hour about bottles, bf and sterilising and it's all flooding back now. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing haha!

Gingergeek89 · 22/09/2020 20:46

@imisscoffee hope the scan goes well next week! Any remembered expertise will definitely be appreciated here haha it’s my first pregnancy so complete newbie.

Thanks all for your kind words on my last post.

I’m going to take some time away from mumsnet as I’m not in a great place, I promise to report back after my next scan but sadly things are looking bleak 💔

Hope to be back with you all soon and good luck ladies x

There seems to be 2 May threads and I was reading the other one and didnt recognise any of the members lol

@Littlebee1990 hope it all goes well with the scan. Fingers crossed for you.

leftitlate37 · 23/09/2020 10:23

I think I'm on both and had got confused at first!!
Ah @Littlebee1990 please take care of yourself and share an update soon. Thinking of u and keeping everything crossed. U got lots of support for u on here! X

Littlebee1990 · 23/09/2020 10:36

Thank you all so so much.

I’ve moved my private scan to Tuesday 29th at 8AM so if it is bad news my partner will be there. I’m clinging on to a tiny bit of hope that perhaps the heart had only just started beating and that’s why it was slow but hopefully I’ll know more next week xx

RiverRoo · 23/09/2020 11:00

Crossing my fingers for you @Littlebee1990 x

I had a scan this morning due to a previous partial molar pregnancy which identified the gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole yet. I estimate I'm around 5 + 4 but this is based on conception and not LMP as my period hadn't yet returned from my previous loss in July. I'll have a repeat scan in 2 weeks or so but I'm feeling really positive! I know that some people see a fetal pole at my same gestation but I'm thinking it will start in the next few days or it took a little longer for the sperm to find the egg and implant! Due 22nd May at the moment x

ScottishLassie91 · 23/09/2020 11:03

@leftitlate37 how you doing? (I changed my username from Laurenemma13 btw :) ). Still can't believe it tbh lol! X

Littlebee1990 · 23/09/2020 11:11

@RiverRoo That’s great! I estimated myself as 5+5 yesterday so didn’t even expect them to see a heartbeat, I kinda wish they hadn’t seen one rather than say there was one but it was slow.. this early pregnancy life is not enjoyable. I can’t even remember what she said now it all feels like a blur ☹️

UnicornAndSparkles · 23/09/2020 12:07

Hi ladies, just placemarking. 8+3 today.

henni85 · 23/09/2020 14:30

@RiverRoo I had a scan last week and was estimated at 5+2. There was only the gestational sac and yolk sac. I have a scan on Monday and I’m getting nervous as I have had 3 or 4 miscarriages since having my youngest 13 years ago. I’m desperately trying to relax but it’s really tough when I want everything to be ok

leftitlate37 · 23/09/2020 14:50

oh totally hadnt realised that @ScottishLassie91!! makes sense now! glad u told me as was thinking about u yesterday haha.
just got my booking in appt, excited and still nervous all at once, makes it more real but swear until i see some good news on a scan I wont actually believe it.
@RiverRoo and @henni85 good luck for both your next scans. cant say just try and relax cos definitely easier said than done, but just go easy on yourselves xx

RustyCat · 23/09/2020 15:05

Hi ladies, I've not posted much on the other chat but in due eat 16th may next year. Got my booking in appointment and 12wk scan appointment from the midwives today.

Now I have to patiently wait until the 4th November for my scan and it feels ages away! DH can't come with as his work won't let him out as he has some special thing happening, so I'll be going on my own to both of these appointments!

Gingergeek89 · 23/09/2020 15:21

Best of luck to everyone with upcoming scans and booking appointments. I definitely felt both a lot calmer after meeting my midwife and a lot more prepared.

Hi,

Hope it’s okay for me to come on here.
After some advice please I have had no pregnancy symptoms other than a positive test. I have worked out my due date to be 14/05.
I have started getting real bad stomache cramps almost like a period pain and hot flushes, my wee is really cloudy with floaty bits and it’s not a UTI (TMI sorry). Is this normal or a sign of misscarriage?
I am getting really bad anxiety and not sure what to do.

BabyDust13 · 23/09/2020 16:28

Hey ladies I'm 5 weeks today and due 26th May I think

I haven't done my referral to the midwife I'm a bit nervous. I've already had 2 MCs this year so I think I'm going to wait another week or two

I'm hoping to book an early scan for 7/8 weeks until then I'm just going to try and think positive thoughts

Congratulations to you all

Gingergeek89 · 23/09/2020 16:41

@Smile03 Welcome to the thread 😊 I experienced some funky cramping in the first few weeks of pregnancy which has now settled. As I understand it unless you are getting bleeding it doesn’t normally indicate a miscarriage. If you are concerned though and it is very uncomfortable might be worth ringing the GP? Would probably help with the anxiety to have a professional opinion

@BabyDust13 welcome, sorry to hear about your precious MCs, really hope that this one sticks for you

Hi guys! I got a positive about 2 weeks ago and I think I'm around 6 + 3. I'm booked in to see the midwife next Friday and we're going to book a private scan for the following week. This is my first pregnancy and it was an accident but I keep getting very worried that something is going to go wrong. I've been super tired and very nauseous the past 2 weeks, I'm hoping that these symptoms go away soon!
