Not sure if anyone heard Elizabeth Day talking about miscarriage on radio 4 at about 6ish this evening. It was really good xxx

Evening all. Just caught up, threads moved fast today 😅 welcome to all the new ladies 👋🏻 My best advice to help you through is like the other ladies say is set little milestones and most importantly just take one day at a time. To me every single day is a milestone so I could daily but also weekly are slightly bigger milestones 😁

I can’t remember all the tags as I still haven’t begun to type elsewhere first then copy/paste 😩 but I will try to address things raised as far as I can remember lol.

I’m in the heamatoma club. It started 2 weeks ago tomorrow but I’m hoping it’s finally resolving as today’s the first day where I’ve had no brown 🤞🏻 I will ask her to check at scan tomorrow.

@MrsK21 I had an epu early scan at around 6 weeks and they said baby was 5+6 and could see a heartbeat then. I then had a private scan around 7 weeks and 9 weeks and tomorrow at 11 weeks. Still waiting for my nhs one to arrive but hopefully I can wait after tomorrow until that. I should imagine I’ll go for a couple more private ones if 12 week scan is ok before 20 week one. I just love to see the changes. It’s not my first pregnancy obviously but I only got to 7+6 really before so didn’t get far enough to see proper baby shape and stuff. So where I’m at now is all new to me.

The Chrissy Teigen news really upset me today when I saw it too 💔 a early miscarriage was bad enough but can’t imagine things going wrong at that stage. Horrific. My friend said she knew and didn’t tell me when I msg her cause she didn’t want to upset me.

I’ve had some news today from my blood test with midwife. I’m o negative blood type so a bit rare and as it’s negative I have to have an injection at 28 weeks otherwise my blood can attack the babies red blood cells if our blood mixes which can make baby anaemic or jaundice. 85% of people are positive so chances are my husband is so chances are baby will be too. If babies negative like me then there’s no problem but obviously chances are it’s positive hence the need for the injection. Anyone else had this? Or are you all positive blood types? Trust me to be different 😩🙄

@SkyBlue20 oh my weird dream last night was I drank 4 cans of alcohol (couldn’t remember which) but in the dream I was telling myself it’s ok cause it’s not wine 😅 I don’t miss drinking by the way lol x

@pugprincess me and @bubblybon20 have your blood type. I didn't have the have the anti d after having DD as they tested the blood from the cord and shes the same as me so it's ok.

I can't explain it very well but it's your 2nd 3rd 4th and so on pregnancies it affects. But even with your first if you have any bleeding after a certain stage or bang your bump you have to have the anti D As well. It's all very confusing,

Oh and on the dreams I had one last week I got really really drunk and took loads of cocaine but I was telling myself it was ok coz I was rubbish at taking it. I don't drink even when not pregnant and I've never took drugs in my life. That was a strange one 😩

Hope your scan goes well tomorrow @Pugprincess it’s so nice to see a real “baby looking” baby I agree! Husband and I agreed we’ll wait til 20 week scan now but I can see myself booking a sneaky extra between now and then 🙈 an expensive habit!

So funny how many of you have had dreams about drinking - I dreamt the other night that I forgot I was pregnant and drank 2 G&Ts, then was horrified and trying to make myself throw up. I woke up retching and gagging 😑 why do our brains do this to us!?

I’m scaring myself this morn, trying to remember if I had a growing pains yday I can’t remember as I usually get them every day 😩

@Poppy10121 I think i forgot to congratulate you on your scan.. so congratulations!!

I had 2 mental dreams again last night.. my alarm was a relief to get away from them. One was like a twisted version of cinderella... you know how the animals love and help her? Well the animals in my dream came and attacked us because they said we hadn't cleaned the house enough and if we didn't clean 20 times a day, onions grew out of all the floors and walls🤣

I'm bleeding a little bit today. Feeling really worried, as I had this around this time last pregnancy, but not in any of my successful ones.

@Threnody I'm sorry to hear you are bleeding. I've got my fingers crossed for you that everything is ok.
I've been bleeding too and it's such a scary thing. I'm also really nervous.

@Threnody do you have any appointments coming up soon or can you get one so that you can get checked out and hopefully get some reassurance that it's all OK?

@Threnody and @Simmy20 what kind of blood is it? I had 2 weeks of light brown discharge at your stage x

@Pugprincess mine was red with clots. It was very heavy when I wiped but hardly any went on the pad. I bled for 4 days. It's stopped now. I had hcg tests and my hcg level went from 180 to 479 in 2 days so hoping that's a good sign. Although that still seems low to me. I have another blood test on Tuesday and if it's still going up then can book a scan after that

@Pugprincess @Simmy20 mine is bright red with a couple of little clots. I don't have any appointments yet, I only filled in the form to register yesterday. I will contact my Dr.

@Threnody maybe ring your EPU? In my area the online registration goes through to them anyway, so you can explain & hopefully they’ll find your details. I’d be worried too, but if it helps I had bleeding & spotting with my first successful pregnancy, second time round not a single bit of spotting & the MMC happened. It’s scary to see blood but isn’t always bad, lots of people on here having the same worries. Everything crossed for you xx

@Threnody @Simmy20 sorry you have both experienced some bleeding. Really hope everything is ok xx

@threnody @simmy20 I had bleeding but at 9 weeks. Mine Was quite a gush as I stood up. And I had bleeding with DD. But non with my MMC.

@simmy20 it doesn't matter how low the numbers are just that it increases by 60% or more is what epu said to me. Mine were like 860 or something and went to 1500 so over the 60% increase and yours have more than doubled so fingers crossed

@ew1990 and @Lollol86 thank you. I'm trying to stay positive. Tuesday can't come quick enough.
In AU we don't have to register the pregnancy. Just off to the GP then a referral to OBGYN. So thankfully I was able to go see my GP fairly quickly for tests. It seems to be taking forever to be Tuesday

Thanks ladies. I tried doing an e-consult, but it kicked me out when I said I was pregnant, and I had to ring the drs surgery. Someone will ring me back by 1 apparently.

Well the dr rang, asked a couple of questions, and basically said it's too early, you might just be having a late period which is an early miscarriage, or you might not, there's nothing they can do.
So that was a waste of time.
There's still a bit of bleeding, but very tiny amounts now. I have cramps and backache too though.

@Threnody oh ffs, the dr’s really know how to handle things with compassion don’t they 🙄 Hope you’re okay, it honestly can be normal so everything crossed that’s the case xxx
