@Poppy10121 @SkyBlue20 thank you. I didn’t know that about the CB tests, makes sense now, phew! Great tips on setting little milestones too. I was going to register the pregnancy online this week so it felt more real, but maybe I’ll wait a bit & set it as my first milestone.

@RosieJess91 not much longer to wait now, everything crossed for you! I’m sure it’s just the anxieties creeping in & everything will be just fine.

@Workingmama1 def ring the EPU, hopefully they’ll get you in today & put your mind at rest. What a worry!

SkyBlue20 · 29/09/2020 08:41

@Workingmama1 Huge hugs being sent just down the road to you and a big handhold. I’m glad the EPU have got you in and hope they do scan you. Have absolutely no doubt about telling them about your history and the added anxiety it brings, they really ought to take that in to account. Lots of love xx

@Workingmama1 glad you’re in. Insist they scan you! Because of the history & the anxiety they absolutely should. Lots of love xx

Wow a lot to catch up on this morning @workingmama hope its nothing and you get reassurance this morning ❤

@ starfish congratulations! I Don't think I rang to book my booking appointment till about 8 weeks coz I didn't believe I was pregnant again.

@skyblue20 I hope it starts to feel real after the 20 week scan. Had a few flutter s a few week ago but nothing since. Its very surreal like I know I'm pregnant but I forget I am if that makes sense. 16 week appointment over the phone tomorrow so I'm gunna have a chat to her about my anxiety. It's not as bad as it was but there's still a niggle there in the back of my head. I think it will be there untill I have this baby 🙈

Definitely only 1 baby!! Phew!
Feel much better now. Baby won't roll over, so I've had to go for a walk to see if it will turn over, so still no scan pics. But at least I know it's safe and sound, if not a little bit stubborn!!

Report
SkyBlue20 · 29/09/2020 10:18

@RosieJess91 Yay, fab news that all is ok - and now you finally know there's only one! Hope the stubborn little one rolls over soon.

@Workingmama1 Hope all is ok xx

@ew1990 I'm exactly the same - I know it, I just almost forget. Fully with you on the niggle, too, it's like I won't allow myself to believe it's all going to be ok. I think it's probably completely normal after everything we've been through. Also have my 16 week appt tomorrow (strangely mine's in person and DH is even allowed to come - but he still can't come to scans - different trusts), so also going to mention it then.

My morning nausea has come back the last couple of days, I'm not happy about it! Sitting here nibbling on crackers at the mo, it's like I've regressed!

@rosiejess aww yay!! Another scan to add to our list.

@skyblue20 it's strange isn't it how different trust work. DP still isn't allowed at scans. After my 20 week scan I won't see anyone then till 28 weeks. They've already booked me in for a growth scan when I'm 28 weeks it's 22nd of December

@RosieJess91 Great news! Well done you for waiting until the 12 week scan and no more worries about twins lol.

@ew1990 Yep, 2 months of basically being neglected. After my scan, I have nothing until my birthing options appt and 2nd GTT at 28 weeks. Probs also a MW appt, so potentially 3 appts around the same time. Surely it shouldn’t matter that we’re not FTMs, anything can happen in 2 months.

@SkyBlue20 MW only checked heartbeat once for me and it was when I was much further on than 16 w. Didn’t get checked this time either.

My buggy lives in the boot of my car or by my front door. I’ve got a few though - 2 at my parents and 1 at mine. At my in-laws, I use the buggy they have there lol (they look after DS’ cousins).

We’ve got 3 more BFPs from our TTC thread! Hopefully they’ll all be joining us.

@Starfish762 So glad you’ve joined us! The amount of us getting BFPs so quickly is great. The furthest of us is 18+ weeks but we also have those in the first trimester still so it’s a good mix. I actually had my booking in appt at 5 weeks lol but don’t think you’d usually get seen until about 8 so there’s no rush to register.

Haha! Thanks everyone, was scanned 3 times and the baby still wouldn't roll over, so I have to go back Monday to try again. So for now, these are the best pics I can get!
But I've jumped forwards loads, thought I was due the 6th April, but I'm actually due 31st March, a whole week ahead. So instead of 13 weeks today, I'm 14 weeks tomorrow!

Great news @rosiejess91!

Annoying you have to go back but another chance to see your baby!

Hospital didn't do much in the end. Had an internal and external exam, including with a speculum. Cervix closed and no reason for the bleed they could see. Dr said given I wasn't in a lot of pain, cervix was closed and positive scans last week she wasn't overly concerned. I asked about a scan and she said she didn't think it would add much. I'm still feeling really unsettled by it (currently trying to force some lunch down but can barely stomach it!) so have booked a private scan for this afternoon. Feel a bit bad as it will be my 3rd scan in 9 days but think I need it for my mental health. The bleeding seems to have died down so hopefully it is just one of those things...

@RosieJess91 Fab that you moved forward a week, love that! Great that you get to see baby again on Monday, too!

@Workingmama1 I've been refreshing hoping you'd update. Sorry they wouldn't scan but glad you managed to get a private one for today to set your mind at ease. It does all sound like it's just one of those things - the checks they did all sound promising. Very much understand the need to know for sure though, I'd be the same! I've got my fingers crossed for you. Hope you don't have too long to wait xx

@ew1990 @Sakura54 thank you! It’ll be a miracle if I haven’t registered online by the end of the week 😂 I told myself I wouldn’t get my hopes up next time & would unattach myself from it, but soon as you see that BFP the obsession/love/future planning has commenced!

@RosieJess91 yey to your scan! And lovely you get to go back & see baby again.

@Workingmama1 all sounds very promising & like it’s ‘just one of those things’ - but I would’ve done the same as you & booked a private scan - no need to feel bad! Your mental health comes first. Keep us posted x

When did everyone start getting symptoms? I didn’t have many last time & can’t remember with DD (she’s almost 3.5 so a while ago). My left boob has had a weird niggle in it today but not sensitive (and definitely not the nipples), more like a weird twinge/nerve ‘pain’ - very odd?! I sneezed earlier & felt a weird twinge ‘pain’ to the right of my belly button. DH says I sneezed dramatically so I’m now panicking I’ve done something 😩

I did a terrible job at engaging with yall when I was here a couple weeks ago and I'm so so sorry. I was a trainwreck. Whoever decided the TWW would be fun, sucks. 😂 I got my positive though 4 weeks after my miscarriage. So now I can talk and get to know yall a bit better without feeling like an intruder. How far along is everyone?

Getting to the 12 week scan and finding out that im actually 14 weeks is even better! I missed an entire week of pregnancy!
Funnily enough my son's birthday is the 31st May, so it'll be funny if this one is born on the due date, fancy having 2 kids with the same birthday (different months obviously...)
Hope everything's going okay with the private scan, @Workingmama1, been thinking of you all day!
Congrats @stina85!

@Stina85 how random! 😂 Yes I’m trying to be hopeful too, coz surely it can’t happen to us twice?! But reading the stories of people’s multiple MC’s just terrifies me, really don’t think I’d cope if it happened again. Must try to save positive 🤯

@Starfish762 im not talking to anyone about it just in case. Not til after 12weeks. So I get it. I literally mc then got pregnant 2 weeks later. I started spotting is why I tested.... its tapered off but still gives me anxiety. I won't read the stories..... idk if I could handle it.

Scan showed baby looking fine and kicking around! But almost straight away she spotted an area of bleeding, said it was probably implantation bleed/hematoma. It's very odd they didn't spot it last week as its 3cm so not easy to miss. I asked her if it could have just appeared and she didn't seem convinced. But at least I have an explanation for the bleeding, although I may bleed again if it doesn't re-absorb. The sonographer took images of it for me so if I need to I can show it to my midwife/epu. Then she randomly said has anyone mention a bicornulate uterus to me? When I said no she went quiet and didn't mention it again...

It was nice as my husband could come and obviously the baby had changed so much from our 8 week scan.

Then randomly bumped into someone who is in the office on our way out, it was very awkward!

I've not worked at all today apart from checking emails, my boss knows and is lovely (and also a good friend). But she is leaving on Friday so now I have to tell my director as I'll be reporting into her for the foreseeable.

@Workingmama1 amazing news! I knew a private scan would be better! I’ve personally found the private ones much better and more informative than epu and epu seem hell bent on not having you in for a scan (just my experience and opinion). They told me after my mc I would be better looked after next time. This time I got one scan and they said Yh everything looks ok were discharging you! I was only 5/6 weeks preg, hows that looking after someone 😩 sorry they just drive me mad. I’m so glad you and baby are good and it’s exactly what I have. I’m eager to see Friday what mines up to as I’m still brown spotting like mixed with my discharge. X
