@Starfish762 OH and I decided not to DTD until we have our early scan on 31st (at 8+4) if all is ok. Having the brown discharge this morning has made me question if we should just wait till 12 weeks too!

@Pugprincess it probably is from that! Makes us super paranoid about every little thing.
The amount of loo roll I've gone through today is crazy!

@Lollol86 sorry I forgot to put due date thanks for reminding me, 17th April 😊 yes I’m 2 days further ahead on top of what I was ahead last time so it’s caught back up from that early epau scan when they measured it much smaller than what I thought.

We just got all the bags of unisex baby clothes out that friends bagged up for us years ago when we first started trying. Was lovely to look through.

Dtd wise not sure we will do it that often as it scares me but DH was getting really upset lol, he felt like we weren’t close anymore and I think that side of things plays a big part in that. He gets bad enough if we go a few weeks but this has been longer. It’s already getting awkward with my belly though 😅

Oh I have my 20 week scan date too. Monday 30th November at 3pm xx

@Pugprincess that's amazing. Does it feel like you can relax more now? Will you have a private scan before the 20 week?
We've not dtd at all since we got the positive, I'm too scared too xx

@pugprincess ahhh how cute. And a little dancer!!

I was really worried after my 12 week scan coz baby was curled up in a ball bit moving. Got a few stretches after some wriggling.

@skyblue20 18+3 for me today and I am starving!! Hip has eased off today. It still hurts and aches but nowhere near as bad has it did. I had to crawl upstairs it was that bad. I had a few wiggles and kicks so maybe it was lay in my pelvis and has moved away a bit now

@Starfish762 we refrained DTD before scan and tbh I still feel very nervous even though I know it’s likely fine. It’s so hard to have gone through a loss and not understand the reasons for it so I’m being the most cautious person in the world this time. I’m so envious of my pregnant friends who haven’t been through a MC and can be so much more relaxed.

@SkyBlue20 we had our extra scan this afternoon and sonographer was so lovely and basically did the anomaly checks (she sent us away with 56 images 🤯) and we had a cheeky look in mamas and papas afterwards at prams and car seats but won't order until Christmas i reckon 🥳 I've started feel nauseous again strangely but not sure if I'm just hungry some of the time x

@Pugprincess yay to another successful scan ❤️ I feel you about getting breathless, I need to get back into the gym. Scroll back to the latest list and add your new dates on, so exciting you have an official due date now x

On the sex front I think the thought of having to give it up after the baby was born put me off abstaining but some of the early weeks i was in bed by 8pm so there was no chance anyway 🙈 and totally understand not wanting to especially if spotting as it can aggravate things

@MSG92 - I was lucky enough to get pregnant after having a month off after miscarriage, then happened right away. I also used natural cycles which makes you measure basal temp, I used ovulation strips too, plus sticking the legs in the air after sex for a good ten mins ha! Good luck x

@Lollol86 I do feel better mentally to know I’m now in the second trimester etc. Definitely a big milestone passed. Let’s see how long I feel better for though 😅 yes I will definitely have at least one private scan between now and 20 weeks. Good luck for yours tomorrow! Is your partner allowed in? xxx

@Lollol86 oh no bless you, is he coming to wait outside? If so get him to walk you to the doors ❤️ I felt so breathless and heart pounding today. It was boiling in there too stripped down to my vest 🙈😂 everyone is putting heaters on now. Xx

I'm bleeding again. It's so stressful. Currently in epu waiting to see the doctor. They've said they'll probably scan me but not sure when, I might need to go home and come back. I'd just started to get over some of my anxiety after last time and now it's happening again. My heart rate was 120 when they measured it, I think as I'm so worked up. Trying to calm myself down, no cramps which is a good thing I think.

@Workingmama1 Sending love, hope you get seen soon and that all is ok - no cramps is definitely a good sign. Big hand hold xxx

@Pugprincess congratulations!! I’ve got breathlessness too, have had it since really early on, it’s so embarrassing at times 🙈

@Smilingdonkey Good to know you had a rough week 18 too (though not good you felt rough, of course) - I’m still waiting for this so-called second trimester glow/honeymoon period to kick in!

@Starfish762 we haven’t DTD since finding out we were pregnant and I’m 18 weeks! 🙈😬 we were waiting until after the 12 week scan as too nervous but now still nervous so maybe after the 20 week one. Luckily DH and I are on the same page but we’ll have to bite the bullet at some point otherwise it’ll be so long as I doubt I’ll want to rush in to it after birth!!

@ew1990 glad your hip is feeling a bit better!

@Poppy10121 totally with you in being envious of those who can be much more relaxed in their pregnancies - the MMC has just cast a shadow over this and any subsequent pregnancies I feel.

Thank you. Just got home. Cervix is closed, no infection markers in urine. Scan booked for tomorrow as no appointments today. Unfortunately despite opening up normal scans to partners, no partners allowed in epu scans still so will have to go alone. Not actively bleeding now though which is hopefully a good sign.

Unfortunately despite opening up normal scans to partners, no partners allowed in epu scans still so will have to go alone. Not actively bleeding now though which is hopefully a good sign.

Sounds really promising, hopefully it’s just one of those things. So frustrating your partner can’t go to the scan though. Hope it’s a nice early one tomorrow so not too long to wait. You really would think they’d keep a number of emergency scan appointments open, it’s not fair to make women wait a day to see if everything is ok, it’s so difficult emotionally! Xx
