Hi, I'm starting a new thread for all those mummas who conceived recently and will be due in May next year (2021)

I just found out I'm pregnant, estimated due date currently 11th May 2021

So excited!! Anyone else??

Is anyone first time mummas or is this baby #2, 3... ?? Xx

@wannabemum1989 me too! My lack of symptoms makes me worry. Apart from being more cranky than usual and back pain I don't really have any symptoms. I've had cramping for 2 weeks now pretty much. Hoping it's still early for us to feel pregnant though !

How far along are you?
I have yet to contact my doctors, I feel it's still early after having a chemical last time :(
All being well though I will be going for an early scan, the clinic I looked at allows a +1 to attend the appointment. Xx

@Amelia891 Im going to see whats happening with partners being allowed in. If they're not im going to book a private scan for when im on holiday which is 10 weeks so we can share the experience together

@wannabemum1989 same here with symptoms. I found out Monday and didnt even feel cramps until Thursday and they are very mild and intermittent mainly at night. I don't have much appetite and not sleeping much but think that's nerves and excitement more than anything x

I still haven't phoned the doctors oh my goodness lol! I think I'm close to 5 weeks now though so I might do it on Monday.

Symptoms for me are coming in fast and strong!! Back aches so much this morning thankfully my boy is still asleep because I need this lie in!

I really hope partners can come to scans very soon, my hubby is so sad that he might miss this one, he's offered to pay for a private scan, but we would have to wait a lot longer for that, as he wants to be there to find out the gender!! 🙈

Tests are still getting stronger every morning so looking very promising thankfully ☺️🤞🏼 xx

Congrats to you all! I found out I was pregnant with DC1 yesterday and have hardly slept as my brain is going crazy thinking everything through!!

My expected due date is 16th May 2021!

@Emmaemma23 5 weeks tomorrow so still very early days but I’m going on holiday for 2 weeks on Friday so by the time I’m back I will almost be 8 weeks so thought I might as well do it now whilst I have time.

I’m not having many symptoms. Last time the exhaustion and sickness didn’t kick in until week 6/7, so I’m really hoping it waits until I’m back from holiday 😅

Think I might book a private scan too at 8 weeks just for reassurance. 12 weeks just seems so far away!

I believe I am 5weeks 5 days according to last period but not sure I wrote date down correctly (the one time I don't....!).
Have been feeling some discomfort in the period type area but no other real symptoms as yet except back ache!
How are you? And everyone? Has it sunk in for you yet?
It hasn't for me, I'm still doubting the positives tests!

Hiy- just found out I'm expecting my second, currently 5+2 and due 8th May. A bit of a shock really as it wasn't planned.

I've had awful gas and bloating, very tired... but no nausea yet. I was quite sick last time so I'm dreading next week.

Has anyone else booked themselves a private early scan to check heartbeat, viability etc?

Congratulation to all new joiners. 5 weeks today so I've called the midwife to sort out my booking in appointment starting to sink in now

I had some cramps over weekend but seem to have worn off now. No other symptoms apart from being off food a little

@MyOwnSummer not booked a private scan yet. I think i will though as still not allowed partners in my area and would love to experience it together as its our first. I'll be 10 weeks when im on holiday so think ill book it for then x

Hi everyone!! So excited to have got my BFP today!! I, like many on here already have a 21 month old so second time around here. No real symptoms apart from a racy heart, (found out with my first through my Fitbit as my RHB was 91!! ) can't wait to be able to share all my excitement here as too soon to tell anyone yet!

Can I join? Found out this morning 1-2 weeks on the digital. Hoping it sticks! Will be our first and we have been trying since January

@whilstwewait I agree - think I'll go for a private scan in a couple of weeks time just for reassurance. Still can't believe my luck really!

@beanys yep. 21 month old here already, are you already thinking about how to tell them? I'm kinda worried my older kid will struggle with it, she will be 2.5 or thereabouts when the new one comes along!

Congratulations, it's my first baby this time, due 10th May. Didn't expect this to happen quickly to be honest. Looking forward to it though.

Anyone else feeling anxious? I was anxious last week when i got my BFP. Felt better over the weekend and now today I'm feeling really anxious. I think its because I don't actually feel anything and heard so many people get bad news. Last week I had cramps. I've maybe had a couple this week but hardly anything. Tempted to test again. I know if its dark I'll be reasurrred but if its lighter would rather not know. Actually praying for sickness 🙏 which I'll probably regret. Im 5w1 x

@Yas1993 congrats! I'm due May 20th which is the day before my best friends wedding where I'm supposed to be bridesmaid. Praying I can still attend

@lucymagoo is it your first? If so you should be able to go as you'll likely go over!

This time around I'm not telling anyone my due date (colleagues, friends etc) as I hated the last few weeks with everyone constantly asking me! So I'm just going to say End of May to them.

It's all so exciting and nerving all at the same time!! X

@beanys yes my first! I hope so, the only wedding I've ever been to is my own so I'm so excited for it that's a good idea, I might just do the same!

@MyOwnSummer aww December Babies! Looking forward to a spring baby this time round. Not sure how going to tell them, not for a while yet. Thinking of getting some books as I've seen a few good ones and my DS loves books! He's just started nursery this week so glad I will have got him in and settled before baby comes.

Hey ladies. I also found out I’m pregnant this week while on holiday. I’ll be 5W tomorrow. Due 12th May.
I hope all you ladies are well. I’m struggling with anxiety, feeling every niggle and pain. I have suffered two unsuccessful pregnancies previously, hoping this one goes well!

I am the same as you, barely any symptoms apart from every now and then bad headaches and tiredness.

Congrats to the newest ladies with bfps! I'm with a few of you on the anxiety - really nervous that I'm not really having much in the way of symptoms other than some cramps, which got to what I would describe as moderate a few days ago. Much better today though. Such a nerve wracking time isn't it! Hopefully it will get easier x

@Whilstwewait I feel exactly the same! No symptoms (aside form potentially some constipation) and not feeling 'pregnant'. I sort of want some kind of symptom to hit so I just know something is happening but I'll definitely regret that the minute I start to feel sick. I'm 5+2 today. I think 6w is when Ive heard a lot of symptoms ramp up so maybe we'll both get a dose of hormones at the weekend
