Hi, I'm starting a new thread for all those mummas who conceived recently and will be due in May next year (2021)

I just found out I'm pregnant, estimated due date currently 11th May 2021

So excited!! Anyone else??

Is anyone first time mummas or is this baby #2, 3... ?? Xx

@eternalflame2020 at my 28 week scan he was bang on the 50th centile, and at my 32 week and 34 week scan he has slowly gone down, I'll attach a picture of my chart. alot of people have said to me that it's happened to them/people they know and their estimated weights have been wrong and baby has been fine. I think because I'm a FTM with my first ever pregnancy it scared me and made me really worry but he is moving around really well in there!

Also my OH was 4lb10.5 when he was born and he was a week late! The estimated weight of our baby at my 34 week scan was 4lb9.

How’s everyone been?
I caught a cold and I’m feeling even more tired 😩
My toddler has had a cold for almost 3 weeks now, just over 2 weeks she was getting better but I think she caught it again from me. (Tested for Covid but it was negative thank god)
Currently 38+5, had my mw appt yesterday, everything seems fine, baby is head done but not engaged yet apparently. Wonder when he’ll be making an appearance 😬

@AyyX having a cold doesn't sound like much fun I've got really bad hayfever but I'm yet to find anything I can take while pregnant so sound like I have a permanent cold. I'm 36 weeks on Monday and hoping the baby has turned for my midwife appointment Tuesday they said he was breech at the last one and I don't much fancy them trying to turn him I don't really know what my options are if he doesn't.

Hopefully he won't keep you waiting to much longer - I'm getting impatient already

@4weekstogo I know!!! I’m so annoyed, throughout the pregnancy I was fine and now towards the end I catch a cold and I can’t even take anything for it!!! I’m hoping I get better before I give birth, I don’t want to have to struggle breathing while giving birth and also passing it onto new baby 😩
My midwife told me the baby was breech a couple of appointments ago too! Luckily he’s turned now because I really don’t want a c section. Also thanks 😊
Hopefully your hayfever goes away or calms down!

I'm 39+1 today and baby is still breech 😭 I'm booked in for a section on Friday next week but if he manages to turn before then they'll send me home and I'll be able to get my birthing pool birth instead. Please keep your fingers crossed for me Mumsnet mums!

So ready to meet my baby now! Had my cervical stitch removed last week so just a waiting game!! Had bad period pains today and feeling shattered hopefully it’s the start! 🤞🏼 It’s so hard not knowing how to feel when you go into labour, does anyone else feel like this?

@Kjw1992 I'm so nervous about confusing braxton hicks and actual labour. It doesn't help that I keep watching one born every minute because as well as finding it scary I'm so fascinated by child birth in general (it's not making me feel any better 😂)

@4weekstogo omg me too! And the labours on there seem soo quick haha. I defo feel like I have dropped this week, just trying to google all feelings/signs 😂

Hi! I ended up having my little girl on 20th April by c section after she stopped growing and her movements reduced. Oriana Penelope, 5lb11, 13:40. 😁

My little man was born by c-section on the 26th May as planned. He weighed 5lb 2. He's had many appointments since than due to a hole in his heart we didn't know about but he's doing very well all things considered. He's putting on lots of weight now that he's on special protein milk so will be a little chunk in no time.

@Chance2020 nothing could have prepared me for becoming a parent. Ori is my first and will likely be my only. She's started smiling and laughing at everything, she's starting to push up with her feet. She's just incredible. 🥰

@chance2020 I'm so sorry I've nt been on here in months. Had a beautiful healthy girl Felicity-Mae on 24th May. 9lbs.2ozs. How are you.

@Rascalia86 same here, 1 and done 😂 it's absolutely life changing and there's no manual 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 it's definitely getting a little easier, a little!
I had a little girl, she did end up in SCBU on a ventilator, she was swimming in 💩for god knows how long & had inhaled it inside me so when she was born she has oxygen levels of 46% but still came out screaming! She's ok and was out after 8 days. Born 15th May 7lb 15.

@Chance2020 mine inhaled meconium too and was put in NICU on antibiotics for a week! When he came out I was wondering why he was breathing so fast! He’s all well now, feeding well and gaining weight thankfully.
