Hi all!

Glad everyone is doing ok, and that’s so exciting to see the first scan pic! Currently on holiday and told my family on Friday and they are all over the moon. Had some mild/medium cramps last night and had a little cry getting myself worked up something bad was happening but feeling fine again today. Boobs aren’t quite as sore which makes me nervous but I know symptoms come and go so trying to not panic. Can’t wait to get home and have an early scan just to check everything is ok but also trying to not wish the holiday away!!

Afternoon everyone!

I got my BFP on Thursday putting me at an estimated due date of 19th May! This will be our rainbow baby after a MMC in 2018. We have really struggled to conceive and had stopped trying then this happened.

Congratulations to you all

mummabubs · 13/09/2020 16:36

@Amelia891 I completely understand, it's really hard not to read into things in those first 12 weeks. If it's of any comfort when I had my DS I had no symptoms whatsoever before my BFP, then even afterwards apart from the sickness that hit at around the 8 week mark I still had no other signs. I then had quite a large bleed at 8.5 weeks so assumed it was over but after a scan at the EPU everything was fine- the resulting 3 year old is literally jumping on top of me right now! Going into this pregnancy I'm very aware that there's no "right" way to experience symptoms so try not to panic if your boobs aren't sore! X

Happy Sunday everyone. I’m 5+5 today and did a pink dye test today - got a really strong line in seconds which was reassuring! When I did my first few tests at 4 weeks it was a really faint line so I feel much better seeing that hcg is going up.

Have you guys continued to take tests or am I mad?

Cafeaulait27 · 13/09/2020 17:22

@sakuramiyagi congrats, hope this pregnancy is trouble free for you.

This is my first pregnancy!

Cafeaulait27 · 13/09/2020 17:27

@LaGallinaLocaX love that scan!! I’m having a private one in a few weeks, I’ll be 7 weeks, can’t wait.

Symptoms wise I’m crampy and bloated, and is anyone else waking up in the night and can’t get back to sleep? And vivid dreams?

I’m also needing to pee a lot and having heart palpitations at times. My nipples feel a bit sore sometimes but not sure if I’m imagining it.

I also get a bit of pale pink blood after sex which is apparently normal and to do with the cervix changing or something? Although I feel so fragile I’ve been a bit scared of sex lately even though I know it can’t poke the baby!

Nannon145 · 14/09/2020 21:04

6 weeks and I’m feeling very tired all of the time, always thirsty but only had 1 day of feeling sick and that’s it. Is that normal? How’s everyone else feeling?

Rascalia86 · 15/09/2020 05:41

Im on week 6 now and I've not really had any sickness at all. Not everyone will get every symptom Grin

CatLady20 · 15/09/2020 16:29

I definitely feel like I had more symptoms last week! Just tired and boobs are so sore. TMI but is anyone else having watery discharge? @Cafeaulait27, I'm restless at night too, keep waking up for no reason, doesn't help the tiredness!

Jemmy94 · 15/09/2020 17:22

Helloo! Hope its okay for me to join! Im currently 6 weeks today and my due date prediction is 12th of May 🥰 I'm so excited! How is everyone doing with their symptoms, I'm feeling so rough!

mylittlebean2019 · 15/09/2020 21:27

Hello ladies! Just got my BFP with EDD 28th May. Still really early days as not due on until Thursday but did a FRER this morning which have a strong positive. This is my second with a 18 month DD. Is anyone here still breast feeding?

BabyDust13 · 16/09/2020 09:05

Hey ladies hope it's ok for me to tentatively join. I got my bfp this morning at 11dpo af due fri/sat so keeping all my fingers crossed

I think it makes me 4 weeks tomorrow with a due date of the 29th May roughly

Congratulations to you all

Moandy · 16/09/2020 13:19

I'm 5 weeks 3 days today. Feeling no symptoms at all - anyone else? After having hyperemesis with DS, I can't help but be a little paranoid!

Whilstwewait · 16/09/2020 16:56

@Moandy same here no symptoms really. I didn't have anything until end of last week when boobs started to be a bit sore but only on occasions. Im 6w2 now. No sickness no extreme tiredness. I've had spotty skin since ovulation that's it x

BabyDust13 · 16/09/2020 18:22

How reliable are the clear blue weeks indicator tests?

I'm just a bit confused with my result making me further along than I thought but also I didn't really know what was going on in my cycle because I had a d&c on 24th July and my periods hadn't got back to normal

I had what I thought was a period on 20 August but thinking about it it was more just spotting for a few days

Cafeaulait27 · 16/09/2020 18:33

@BabyDust13 hello ☺️ I haven’t done one of those tests so can’t really say, what was the result you got? Have you registered to start having midwife appointments?

Perhaps you could book an early scan to get a better idea of how far along you are? I have one booked for Monday, it was £75.

Cafeaulait27 · 16/09/2020 18:35

@Moandy Welcome! I’m not having any sickness or breast tenderness at all. I get cramps but don’t know if that’s just cos I’m thinking about it all the time, and have nightmares and not sleeping very well but they could be for other reasons too! I’m 6 weeks so I wonder if symptoms may come stronger later.

I felt really tired today and had a dizzy spell but not sure if it’s just the muggy weather.

Cafeaulait27 · 16/09/2020 18:36

Hello and congrats @Jemmy94! I’m due 11th May with first baby ☺️

Cafeaulait27 · 16/09/2020 18:37

@CatLady20 I was having milky thick discharge, but it’s now thin and clear and sticky... apparently it’s a good thing!!

Cafeaulait27 · 16/09/2020 18:38

Congratulations @sakuramiyagi ❤️❤️❤️

sakuramiyagi · 16/09/2020 18:43

I hope everyone is doing well Smile

I'm 5 weeks today and the breast tenderness and nausea has started to kick in.

Relieved to be WFH so I won't need to run to the office toilets every 10 mins or hide having a bottle of ginger water!

Does anyone have any other tips for alleviating nausea?

CatLady20 · 16/09/2020 18:55

@sakuramiyagi I'm in work at the minute and have to eat every couple of hours to keep the nausea at bay! So hard not telling anyone and trying to sneak the gingernut biscuits Grin

BabyDust13 · 16/09/2020 19:01

@Cafeaulait27 I think I might just of been doing some terrible maths my brains all over the place don't know whether to be excited or just panic 😂

I think I'll try and book one for around 7 weeks last time the baby stopped growing at 6 weeks so hopefully it will put my mind at rest a bit if all is ok x

Nannon145 · 16/09/2020 19:08

My private scan is booked for tomorrow. I’m so nervous! I could be anywhere from 6wks to 6+4 days so really worried it’s gonna be too early to see anything, I’ll understand if it is but really really want to see that little heartbeat.

I’ve had to book one earlier because I’m going away on Friday with my parents and sister and they’ll know something is up because I won’t be drinking x

BabyDust13 · 16/09/2020 19:16

@Nannon145 good luck I'm sure all will be fine it's amazing what you can see so early 🥰
