Welcome @Natty47 we share a due date (unless mine get moved at my scan!), also st George's day and Shakespeares birthday. How nice to skip ahead a few day too!

@Natty47 Congratulations! 🎊 How exciting that you're now further ahead. I haven't had my scan yet but we're currently due around the same date. How are you feeling? 💕

Thanks for the warm welcome @Parkandride and @LeopardLover! Nice to meet some similar EDD buddies on here! I’m not feeling too bad thanks - now the bulk of the first trimester is over I’m starting to feel a little more energetic and a bit less tired. Still eating for England though! How are you both getting on?

My scan this week was a private one which was part of the Harmony test. I haven’t got my bloods back yet but was super reassured that all the measurements were looking promising (I’m 39 so increased risk of probs) Nice to hopefully skip forward a bit too on the dates. Phew! x

@83Mimi that's fine I added you In 😆 @Parkandride totally understand I know most people have been waiting for there 12 weeks scans before joining that's fine hope everything is perfect for you. Xx

@Natty47 Glad you're starting to feel better 😊 Gosh, I am eating sooo much too! And constantly drinking water 😅 I'm still lacking energy so hoping that will pick up in the next week or so!

That's very positive about the measurements! I know of many mums older than you that have had perfectly healthy babies so fingers crossed all is well. I can't wait for my scan - we won't be telling anyone until post-scan/after the blood results come back, and keeping this secret is a challenge. Especially when the family is getting really excited about my SIL's pregnancy and I want to share our news too 😉x

Had my initial private scan on Tuesday. I am measuring 11+0 so she could just do the dating bit and a quick check that all looks well. She took bloods for harmony too, and then we’ll go back next week for another scan when she can do the proper Nuchal measurement and look in more detail.

She thought everything looked good though :)

@LeopardLover thanks 😊 next scan is on friday, they need at least a week for the harmony results to come back.

They said this to me, but I had the bloods on Monday Mir Jung and the results Thursday evening, so fingers cross your results are quick too!

Hi im due 21st april. Third baby but a 6 year gap. Got my scan next wednesday, feel so nervous, but i always do. Can i please be added to the Facebook page?

I had my scan on the 1st October and got my results through the post on 7th October. It states my chances of trisomy 18, 21/23 are less than 1 in 20,000. Looking at the letter, it was dated 2nd so seems the did the bloods straight away. I dunno why they give those time frames as I was worried something was wrong as the letter can so quick!
Is anyone else due around 10th April??xx

Had my scan and bloods Thursday and got my results today in post! Very impressed!

@GreySkyClouds we’ve got an appointment to go back and go through the harmony and Nuchal screening results and also have a more in depth scan too. Just cos of our history. I’m happier that way rather than waiting for a phone call or letter, earlier this year there was a lot of waiting for phone calls for screening results and it reminds me of a really difficult time.

Been so busy with worth this week my mind is distracted from waiting.

Will prob join fb group once I’ve got my results back. I have a fb group for my December 2016 baby and they’ve been brilliant. Look forward to getting to know you all better x

Its probably a little early but im looking for a good maternity coat. In previous pregnancy i looked 9 months pregnant at 4 months. Any recommendations.

@Drivingbuttercup no recommendations but I need to do the same. My regular winter coat no longer zips up me now 😂

Told our parents yesterday which was amazing, so nice to see their reactions. I was so nervous before for some reason! Would rather have had my 12 week scan before but it was MILs birthday so too good an opportunity to miss. Tried to tell them to keep it quiet but they immediately bumped into a friend in the restaurant we were in and told them

Scan tomorrow thank goodness, have most people got photos for free? The website said so but the appointment letter said to bring pound coins, don't want to miss out but I've not had any physical cash since the pandemic started!

@Parkandride sounds like mine too when I told them my dad immediately turned and told my SIL and his best friend and mum was like it's a secret not no more haha. Mine also said to bring money for photos but they gave me two for free so didn't end up paying but I brought the money just In Case. Best of luck tomorrow I bet your so excited.xx

@Parkandride Awwww, that's so lovely! It's really sweet how excited they are. 😊 Cash seems a bit strange during a pandemic! My letter said cash or card but hopefully you just get a freebie 😉 x
