Anyone 5 weeks pregnant? Want to keep in touch?

Hey so I'm 5 weeks pregnant! It's our first!

I feel kind of alone and lost because none of our friends or family know as we want to keep it a secret and I want someone to turn to to share my experience or ask questions.

Anyone fancy keeping touch on this thread?

I'm sick of googling stuff it just worries me lol x

Haven't had diarrhoea but bad wind loll like constant!!! Ha

Update: doctor gave me a line until next Friday. And has prescribed me anti sickness tablets 🙂

@Annie1211 aw that's good, can I ask.. what does a line mean?!

@JTB123 a sick line? It's if your off for several days doctor can sign you off work. Xx

@JTB123 haha that is the correct term, my work calls it a line haha!

My nausea was so bad last night was awful! This morning I have cramp 😩 is that normal? I'm too scared to google xx

@Annie1211 I haven't started with nausea yet but I just don't want to eat today nothing takes my fancy at all! 🥵😩 I wouldn't worry about cramps unless they're painful enough for you to think about nothing else! As long as you have no bleeding I wouldn't worry yourself x

@JTB123 yeah no bleeding at all, cramping comes and goes. It's manageable for now.

Your luck the nausea is awful 😔 it hits me afternoon right until I go to bed. Getting my medication tomorrow so fingers crossed x

I’m finding absolutely everything irrationally annoying today. I’ve got my scan to check for ectopic tomorrow though so I might just be nervous about that and a bit ratty.

I got a phone call from my midwife this afternoon who said my booking appointment on Monday is no longer over the phone and I can go in!
Sooo quite glad about that

@JTB123 I got my paperwork through yesterday and it said my appointment is to be at the hospital and I also thought it would be on the phone as sure the girl had said that when I booked my scan! Will you take your partner?

@chrissagcat I won't take him to the booking appointment as that's just family history, medical history and bloods etc I think but I'm
Allowed to take him to the 12 week scan which is great! Xx

Scan went well, they can see a sac and that puts me at about 5 weeks which correlated with my ovulation date even though by my LMP I’m 6 weeks :)

I’ve just got my letter through for my over the phone appointment next month - nervous as it’s during work time and don’t want to tell anyone yet.
Are the appointments changing back to face to face now then more often? Or are people having their first appointment just over the phone? X

How you all feeling my nausea has been awful! Every night!

Doctor gave me Cyclizine which did take my nausea away but I'm so worried as I've read all these post about people having crazy side effects like hallucinations which scares me. I need to stop reading so many posts.

Anyone else on This? Xxx

ADVICE PLEASE :
So I have very light period cramping and I went to toilet and there was red blood very light.

Phoned early pregnancy unit who advised to monitor and to only call back if it gets really heavy. And that they have no spaces for scans.

Do I pay for a private scan local tomorrow morning to put my mind at ease? Don't know what to do x
