Hey so I'm 5 weeks pregnant! It's our first!

I feel kind of alone and lost because none of our friends or family know as we want to keep it a secret and I want someone to turn to to share my experience or ask questions.

Anyone fancy keeping touch on this thread?

I'm sick of googling stuff it just worries me lol x

Thank you! And you all. Still can't believe it. Second month of TTC after coil removal. My sister gets married the day after my due date 🙈 I'm really anxious to tell her. Any advice welcome!

@Whatwouldyoudo22 that’s not silly at all, I was exactly the same with my second loss. I told no one but DH and it was a totally different experience.

I’ve just booked an early scan for next Saturday, I’ll be 6+2 but they have a policy where if they can’t see anything they’ll rescan you for free a couple of weeks later. I’m mainly concerned with knowing there’s development and the pregnancy is properly located, I’ve had some single side sharp pain which has been playing on my mind a bit. It was £70 but I’m hoping it makes me feel a bit better.

I know- it's going to be an awkward one. And DD is a flower girl. Ahhhhbhhh. Sore boobs and that's about it. Expecting the tiredness to kick in soon and a wave of nausea. You?

One sore nipple, on and off light nausea, heartburn, some tiredness and so much wind

With a second pregnancy you’re likely to deliver close to your due date too, could DH take DD?

@chrissagcat oh dear. Just bad timing I guess. How do you think she'll react? My sister is so self centred she'd be a nightmare in that situation but I hope yours is okay with it! It can't be helped.

Well seeing as she was really upset to hear I was pregnant the first two times because she hoped to be pregnant before me as the older sister- I'm not so sure 😫 neither can be helped! And we said let's not really try this month because it would be due around the wedding. Turns out I ovulated at a totally different time expected. Anyway will see how it goes in the next few weeks. Have you all booked in for scan?

@chrissagcat she sounds like a bit of a nightmare! My sister was also jealous as she’s older the first time but then I lost it and she was devastated. She’s been super supportive since and really excited today.

I’ve called the GP today since I’m in the recurrent early miscarriage bracket plus PCOS, so theyve said to get in touch as soon as I get a positive test. I’m booked in with the midwife on 20th august (7+7) and they’ll organise a 12 week scan for me, but if I have any reason to suspect things aren’t right I can call them before that to be referred to the EPU. In the meantime, I’ve booked a private scan for next Saturday (6+2) just to check for ectopic more than anything, I’ve had some sharp one sided pain and it’s bothering me a bit.

May I also join?

I'm 5+4, this will be our first and we're yet to tell anyone. no real symptoms at all.... two weeks ago I had really bad reflux and delayed digestion but that seems to have resolved... oh a few days ago I had quite a few sharp pulling sensations in my tummy which I'm putting down to things stretching?!?!

I'm yet to contact the midwives as you can't self refer here until 6 weeks plus I'm quite anxious so I don't want them to think I'm too full on 😂

I'm 6+4, got a viability scan on Sunday, I'm equal parts nervous, excited and nauseous! Congratulations everyone x

I’m 4 but can I join please? Just got all the positives this morning! I instantly felt sick nervous and have a bad tummy - pure anxiety! So happy but so scared at the same time. My partner is dying to be excited but I am just a bag of nerves and feel beyond anxious! Anyone else felt anything like this and did it go away? X

After 4 weeks of TTC!
Booking Appointment is 10th Aug and private 9wk scan is 22nd aug which is when we plan to tell our family! So hard seeing them and not saying anything but I need to see it's real and viable for myself before I tell family!

Sore boobs is my only symptom! I almost want alllllll of the symptoms so I know everything is leg 🤣

I will join you. I am 4 +3 . Just got my BFP on wed for DC 2. @KatieFH I’m the same! Nervous, excited and mind blown...and This is my second!! It’s just so abstract and unreal, and then also so life changing. 🤦‍♀️🤯🤣

I’ve started very light brown spotting the same way I did with my other miscarriages

 lets hope it's just implantation spotting, hoping for the best for you @Teapotdespot

Hey hope you don't mind me joining too. I'm 5 weeks pregnant had horrific nausea the past week boob incredibly sore today and can't stop peeing. I'm booking a private scan for about 12 days time to go see baby early. Anyone else doing this? I want DH to see baby so it's the only way

Oo I’ll join! I’m about 5 weeks according to Glow - I still can’t work out why they do it based off your last period.

Did an internet cheapie test on a whim on Thursday - left it and came back to a second line which was a bit of a shock

Posted it on here and did two more just to make sure!

Still doesn’t feel real, felt a bit nauseated for a week or so, but that’s not unusual in itself for me.

I haven’t told anyone apart from DH yet. We are abroad so it’s easier to keep it a secret from our parents.

I'm 5 coming into my 6th week now. This will be our first after a year of TTC.

Symptoms wise, my boobs are sore, lost my appetite, on off nausea and tiredness 😴. Still dont think we quite believe it yet.

I will definitely regret asking for morning sickness if and when I get it 🤣

@Tiff94 hi 👋🏻 we were chatting on conception threads, and bemoaning the arrival of AF!! We both got our BFP 🎉 I’m considering a private scan so husband can join but Havnt researched yet. I’m thinking I will wait till 12 weeks, as I don’t want to do that one on my own.

Totally @JTB123 😆here’s to some nice mild but definite symptoms we can enjoy 😉. Oh but you just want to feel pregnant straight away don’t you. Like, I want to feel kicks now! 🦵⚽️🥊🤣. No sooner has the BFP impatience been satisfied Than there is another kind lurking, but this is easier By far 😉
