Hey so I'm 5 weeks pregnant! It's our first!

I feel kind of alone and lost because none of our friends or family know as we want to keep it a secret and I want someone to turn to to share my experience or ask questions.

Anyone fancy keeping touch on this thread?

I'm sick of googling stuff it just worries me lol x

Congratulations all!

Currently 5+1 have already been to EPU for right sided pain. Been scanned once (and punctured for an unnecessary cannula) with another scan on Monday. All looks well but I called my GP for reassurance after cramp and he told me to get down to A&E . But all seemed well at last appointment so shall just enjoy it until I know otherwise.

So happy and excited. Got a BFP at 9 DPO but didn’t really need to take it I ‘just knew’. Plus my nipples gave it away.

I am 4 weeks, found out today!!! Very excited and very scared!!! Xxx

I’m 4 but can I join please? Just got all the positives this morning! I instantly felt sick nervous and have a bad tummy - pure anxiety! So happy but so scared at the same time. My partner is dying to be excited but I am just a bag of nerves and feel beyond anxious! Anyone else felt anything like this and did it go away? X

I exactly the same!!! My husband is so excited, which I am too... but I'm so scared something is going to go wrong, theSe next 8 weeks can't come quick enough!! Xx

How's everyone feeling this eve? I keep waiting for the sickness but nothing yet!

I have been having the worst stomach aches in the last week though! I don't know if it's because I've come off my diet and eaten worse and my body can't cope, or if it is just a symptom!

-Tiredness
-Breathlessness
-Bloating
-Wind!!!

I kinda want to book an early scan!! So unsure xx

@Springawake I feel like I haven't had a normal poo since I found out!! Probably because I'm eating like I'm eating for quadruplets 🤣🤣

@JTB123 omg my eating is terrible I've ate so much !!!

Also biggest symptom don't know how I Missed it- my nipples!!! Ahhhhh so raw and sore 😭

@Annie1211 that's literally the only symptom I've had!! My boobs are slightly sore but I can already see my nipples changing!! Burger nips in coming 🤣

Hi all, I'm 5+1 based on LMP though I think slightly earlier in reality as I ovulated later. Have one child age 3 and had a MMC in April. Feeling quite nervous this time around

@Bouncytree so happy for our BFPs I do remember just chatting with you last month. I've been told that DH Will not be able to come to any of my appointments until I'm in labour which I wasn't too happy with so that's why we going private so I can be reassured and he will get to see the first time.

Off to a and e, the pain in my side has gotten worse overnight and I’m still spotting brown, so 111 are sending me for assessment for suspected ectopic.

Hi Ladies, may I join in? I'm 4 weeks today so super early days but excited! This is our 3rd Baby, (aaah that looks so scary written down - 'Baby ' as opposed to pregnancy!) We have a DD who is 8 and a DS who is 7
Ive told my SIL & BIL as we were staying in a hotel overnight together and she said ' shall we talk about the elephant in the room? You're the one most fond of a drink and here you are with a fanta - anything you want to say?' so I was totally busted. No exciting annoucement there!
Not telling anyone else yet but we'll see how long we last.
I had early scans with my first two which were very reassuring. It enabled me to settle down and look forward to the 12 week scan as I'd already seen the heartbeat etc which is a really good sign of a viable pregnancy. One I went private for and the other I got my best friend to scan me as she's a sonographer which was helpful!

I had this, they gave me a trans vaginal ultrasound saw baby was where it should be and monitored my HCG levels via blood tests. I panicked when doctor said to get to A&E, try not to worry

Just an update, I’m in hospital, IV paracetamol and awaiting a scan

@KatieFH @Bouncytree I’m similar timings to you both 4+5!
This is my first and it’s taken about 7months (which I know isn’t long at all in comparison to others) but I’m just terrified something is going to go wrong! It’s all I can think about- just want to shake the feeling.

Hi all, they can’t see a sac on the scan either where it’s meant to be or where it’s not, but I still have a very thick womb lining Which is positive news. It could be ovulated super late and therefore I’m earlier than I think. They’ve taken blood and I’ll get my HCG levels shortly, if these are under 1500 that explains why nothing is seen on the scan.

In other news, current working theory is my pain is my appendix
