Anyone awaiting arrival of their baby?

Hi,

My baby is due next Wednesday 8th April. Is anyone awaiting there little bundle to arrive around the same time?

Also how you feeling about the virus at such an special time for us

@OddshoesOddsocks @Beanie1981 hoping one just comes to us we have been trying out names too and just nope nothing. I think I'd cry if I watched life and birth. Plus day 3 now not looking forward to the baby blues soon

I haven’t watched it either, I darent! Things like that make me cry at the best of times!

Abigail is beautiful @Beanie1981 😍 and a lovely connection to the nurse too! How is it going doing half and half? Are you expressing? I think my milk is coming in now, my boobs are pretty sore! She seems to do better from one than the other but maybe I just need to work on position. She’s just had a good feed so hopefully she’s good til the morning! (Wishful thinking there!!)

Hi everyone just thought I would update you all we had our little boy on Tuesday 28th April at 4:05am weighing 10lbs I ended up having assisted delivery forceps in the end but still only had gas and air as I have since been told my pelvis isn't wide enough to give birth naturally as my babies are all big they said, but am so in love with him we were home same day were all very tired and just trying to settle as a family of 4 now we called him Logan Alexander Sebastian Hall xx

Glad you’re home safe and it’s finally all over for you. It’s quite nice not being allowed out, no pressure to do anything or have anyone round!!

Wow, 10lbs! I bet he is adorably chunky. Mines 3 weeks today and has just got to the chunky stage and is very cute.

@Maggie90 omg that 3 weeks flew mine is a week today can't believe it. Are you getting much sleep at night? We finally decided on a name we have Blake Ollie.

I can’t say I’m getting a lot of sleep lol. I would probably say I’m getting about 4 hours in total but I seem to be surviving just about!!

It helps that he is absolutely adorable. I would say I’m much more ready to be a parent second time round but had completely forgotten how busy having a newborn is. Also, I worry more now I’m older which has surprised me.

How have you found your first week? Are you getting to the ‘I’m going to pass out if I don’t have sleep soon stage’?

@Maggie90 no we have been really lucky he goes down at 11 or 12 wakes about 9 with just one feed in between I do the night feed and my partner then gets up in the morning so it's working great atm. It is a mental house though with the other 3 in the house too. How's your other little one taken to the baby?
