Early Oct babies part 2!

Hi girls, hope I’ve started new thread correctly 😕

Having a hard day today. Woke up this morning and wiped after going to the loo and had a small amount of pinkish blood on the tissue. I then had a bit of brownish discharge but that has been it all day. I haven't had any cramps but my stomach feels tight and i'm paranoid i'm going to start gushing blood any minute. I phoned the community midwives and they have booked me into the EPU but it's not until monday. I've booked a private scan tomorrow because i can't wait that long to find out if this is all over. I thought i was feeling better last weekend and now i'm thinking whether things were starting to fade away. I had a little bit of spotting after sex the other week and wasn't concerned as i know that can be very normal but this has freaked me out and the midwife wasn't very positive either. We only saw the heartbeat 2 weeks ago, so scary to think everything might have changed already

@mssian93 Try and rest and take care of yourself, hopefully the spotting will be absolutely fine but I know you'll be going out your mind. What time is your scan?

@Quiffy thank you, it's at 10am so not long to wait, just hard not knowing, especially when the midwife basically said it's the start of me miscarrying.

@MsSian93 I'm sorry she wasnt very positive, can only hope she's wrong. Thankfully it's in the morning so you dont have all day to wait. Absolutely everything crossed for you!

Will pray that the midwife is totally wrong and you get a heartbeat at 10.01 tomorrow.

Thank you so much everyone. Had a tiny spot of brown on my pad and my tummy feels sore so I am not very hopeful. I know what will be will be and am going to get an early night and hope for the best x

Thank you so much everyone, it means a lot. No more blood but I feel like my stomach feels like it’s trying to have a period if that makes sense. Going in prepared for the worst so I hope it won’t hit too hard if it is bad news. I will report back later x

Quirky, don’t put unnecessary stress in yourself! I had my best friend coming over for tea on Tuesday past and was planning on telling her then as I don’t see her very often! However, I had a horrendous couple of days and therefore had to cancel 😔 I have her a call and told her over the phone, she was so happy! Maybe you should just opt for a group call? More personal that a message ☺️

Difficult one @Quiffy. If you can I'd go for option d, and hopefully it will lead to option a (but without the being sick). So go for a drink, tell them, if you feel ok stay, but if not go. Hopefully being out with your mates, and the fun of telling them might distract from the nausea.
If you feel so terrible you cant go out and have to cancel last min I'd tell them over WhatsApp and apologise.

Hi I'm a bit late but can I join this thread please? I'm due on the 1st Oct with a surprise 4th baby! It's just about sunk in now lol! I'm nauseous ALL the time which is different to my other 3 pregnancies and it's been a shock! I've never had a baby in my 30s and am now 36!! Hope everyone is feeling ok! x

@KelMcC I like Quirky hehe! @Spark27 Thanks ladies, I think I'll aim for option d and see where it goes. Hopefully the atmosphere distracts me from it! Will see if I can get through work without puking haha

@Troubledmummy3 welcome and congrats! That's interesting on the nausea - maybe a different gender if you have all boys or girls?

@MsSian93 I've had EXACTLY the same!! On the pains and discharge! Please try not to worry, my husband bought me a Doppler and it's amazing! I know the MW would tell me off as they don't like us relying on them but I've been able to find the heartbeat for about a week now! Although I know it's not unusual to not be able to find it before week 12 but I've been lucky and it's reassured me. My MW didn't believe me so I played her the recording and she said yes that's definitely the heartbeat. I'm 10+1 today. I'm not saying buy a Doppler lol I'm just saying I'm experiencing all of the same symptoms and my baby is fine. Keeping everything crossed for you xx

Hi everyone, I'm due 5th October! Feeling okay at the minute - just sore boobs and a little bit of nausea but otherwise okay. I've joined the main Oct 2020 thread as well but this one seems to move a little faster!

I have never been so relieved! Strong heartbeat and baby is measuring at 10 weeks 3 days, a few days ahead of me. Was wriggling around on the screen. She couldn’t see any signs of bleeding and I’m going to keep my epu appointment and see if they can see any trace of where it came from but I am so happy! Thank you for all your kind words and let’s hope I can relax for 5 minutes now!
