@Spark27 your dream 😂

Anyone else get random lower stomach pains ... ?

Quiffy · 04/03/2020 09:24

@Spark27 That dream!!! Yikes.

@EllieGolightly welcome and congrats! Glad the decision is out your hands, then you dont need to worry either way.

@zaalfruit Yes! I've been trying not to freak myself out. Not like AF cramps more like random electric shocks every so often that make me jump.

I think I might be getting a cold, which could explain why I've felt more rotten in the last few days. Hopefully it doesnt last long...

Treacle81 · 04/03/2020 11:09

@Zaalfruit did you think you were further on? That was a private scan I had, my NHS one is on the 31st. Yea I’ve started getting more stretching and cramping feelings again xx

Amazing, @Treacle81! So happy for you 💕

@Spark27 I thought I was meant to have my notes too but 🤷🏻‍♀️

Welcome, @EllieGolightly! Sorry to hear your trip was cancelled but at least it helps you with the decision making ☺️ Hopefully you’ll be able to go another time instead.

@spark27 that dream is enough to set up nausea for the next seven months! 😂🙈

SkyBlue20 · 04/03/2020 13:51

Feeling quite nauseous today - just went to buy some lunch and everything I looked at knocked me. Ended up with a salad that I’m struggling to eat - had a bag of ready salted crisps before it to try and settle my stomach but have only really managed half of it. All I seem to want at the mo are carbs and fruit but I must stop eating so much beige food and try to get more green! Going out for pasta tonight so that’ll appeal at least 😬

Daisythesnail · 04/03/2020 15:10

Hi
Please can I join this group, I’ve been following you for a while. I’m due Oct 3rd with my second baby.

I’ve been far more nauseous this time but nothing compared to what a lot of people on here are going through. Until yest.... I guess my question is do you think this is a bug or ‘morning sickness’ I know you’re unlikely to be medical experts!
I was staying with my sister 2 hours away from my house. I’d been really hungry so had had cereal then toast an hour or so later. Started feeling sick after the toast but just assumed pregnancy sickness. Felt sick all morn on walk to park and back. Ate lunch of 3 small pizza slices as I though it would help. Set off driving home. Instantly felt more sick... stopped to buy polos. Driving on motorway felt more and more sick until I started gagging. Was awful as there were roadworks, absolutely no where to pull off and no services for 23 miles. I covered my knees with a fleece in case I was sick. Finally I pulled in to services and was very sick in the car park. Had to keep driving to get myself and the little one home. Got really lost so my journey took 3 hours rather than 2.
Opened my front door and was instantly sick again and was sick every 15-30 mins for next 5 hours.
Today I feel really weak and still nauseous but haven’t been sick.
I’m scared this is pregnancy sickness and won’t go away for a few weeks/months but hoping it’s a bug as long as it doesn’t affect the bump.

This is long and rambling I know.

Sending you all love. These weeks are hard aren’t they when you feel rotten but no one knows you’re pregnant.

Has anyone else been really emotional?

Daisy x

Treacle81 · 04/03/2020 15:54

Welcome @Daisythesnail 💁‍♀️poor thing, that sounds awful! I’d of thought as you must be into your 9th wk morning sickness would have affected you by now? Maybe just a 24hr sickness bug? Not sure. As for emotions, mine seem to come and go but tbh not too bad xx

Spark27 · 04/03/2020 16:35

@Daisythesnail, that sounds horrid. I hope it's just a 24hr thing and you're better soon. That sounds pretty extreme otherwise, and like it hit really quickly.

Congrats on your pregnancy. How old is your other child? I've definitely felt more sick, and seem to be having more symptoms than I did during my first pregnancy. x

Daisythesnail · 04/03/2020 16:45

Thank you Treacle81 and Spark27

My first one is 15 months. How old is yours?

I’m new to forum use. I don’t know how to make your names bold so that you get a notification that I’ve mentioned you.

Also don’t know whether to reply or add a post.

Any forum tips appreciated!

Daisy xx

@Daisythesnail omg that sounds so Awful. I hope you feel better x if you still don’t feel well - call 111 x

@Treaclepie19 it was a scan from the nhs - I have been so unwell and in my ketone test I was coming up as dehydrated so they want to check that everything was alright .

@SkyBlue20 I haven’t eaten any greens in about 3/4 weeks my doctors said don’t worry to much as long as it’s not too much sugar as that can bring on other complications - my diet has been toast and salty popcorn everything else makes me gag.

Treaclepie19 · 04/03/2020 17:17

Hi ladies. Had my scan today and all went well. Measuring 9+3 so exactly on my dates and wriggling away.
Got our dating scan booked for 1st April and just need to hope the nuchal measurement is okay 🤞

KelMcC · 04/03/2020 17:18

Back to work today after 2 days off sick! Felt good to get back, but back to normal evening routine - home, dinner, bed! Can’t shake the tiredness 🙃
First midwife appointment on Friday and then scan on 31st. Had a 8 week scan at IVF clinic last week and baby has got a strong heartbeat and growing as he/she should ☺️

@Treaclepie81, so cute. Excellent pic.

@Daisythesnail, my DD is 2.5yrs. The current EDD for this one is her birthday Shock Hoping that doesn't happen. Although could save a lot with joint birthday parties in the future!

Spark27 · 04/03/2020 17:39

Sorry, that was to @Treaclepie19. I mixed 2 names up!

Zaalfruit · 04/03/2020 18:58

@Treaclepie19 ahhh that’s so cute xx 😆

bluemoon2468 · 04/03/2020 19:12

Hi just found the second thread 🙌🏻 how you all doing?

Quiffy · 04/03/2020 20:17

I thought I'd turned a corner on sickness, but spend the afternoon projectile vomiting. Really hope my body isn't just used to the anti sickness meds. Don't think I can even stomach my folic acid 😭😭

@Treaclepie19 gorgeous photo!

Treacle81 · 04/03/2020 20:51

Adorable 🥰 @Treaclepie19. Oh @KelMcC we’re scan twins! @Quiffy & @Daisythesnail hope you feel better soon and welcome back @bluemoon2468 💁‍♀️ xx

bluemoon2468 · 05/03/2020 06:04

Is anyone else's sickness starting to die down a bit? I'm 9+3 today and for the last 3 mornings I haven't actually vomited (I'm on medication for sickness, but even with that I was still sick every morning). I'm still feeling nauseous all day but I do feel like it's a bit better. Obvs after wishing it away for so long now I'm panicking there's something wrong 🙈 Hoping I've just gone past the peak and am on the home run. Boobs are still very sore with no let up.

bluemoon2468 · 05/03/2020 06:11

Obvs just went on a Google search at 6am to calm myself down haha. According to this study the peak was weeks 7-9 so as I'm in week 10 it's probably totally normal for things to be calming down a bit 👍🏻
