Hello ladies,

Early days, due my period today and had a BFP since DPO11. It is progressing and my period hasn't arrived so I'm hoping this is a sticky baby! Anyone else recently this week got their BFP? Be nice to have a little group going x

BFP - Anyone else due February 2020?
HannahMitchell14 · 29/05/2019 20:52

Hi all, hope it's okay if I join. I am due end of January/ start of February. (Not sure when cause I got pregnant after having he implanon out and didn't have AF).
Took about a million tests because I honestly didn't believe it or thought it would happen so quickly no matter how much I wanted it too.
I have been so tired tho. Like I sit down for a min and want to fall asleep for a week. Plus I got heart burn the last two mornings. I have a ds already. 19months. I don't remember being this way so soon with him.
Mainly tho I have been worried tonight because I have been having pinching cramps. No bleeding so hoping it's nothing.

L00byL0u · 29/05/2019 21:10

@HannahMitchell14 I'm the same I came off the pill and didn't have AF and still can't believe I'm pregnancy so quickly. I've had cramps on and off for over a week. It is a bit worrying. My GP told me it's normal but sometimes they are so bad I have to stop everything I'm doing and wait for it to pass.

Congratulations though so exciting!

HannahMitchell14 · 29/05/2019 21:49

@L00byL0u congrats to u too huni! I know it's crazy exciting! We are both so lucky.
I am like that too. I was walking to the shops earlier today and had to stop for a minute to let the cramps calm down. Hope they stop soon. Pleased ur gp said it was nothing. Might give mine a few weeks and hope they go away.
When are u due? That's amazing u got ur BFP after coming off the pill so soon cause I heard it takes a while. Brilliant. :)

L00byL0u · 29/05/2019 21:56

@HannahMitchell14 yea I thought it was my IBS but she said cramps are normal and I'm probably constipated to. They just go on for 20 mins sometimes before I can move which happened at work the other day.

I'm due 2nd feb. I know it's so fast I still can't believe it, keep doing pregnancy tests to check. I'd read to it can't take 3 months so I do feel lucky if rather it be this way than worry down the line. Just keeping fingers crossed that all is fine and stays that way.

Charlotte9876 · 30/05/2019 17:04

Hi all, just to update unfortunately the bleeding has carried on, still not heavy so I was holding on to some hope but then just before bed last night a strange glob (sorry - far tmi!) came out, and this morning I only had a very faint line on a test (and the bleeding continues - when will it end?). So I guess that's that. I don't know if that's classes as a chemical pregnancy or a miscarriage, as today I'd be 21 DPO. Either way, it sucks.

On that negative note however I wish you all the very best with your pregnancies - hopefully I am the statistical "1in 5" and the rest of you will have healthy babies in 8 months time 😚

muddypuddlejumping · 30/05/2019 17:49

@Charlotte9876 I'm so sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself.

tisonlymeagain · 30/05/2019 18:25

So sorry to hear this @Charlotte9876 hope you're okay x And so lovely of you to wish everyone well when you're experiencing your own sadness.

Hopex92 · 30/05/2019 21:46

Hi all. I got a positive result on Saturday there. If going by last Period I'd be 4 or 5 weeks however due to my irregular cycles and pcos I reckon I'm around 3 weeks max. So due Feb! Terrified as its took us 2 years and me losing 50 lbs meant I didn't need doctors help. I've cramps nearly all the time but, not sevre just like stomach is stretching, and wind pains, and sorry for to much information but badly constipated. Also feel full really quick and feel sick after eating meals. Hope this is all almost normal. So nervous waiting on first scan which could be July!

HannahMitchell14 · 31/05/2019 09:54

I'm am so sorry to hear that @Charlotte9876 ! Rest, let it all out, take it as easy as u can and know that we are all thinking of u.

tisonlymeagain · 31/05/2019 10:31

Hi @Hopex92 congrats!

Anyone feeling any new symptoms yet? I have waves of feeling a little yucky, more so when I'm tired - I could sleep for England at the money and my appetite is a little off but apart from the sore boobs still that's it along with some light cramping.

Time seems to be going so slowly. I'm on higher dose folic acid now and have self-referred to community midwives, I expect I'll hear from them sometime next week.

EllieJaye · 31/05/2019 11:23

Congratulations to everyone.

Tentatively joining this group as I got a BPF this morning on the day my period was due. So due 7th February.

I have been trying for #3 for 4 years and have suffered 2 miscarriages in that time.

I'm terrified!!

RebootYourEngine · 31/05/2019 15:50

So sorry to hear this @Charlotte9876 hopefully things work out for you.

I have had a few cramps this week. I am also so hungry and tired. However the tiredness is probably from work.

turquoisebaby · 31/05/2019 16:19

Congrats to everyone!

@charm23 I have retested today, clearblue puts my at 1-2 weeks.

@tisonlymeagain
This pregnancy is already so different from my first, I'm so tired and hot. Last time I had awful morning sickness so maybe I'll skip that this time (wishful thinking). I've also been having mild heartburn which I'm sure wasn't happening until 3rd trimester last time. Its all so different and new again. Anyone else have any symptoms?

Charm23 · 31/05/2019 16:48

@Charlotte9876 So so sorry to hear of your loss hun. Take care of yourself and hope you have happier news soon xx

muddypuddlejumping · 31/05/2019 18:26

@turquoisebaby @tisonlymeagain I'm feeling tired at the moment and seem to have burrowing feelings still today at 5 weeks. Boobs are sore, especially at night which I remember from last time and a bit off certain foods. Overall though I don't feel much different. I'm now feeling desperate for more sickness so it feels more real but last time I didn't get it until week 6 or 7. Totally agree that time is going slowly though!

Anyone else very bloated?? It's looking like a small bump already (which I know is just bloating) but it means I can't get in some of my jeans already 🙈

HannahMitchell14 · 31/05/2019 22:25

Sounds like everybody is feeling roughly the same as me.
Tired,
Vaguely sick,
Some foods don't hold the same appeal.
But I am also craving carbs. Like I will got from feeling a bit sick to starving and wanting to eat all the bread to needing to take a serious nap. lol. I have also gotten a bit of heart burn already which has shocked me because with my first I didn't get it till second tri. Guess the pregnancy will be just as different as the child will.

TwistofFate · 01/06/2019 07:49

Hey all, can I join in? I got my first bfp on Wednesday after 2 years ttc. I'm really scared it won't stick and have had a few symptoms (sore boobs, cramping, needing the toilet more and some wind/constipation) but they come and go which makes me nervous. Confused

ViolaD77 · 01/06/2019 11:21

Hi all, I tested positive yesterday at 18 days PO. Natural conception after 2 failed icsi ivf attempts.... Its still not sunk in... My due date predictor says 4th Feb 2020 but yet to do to the Dr's.... First pregnancy... I'm high risk miscarriage so I'm not celebrating just yet., congrats all xxx

Charm23 · 01/06/2019 18:05

@TwistofFate and @ViolaD77 Welcome and congratulations on your BFPs :)

tisonlymeagain · 01/06/2019 18:51

Big hello to all the newcomers! Just catching up, have had a lazy day. Been to the pub in the sunshine and had a lemonade…ha!

@EllieJaye Congrats. I think we’re all terrified, but it must be much harder if you’ve experienced a loss. Hugs to you and fingers crossed!

@RebootYourEngine I’m at the weird stage where I can’t decide if I am hungry, tired, feeling sick or a combo of all the above!

@turquoisebaby I didn’t ever have any sickness in previous pregnancies. I felt it but never actually threw up so here’s hoping it will be the same!

@muddypuddlejumping I know what you mean, I would like to feel some more symptoms or sickness to make it feel real as today apart from sore boobs I feel just the same!

@HannahMitchell14 I always crave carbs ha! You’re right though, every pregnancy is different. First one I couldn’t even look at chicken - even after she was born but second one I wanted ALL the spicy chicken!

@TwistofFate Hello, and congrats! I bet it feels surreal after TTC for so long? Your symptoms sound just like mine.

@ViolaD77 Tentative congratulations, I can understand your trepidation. Hopefully this is a sticky one for you!

amiejb25 · 01/06/2019 23:26

Hello,
Am currently around 4 weeks with first baby, with due date estimated 6th Feb. Recently had an early miscarriage so feeling very anxious but excited happy to be able to talk to others going through the same things at the same time!

HannahMitchell14 · 02/06/2019 07:41

@amiejb25 congrats hun. Fingers crossed all goes well!

Has anybody made doctor/midwife appointments yet? I think I am roughly 5 and a half weeks. Seems a bit early tho but I don't know when too.

tisonlymeagain · 02/06/2019 08:57

@HannahMitchell14 I've filled in the self-referral and then the community midwives will contact me at some point. I think it says booking appointment will be between 8-10 weeks.

Been to GP but just to get higher dose folic acid.

Littlegoth · 02/06/2019 09:49

Hi all! I’m due 5th feb according to online calculator. No other children, and 2 recent mcs so I have an early appointment with my midwife where hopefully I’ll be able to book me for a reassurance scan. Fingers crossed I’ll be sticking around on this thread 😄
