@EltzBee 4th November, but we have many busy months with holidays/weddings! And my baby shower will be the first week of September so wanted it all done before then... also the clutter!! It's bad enough now and we don't have a lot of stuff. I just can't stand seeing clutter 😫. It's a local company they said mamas and papas have moved factory so it's now 15 weeks Instead of the 6 I got told when I ordered. Not a lot I can do but I said it literally can't be any later then mid August because I want it all done before my baby shower absolute latest. Thankyou! I know writing it down it sounds silly but it is annoying when I purposely ordered it all at like 14 weeks so I had plenty of time! The massage sounds lovely, I think we are all going for a spa day August time I can't wait to have a pregnancy massage :) x

EltzBee · 17/05/2019 10:36

@MrsC87 definitely do! Also take a carrier bag/back-pack to put freebies in to save you lugging it all around :D

That's good that your levels are getting where they are meant to be. What kind of diet are you following? That's always a nice perk to be losing weight :D I'm now over what I was pre-pregnancy after I lost loads through sickness, I'm not sure if that's good or not lol! I've been trying to eat reasonably healthy most of the time, but y'know, ice cream...

MrsC87 · 17/05/2019 10:59

So you have to cut all sugar out, and only have a small amount of carb with each meal. So lots of protein, veg, and surprisingly fat! So I can have a small portion of strawberries as long as with clotted cream 😍 or a jacket potato with Tuna/or chilli and loads and loads of cheese! I have cheese with near enough everything lol! But it's working so will probably follow the diet once baby is here- however I've said to hubby the first night be are out I'm ordering pizza takeaway- I miss pizza 😍😔
I'm only losing weight because of the diet so don't worry about it, as long as you don't go mad, weight gain is normal!
Enjoy an ice cream for me 😘 @EltzBee

EltzBee · 17/05/2019 11:29

That sounds alright to be fair then @MrsC87. I'm veggie so think I'd find it a bit harder... Except the cheese, I love cheese lately hehe.

MrsR16 · 17/05/2019 13:28

@ChaosMoon it really was amazing telling more people! 😊 not restricted to just talking about it with DH and parents now! I'm the last one on my side to have children so can use my sisters for a lot of advice.

@thumper59 it really is amazing! 😄

EltzBee · 17/05/2019 13:38

@MrsR16 aw glad you're able to talk to more people now, that must be lovely :)

I just had to go pop to the shop across the road from the office to buy a block of cheese so I could have some for lunch Grin

MrsR16 · 17/05/2019 13:55

@EltzBee that just made me giggle! 😂 I do love cheese normally but I'm not a huge fan at the moment...

Delilah7 · 17/05/2019 17:36

Well I have an update.
They've found something. They think I have Lupus.
Ethan's heart is possibly at risk, so I have to go London for a heart echo as my local specialist hospital can't fit me in. I have to have growth scans every two weeks, CTG and bloods every week. Have two more appointments to sort with certain places within the hospital and I could very much so be meeting him from 37 weeks upwards! ALOT to take in and in mentally and physically exhausted. 😔 xx

BostonFern · 17/05/2019 18:38

@Delilah7 I'm sorry you're going through such a stressful time, it sounds like the hospital are making all the right referrals though. Xx

Delilah7 · 17/05/2019 18:44

@BostonFern I finally feel like we have an answer. Not an amazing one but Atleast they've found something xx

BostonFern · 17/05/2019 18:49

I empathise, I had years of health problems which consultants struggled to diagnose, then one day (thanks to advances in diagnostic techniques) we finally got an answer- finally knowing what it was, and that we could finally move forward with appropriate treatments was such a relief.

Delilah7 · 17/05/2019 19:02

@BostonFern that's how I feel. Especially if his heart is actually all ok I'll feel much more relieved then xx

BostonFern · 17/05/2019 19:15

Got everything crossed for you @Delilah7 x

We had a scan this evening, baby was moving about all over the place, poor consultant would try to get a still image to take measurements, or try to get the heartbeat and baby would move! We got there in the end though, and it was lovely to see him so active and having grown so much in such a short period of time. Here's a few photos (12+3 today):

Hello ladies! I use fairy non bio already and @delilah7 we use that comfort fabric conditioner too! We will continue to use it for baby's stuff too.
I'm probably going to wait to wash stuff until I think we've got everything we need, so I can wash it all together. And put furniture doesn't come til the 21st June so won't be able to put it away til then anyway, so it's staying in bags.

Well I have officially entered trimester 3 at 28 weeks today, cue hardly slept, peed about 5 times in the night and was feeling huuuge today! The good news is, this is my last 5 day week for over a year!! Start winding down to 4 days then 3 days in June /July. Can't wait! I think I've already mentally checked out of work lol.

What's everyone up to this weekend?

OP posts:
MrsR16 · 17/05/2019 19:24

@Delilah7 at least you've got an answer! I can imagine it's a huge amount to take in... but you could meet Ethan real soon!! Thinking of you hun xx

@BostonFern amazing scan pictures!!! I literally can't wait for mine! Xx

@Crossfitgirl oh wow, third trimester? Only seems like 2 mins ago you got your BFP! Xx

Crossfitgirl · 17/05/2019 20:08

@delilah7 that all sounds like such a lot, I hope you're doing OK. At least they are onto something and you're getting all the right care. Lupus runs in DHs side of the family, his grandma had it and so does his mum but its really treatable these days. Does it run in your family?
@mrsr16 I know, it's gone scarily fast... Eek! I'm so excited though!
@bostonfern aww lovely scan pics! Do you think you'll find out the sex at the next one? Xx

OP posts:
Delilah7 · 17/05/2019 20:10

@BostonFern exactly. Might see my baby sooner than we thought! Xx

@Crossfitgirl nope no one has it in my family just me the odd one out 😂 xx

BostonFern · 17/05/2019 20:36

Thank you @Crossfitgirl and @MrsR16 🙂 @Crossfitgirl we already know it's a boy, we got our NIPT test results back at the start of the week 💙 Can't believe you're in the third trimester already! Not long to mat leave either, it'll be more than well deserved by the time you get there!

EltzBee · 17/05/2019 20:50

@MrsR16 glad it made you laugh 🤪

@Delilah7 my MIL has lupus and manages it, hopefully if it is that knowing what it is will help a lot!

@BostonFern aw lovely scan pic :)

@Crossfitgirl congrats on 3rd trimester! That's gone quick. Wow that's exciting about work starting to wind down. I'm working full time through to 16th August, then two weeks holiday til my due date on the 30th. It feels like ages away! I'm trying to keep leave back to use next year to help the finances.

BostonFern · 17/05/2019 21:27

Thank you @EltzBee

Delilah7 · 17/05/2019 21:28

@EltzBee I hope so!

stormtrooperjulian · 19/05/2019 04:54

@MrsC87 good news that your levels are settling down. I think I’d struggle with a low carb diet, particularly as I’m veggie.

@Delilah7 must be nice finally having some answers, and things should start moving quickly now with treatment etc for you so that’s good.

@BostonFern lovely scan photos! Are you planning a big announcement or anything now you’ve got to 12 weeks?

@Crossfitgirl congrats on the third trimester, the end is in sight now!

I’m having a lovely holiday so far, we’re having a lazy day by the pool today so I’m catching up on everything I’ve missed. We went to a great little Mexican restaurant for dinner last night, I was kinda sad that I couldn’t have a margarita with my dinner though, it’s the first time that the no alcohol thing has bothered me at all. I’m not a huge drinker, but I do love a margarita!

Delilah7 · 19/05/2019 07:23

@stormtrooperjulian it is just abit concerning as I don't know tons about it! Glad you're having a nice holiday!! X

DayDreamer1707 · 19/05/2019 07:38

Good morning ladies...hope you don't mind it I join. I was on the TTC first baby threads. Finally got my BFP. Still doesn't seem really!! Its so nice to see some familiar names on here!

@CobaltRose96 Scarlett is gorgeous! I bet the smiles are incredible.

@Bettyhop Congratulations on your baby boy and well done for managing your super speedy labour!

@ChaosMoon Glad your little girl's tongue tie snip went well and she didn't hold a grudge over it :) Really good news that she's feeding better.

@EltzBee so exciting your nursery furniture has arrived! Can't wait to get to that point.

@thumper59 Stop being so organised ordering furniture, I'm due two days after you and you're putting me to shame Grin what set did you go for?

@Delilah7 Poor you, it's one thing after another. But pleased they seem to have found what's wrong and can keep a good eye on you and Ethan. How are you feeling?

@BostonFern Lovely scan photo! Congrats ☺️
