@TrashKitten10 exhausted from it all tbh 😔 how are you xx

thumper59 · 19/05/2019 10:20

@DayDreamer1707 congratulations!!

@TrashKitten10 my pram is ordered too 🙄😂. I went for the mamas and papas Mia set! I am very boring. All whites and greys 😂 it's like our bedroom furniture style so I really haven't pushed the boat out and suddenly got an exciting style 😂😂. I'm thinking it's a good job I ordered it early now if they're messing about and saying it's 15 weeks delivery! But yes, I am painfully organised. We are doing a gender reveal party/bbq ( I know people don't like them! But I do- I am one of these who would over celebrate everything 😂) it's only family, at first I said we'd just do a bbq and get a balloon or something so everyone can find out together, now I have ordered little blue and pink plates and gender reveal confetti for the table. I even make myself cringe 🙄😂 xx

MrsC87 · 19/05/2019 11:49

Congrats @DayDreamer1707 welcome!
💙💗
@thumper59 I did a low key gender reveal for my two nieces, used the confetti cannons and they were good! You have every right to be excited it's such a special time!
@stormtrooperjulian I don't drink much but I can't wait for a dominoes pizza and a Prosecco the night we come home with our baby boy! 😆 glad you are enjoying your hols!
So I know @Delilah7 has chosen Ethan for her baby, lovely name! But has anyone else settled on a name? I keep changing my mind lol xx

thumper59 · 19/05/2019 12:05

@MrsC87 aw that sounds great! Well I think so, I love celebrating everything and nothing! 😂 i don't see the issue, causes nobody any harm! I've got a boys and girls name I love. But I know OH isn't keen on the boys at all, and the girls I'm trying to win him round with 😂 for a boy i love Rudy but OH doesn't, girl I absolutely love love Nellie. How about you do you have any ideas?

DayDreamer1707 · 19/05/2019 12:11

Thanks all for the lovely welcome! I'm so excited but sometimes don't want to get to excited either!! Still extremely early at just over 4 weeks x

I love reading about what everyone has planned for the beautiful babies 😊. I can see that this is already such a positive thread 😘

Fivebyfive2 · 19/05/2019 13:22

@DayDreamer1707, hi hun, great to see you on here! I know what you mean about the excitement, I'm 6 weeks, due around 11th Jan I think. Trying to tread that line between being positive and not carried away, it's sooo hard!! Xx

DayDreamer1707 · 19/05/2019 15:23

@Fivebyfive2 oh we're quite close, my app says I'm due 24th of Jan. I totally agree, I want to get excited and be positive but after last time I don't want to get carried away. Xx

Crossfitgirl · 19/05/2019 15:39

@thumper59 you would be horrified at the state of our house if you don't like clutter haha. The nursery is housing all the stuff we need to sell /get rid of or go in the loft, as well as half the baby stuff. Our mamas and papas delivery is taking ages too, we ordered pram, 5pc furniture set, crib, car seats and bases on Easter weekend and it's coming 21st June!! The day before my baby shower 😱 I will assemble the pram but I don't think DH will get the furniture up in just one evening unfortunately, although it would have been nice. I'm SO excited for it though!

@mrsc87 I'm so with you on the pizza and prosecco for baby's homecoming!
I think we have pretty much settled on Olivia for our little girl, I also love Liv for short. We were a bit wary as it was the most popular girls name last year I think, but we both love it and agree on it and havent got any others we like better so 🤷‍♀️ just hope there's not loads of other Olivias! Haha.

@thumper59 Nellie is cute. I love all the oldie names coming back in. My friends just called her baby Ivy Rose. I love it!

@daydreamer1707 welcome! have you got much in the way of symptoms yet? Aww I remember finding out at like 3+5. It felt so surreal but so exciting, I struggled to hold back and not tell anyone!

@stormtrooperjulian glad you're having a great holiday. We're going to Cornwall in about 3 weeks... And I've bitten the bullet and decided to take a hospital bag with me just in case! Eeeek!

@delilah7 when will you be 37 weeks? June /July? Ahhh little Ethan could be here!!!!

DayDreamer1707 · 19/05/2019 15:45

@Crossfitgirl Sore boobs and off to the loo all the time, also my boobs are changing. I just had a feeling I was pregnant and originally tested with ICs thinking they would be negative to get the thought out my head. But it was extremely positive but we kept saying we'd wait till I'm late and then do a frer, which again was so strong, so hoping all is a good sign. How far are you? X

Crossfitgirl · 19/05/2019 15:57

@daydreamer1707 that's really good that it's a v strong line, mine was super faint but I did another test a week later which was much stronger. I remember my boobs being so sore, and the peeing, I had an incredible thirst too. I'm 28 weeks now, my boobs are changing in other ways! I've nearly grown out of my second lot of bigger bras, (highly recommend getting cheap ones from primark when you get bigger as you'll need to keep going up sizes) and although I've not noticed it on my actual nipples, I have noticed a teeny weeny dark patch in my bra where my nipples sit. I'm thinking milk???? Been and got some breast pads anyway!! Lol x

DayDreamer1707 · 19/05/2019 16:03

@Crossfitgirl 28 weeks that's sooo exciting! I just want to have a scan so I know things will be ok this time. My line came up before the test line it was that strong so fx it's all good. Can't beat primark for underwear! Must be milk, all going good for your which is lovely to hear 😘

Delilah7 · 19/05/2019 16:16

@Crossfitgirl 21st June!!!! Xx

Tropicana1 · 19/05/2019 16:38

@Delilah7 so sorry to hear about your Lupus, but at least now you have a diagnosis hopefully they can start making the rest of your pregnancy better!

@DayDreamer1707 congratulations!

@Fivebyfive2 right there with you on the not getting carried away thing. We had our 6 week scan and saw a heartbeat which is great! Now just a tense time till the 12 week scan. Got my booking appointment on the 5th of June! My EDD is currently 8th of Jan but I think it will get moved back at the scan as I ov late in my cycle

Delilah7 · 19/05/2019 16:45

@Tropicana1 thank you! Xxx

Fivebyfive2 · 19/05/2019 17:06

@Tropicana1, hi sweet! So glad to hear your scan went well xx How are you feeling? My booking apt is 3rd June so we're very much timing buddies 🙂

MrsR16 · 19/05/2019 18:30

I've had my scan date through! Bang on 12 weeks on 12th June! 3 and a half long weeks to wait... 😊

It's great to see everyone's getting on really well! @DayDreamer1707 your test looks just like mine did! 😂

thumper59 · 19/05/2019 21:27

@Crossfitgirl ivy rose is gorgeous! Olivia is a lovely name. My little cousin is called Olivia and I always say how Liv is one of my fave nick names.

Oh our nursery room is currently clutter city too! I've took to just closing the door 😀 aw I bet your excited I would be! Which furniture and pram did you go for? I've got the bedding, furniture and pram on order from mamas and papas x

DayDreamer1707 · 20/05/2019 07:30

@MrsR16 fab news on your scan date, hopefully that time will pass quickly for you!! Did my clear blue but I hate how it doesn't stay in the little window and disappears after a day, I like to look at them 😂

@thumper59 I wish I could start buying things, sooo exciting!!

@Tropicana1so glad you have seen a little heart beat, I really want to try and get an early scan but scared they will say no 😩. Is your 12 weeks scan on the 5th? X

Crossfitgirl · 20/05/2019 08:32

@delilah7 omg thats not long at all, 4.5 weeks? Same day all our baby stuff arrives from mamas and papas haha.

@thumper59 we got the Franklin 5 piece set, the Ocarro 8 piece set for the pram in grey twill (thanks mum and dad!) a snuzpod in white (thanks grandad!) and the cybex platinum lie flat car seat and base. I'm so excited for it all coming! We got some huge savings in the Easter sale and also got money off with a personal shop. We haven't got any cot bedding yet but I think I'll wait for the furniture to arrive and gets put up so I can see what decor I want to put in there. I need visual! Lol. We've got the snuzpod bedding though, just a couple of sheets and a couple of blankets which to cover essentials. What about you? We really liked the lulworth in mothercare too.

I had a dream last night that I went into labour and the midwife examined me at home on my bed and I was 2cm dilated and she was like you're in labour, I was like shit but I'm only 28 weeks! Then I was devastated i would have to go to the Labour ward instead of the midwife led unit. Luckily baby is still very much in my tummy thanks!!

@Crossfitgirl loooooove mamas and papas furniture. Ours is beautiful 😍
I know it's quite scary it could happen that soon but I'm soooooo ready mentally. Xx

thumper59 · 20/05/2019 09:28

@DayDreamer1707 I started buying bits from our 8 week scan 🙄😖. We was so excited!!

@Crossfitgirl how lovely! We've got the same pram, well I got the Panama grey colour but there is not a lot between them!Savings are always good! We got over a hundred off too so was well pleased with that. I got the Millie and borris bedding but it's from last seasons collection. I really loved it and and it was all half price so had to be had! We still need a bed side crib, either snuz pod or next 2 me, but we have a lot of time left for stuff like that yet. Aw how mad are pregnancy dreams! So realistic. Glad baby is very happy in your belly still!

DayDreamer1707 · 20/05/2019 18:30

@thumper59 did you request an early scan or pay for one? I really want one because we had a MMC last year. More just for reassurance x

thumper59 · 20/05/2019 18:53

@DayDreamer1707 I paid for one, had one private at 8+4 and was really glad I did. Gave me a lot of reassurance and peace of mind. Our area is a bit crap for getting them on offer but I know a lot of places they often come up on groupon or similar. Ours was 79 quid which I didn't think was too bad anyway. X

Fivebyfive2 · 20/05/2019 19:21

So we hosted a Eurovision party on Saturday. Someone mentions something about a gig in October... DH (darling husband) says... "I'll go, but she'll be massive by then" !! He even does a sodding hand gesture, to indicate I'll be Big?!! Awkward or what?!

@DayDreamer1707, keep me posted on your thoughts on early scans. I also had a mmc earlier this year. Up until the last few days, I've been thinking I didn't want an early scan, just wanted to see what happens. But the last few days I've been wavering a little. I think because this is time they said the last pregnancy stopped developing (around 6 weeks) although we didn't find out until over 8 weeks. Still unsure though and am wondering whether to go with my first instinct of seeing what will be?! Confused Dot Com indeed!! Xx

Tropicana1 · 20/05/2019 19:26

@Fivebyfive2 hey! Yea feeling loads better now thanks, almost back to my normal self 🙌🏻 hahaha oh my got at your DH 🙈 did everyone already know you were pregnant at the party or did they guess after that comment?

@DayDreamer1707 booking appointment is on the 5th and they will book my 12 week scan at that time for a couple of weeks later :)

@Crossfitgirl I love the name Olivia!
