Afternoon ladies! Haven't checked in in a while. Had a bad week last week but feel like a brand new woman yesterday and today! Which of course has me worrying everything is not ok. We do put ourselves through it! Hope your all well.

I know, super exciting :-) I’m already on countdown!!!

Got super angry today. While driving home a guy decided to overtake me (after tailgating for a mile or so) And smashed into the side of me 😩 then drove off. Luckily not injured....but all I could think was what if!!!! Spent last hour in police station. (Luckily had an independent witness. Was seething. Particularly with additional hormonal rages 😂

Also, quick question when is everyone’s 12 week scan? Mine isn’t until 13 1/2 weeks? Has anyone successfully managed to change it and bring it forward?

@Bean1987 mines next week when I'll be 12+2 MW said as long as it's before 14weeks that's fine so I'm not too worried just excited to have it!

But we are having an 11 week scan with our ivf clinic this Thursday as we are away with family for Easter and want to know everything is ok so we can tell them 🤞🤞

@Bean1987 apparently everyone is pregnant at the moment so loads of demands for scans the the bloody bank holiday in the way my midwife was complaining the other day so they're finding it hard to fit all the scans in! As long as it's done by 14 weeks you're fine

My booking in should be Thursday at at 10+3 but they cancelled it due to too many people needing appointments so I've been pushed to 3rd May! 12+4 luckily my midwife said clearly that's too late to book my scan so did the paper work Friday over the phone! Hoping to get my date through soon.

My first pregnancy 8 years was for this exact same due date and I ended up miscarrying over the early May back holiday at 12 weeks alone in the street walking home from a friends until a nice taxi stopped and held my hand while I lay there bleeding waiting for the ambulance .,. My partner at the time was away abroad that weekend ... my now husband is due to be away that exact same weekend on a stag do. I'm quietly freaking out history will repeat its self

@Bella1989 haha that’s what I’m waiting for. Want to share the news 😂 but looks as though I’ll have to wait a bit longer and will have to stop being impatient. Do wish mine was 12 too. 13 1/2 feels like an eternity 😂

I’m sure everything will be fine and that the little one is growing well. Easier said that fine I know...but try and remain calm and positive 😊 Let us know when you finally get a date through.

Agree with you that everyone seems to be pregnant. I had to have my booking in appointment over the phone too!

Thanks for explaining.

I joined the MN bus for PFB, we asked people to confirm they were still on the bus rather than delete the whole thing and start from scratch on each thread. So I was a bit surprised to see it done differently. Pros and cons of both ways of doing it, no issues now.

@Bean1987 it's mad isn't it. Makes me nervous to think the midwives will be stretched when we go into labour Sad

I was offered a scan date when we're on holiday (first world problems) and the only date after takes me over 14 weeks. So we've booked a private scan and NIPT test for 12 weeks.

@Mintypea5 so sorry. Everything crossed it all goes well this time.

@Bean1987 and @Preggosaurus9 thank you Thanks flipping between it will be fine and raging panic. I think it's just because DH will be our the country.

It is rather worry how stretched midwifes are! The local MLU close to me doesn't have enough staff to stay manned and open Past 8 so if you go into labour between 8pm and 8am you have to hope the on. Call midwife can come in ....

My scan is booked for 13+6, @bean1987. I was a bit worried that it was pretty close to the NT limit, but a scan’s a scan and I’ll be closer to the next one! This first trimester has been about 6000 days longer than usual, a couple of extra weeks isn’t going to hurt 😊
