Hi ladies, thought I’d start another thread as the original one is closed and don’t think anyone has started a new one yet? I’m sure there are more ladies I should tag!

@Giraffle trust me they're in there!!! In different flavours too!

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 16:44

@Delilah7 thank you! I’m so excited! 😂 haven’t had one since I was a kid 😂

BeckyButterfly · 20/03/2019 16:59

The only craving I’ve had has been for Primula 😂 you know that awful fake cheese in a tube? I used to love it when I was a kid and now I’ve gone through 3 tubes in two weeks and endless packets of Tuc crackers!

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 17:47

@BeckyButterfly I don’t know what that is but it does sounds nice haha I craved roast chicken the whole way through! This fruit winders thing has only been since last night but it’s a really strong craving 😂

Mayjane5 · 20/03/2019 18:05

Lovely seeing all your bumps makes it so real now!! Im getting heartburn now every evening which sucks. @Giraffle yeah I’m thinking I would hopefully feel better with a planned section as with the last one I didn’t sleep for 2 days before due to the induction and of course all the pushing with no luck so something to consider

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 18:10

@MayJane5 either way it’s such a hard decision I think when you’ve decided it’ll hopefully take some stress off your mind Smile

Mayjane5 · 20/03/2019 18:16

@Giraffle it’s a bit of wait and see for now as I had icp with my first and there’s a high chance I could get it again usually appears in third trimester so if this happens early delivery is recommended, I would definitely go for the section if this occurred

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 18:20

@mayjane5 ahh I’m sorry to hear that, fingers crossed it doesn’t appear this time! Flowers

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 18:35

Tesco don’t have fruit winders Sad must be a city shortage 😂 he’s going to try in Sainsbury’s for me but I’m not hopeful at this point 😭

rosyedith · 20/03/2019 19:50

Bump at 22 wks!! Loving everyone's bump pics x

Delilah7 · 20/03/2019 19:56

@Giraffle omg, if you don't find any I will post you some! 😂😂😂

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 20:01

I’m so happy! ☺️ He pretended he couldn’t find them anywhere and I literally cried (pregnancy hormones are so much fun 😂) then he brought these out. 😁

Yaaaay @Giraffle! I’m so happy for you 😊 also, brownie points go to the other half for getting them for you. There’s nothing worse than not having what you are craving. I nearly cried because my husband went to Aldi instead of Tesco’s so rang me to say he couldn’t get my frosted shreddies 😂

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 20:32

@BeckyButterfly he’s honestly brilliant bless him. I’m very lucky, not many would go to 6 shops to get 1 thing 😂 it was so weird I don’t know why I cried, it made me laugh after but I just really really wanted them. haha

I love shreddies, have them every day for breakfast! Smile

Loujonesy · 20/03/2019 20:50

This was my bump 4 weeks ago. I'm officially massive lol. Luckily I have only the bump and no extra weight anywhere else.

The only way to stop my sickness ( along with tablets ) was to eat 🙈

I have def not had this energy people speak about. I feel tired most of the time lol X

I’m the same @Loujonesy. I’m still waiting for this second trimester energy to kick in..!

BeckyButterfly · 21/03/2019 08:56

Rant alert!

I’m getting really pissed off with work right now. I’ve had a few days off since January because of various things from picking up every germ going to migraines to actually needing to go in to the hospital because of pain. I understand that it is annoying for them to have to cover me without any notice but my head teacher and deputy head have been asking me for a couple of weeks to speak to the GP about getting a sick note to have a more extended period of time off work.
I don’t really want to do that, at least until after the Easter holidays, because when I’m not physically unwell there is no reason why I can’t be at work. In fact, I enjoy being at work. I suffer greatly with an anxiety disorder but I have actually managed to keep it in check quite well during pregnancy especially since I’m not taking my medication so I have been really proud of myself for that. I feel like being signed off on the sick would just make it worse because I’ll be sat around the house driving myself insane!

Sorry for the really long post. I just needed to rant. It’s really getting me down and I just don’t know what to do about it anymore. I’ve started to feel like maybe I should just do what they say. I didn’t sleep at all last night thinking about it.

Giraffle · 21/03/2019 10:43

@BeckyButterfly that sounds like a total nightmare. It seems odd to want to sign you off when you’ve only had some days off here and there. Definitely try to tell them that it would impact your mental health being off work, it’s not fair for them to try and get to you do something that would negatively impact on you.

It definitely does impact mental health too, having been signed off for 2 months and trying a phased return last week but it making me too sick I completely understand your worries. I think loneliness plays a big part in that. I really hope they take into account your feelings on this! Flowers

Squ1ggle · 21/03/2019 11:12

Hi ladies, please can I join? I'm on another July thread but hadn't seen this one before. I'm 25 weeks, due 3rd July. Second baby and I'm absolutely massive (both bump and arse because all I'm eating is cake and biscuits lol!)

MrsC87 · 21/03/2019 11:29

@Squ1ggle that's my craving, cake! Had three slices the other day 🙈 trying to be good now but it's all I want to eat lol x

Squ1ggle · 21/03/2019 11:31

@MrsC87 I literally only want to eat bad stuff. I was doing slimming world prior to pregnancy so I know I'm shooting myself in the foot as will only have to lose the weight again at some point but I just can't control myself

MrsC87 · 21/03/2019 13:37

I just try to be good on some days. I'm grateful I've yet to put the stone on I've lost in the first trimester.
Just enjoy being pregnant @Squ1ggle & be good on some days 😊

BeckyButterfly · 22/03/2019 13:45

Thank you @Giraffle 🙂 I spoke to my boss yesterday and was really honest and open about it. She was really nice actually and said that she is just worried about me and wants to make sure that I know there is no pressure to be at work if I’m not feeling well. So I’m feeling a lot better about it today.

BeckyButterfly · 22/03/2019 13:50

Also, I just thought I’d share this for anyone on here who is larger busted lady. I ordered and just received this bra: www.figleaves.com/uk/figleaves-nursing-bralette-d-h-cup/FIG-010302.html?dwvar_FIG-010302_color=750029&cgid=&list=product_range

It’s really nice and comfortable! It’s reduced to £16.80 with £4 delivery. I was really struggling to find any decent maternity bras in a 34H cup that weren’t £30-£40.

Giraffle · 22/03/2019 13:53

@BeckyButterfly that’s so good to hear glad it’s been sorted and good to see it’s just then trying to be supportive Smile
