Hi ladies, thought I’d start another thread as the original one is closed and don’t think anyone has started a new one yet? I’m sure there are more ladies I should tag!

Tell me about it I really am dreading the next ones. The nurse that done Milo's jabs said they have to be done no longer than 4 weeks. I have to get them done in that 4th week.

Yeah 4 doses in 24 hours. It's rubbish you had to have a PM slot for jabs!

I know sometimes you do sit back and think how are we friends? 😂.

Ooo yes I love a cup of tea! Not so much coffee unless it's a pumpkin spiced latte or ginger sea latte. I want a gingerbread one now so I'm going to make myself one 🙈.

Did you manage to get ready? Milo is still asleep. He'll stay asleep until about 9. He's scratched his face though when he was angry stirring i only cut his nails 2 days ago 😩.

I have to fast from 9pm tonight! Not looking forward to that!!

@FairyDust92 oh is it, I did double check with the nurse before booking as we're away during the 4th week and she said the week after is fine you just can't have them early. Who do you trust these days, they all say different things!

Thankfully tho next appointment is in the morning ☺️

I'm a tea drinker too, dislike the taste of any coffee so can't do any of these fancy drinks! I'll happily have different flavoured hot chocolate tho. Roll on this autumn/winter nights!

Yeh managed to get ready! Not that I made any effort yesterday .. just the usual but got 2 compliments from parents at the childcare setting I work/daughter goes to when I dropped off yesterday! ☺️ bet that's nice having those morning lie ins! A lie in ha what's that?

Aw they always look so nasty to dont, their nails grow so quickly!

Hope the fasting is going well? Have you got to have a blood test or something?

When I found out I had OC (the liver condition) during pregnancy - after pregnancy they had to scan my abdomen and check on my liver etc. However I didn't read the letter so on the day double checking where I had to go it said I couldn't eat 6 hours before 😩 which was fine I hadn't however I was starving boo!

Thankfully Evie is back to her usual happy self now (thank god) those horrible jabs messed her up for a good 24hours. She slept literally all morning yesterday (prob making up for the night too) however did mean i could get the shopping done!! Win win!

You have them booked in?! My doctors were like no can you phone in late September as our October books aren't open yet. Erm okay 🙄

Yeah nah I'm starving and all I can drink is bloody water 😭. Were I had GD in pregnancy I got to be tested for diabetes to see if I still have it or it's gone. Touch woods it's gone! I was meant to have it last week but I just couldn't face fasting last week 😂. Not sure what OC is?

Glad she is back to herself! Bless them it makes them so sleepy which I'm glad it does in all honesty so their unaware of the tenderness to! Always a winner when you can get stuff done!

Had an eventful morning yesterday. Was putting washing on the kitchen floor ready to load in the washing machine when I see something run across the floor into vent under the kitchen cupboards 😭😭. I phoned my brother in tears (I'm terrified of 🐭) he came round and said he thinks the vent is too small for a mouse and took the kick boards of but couldn't see anything.
Phoned pest control be came and also couldn't find a trace of a mouse which is good so he left bait down but he did say there were access points from shoddy workmanship under the cupboards which he said he can repair (thank god) when he comes back next week to check the bait. Hoping he put a trap down too tbh! He put bait on the loft too even though he said he couldn't see anything up there he'd rather put more bait in different places just in case.
I haven't been in the kitchen since! Taped up the vent and a blanket is outside the kitchen door 😩. That was a bit of a ramble. I think it could've been a spider the vent isn't massive and it went straight into the vent and my brother said if it were a mouse I would've seen it go in as it would've taken longer. But I'm not sure if he's just saying that! 😩😩😭

@FairyDust92 yeh the nurse done it for me there and then. What a pain.. why can't all doctors work the same/have the same appointment procedure to follow etc.

I love the Christmas hot chocolates 🥰 it's like a treat! What's your favourite flavour to have with hot chocolate etc .. I love salted caramel or honeycombe 😍😍

Hopefully the blood test went well 😊 how long do you have to wait for the results?
OC - apparently it's problems with the liver producing bile or something. It can affect baby and in the past led to still borns hence being induced early. I only found out I had it as was concerned my wee was very dark so googled it (as you do) and it said about this condition and another symptom was itchy palms and feet - which I had to! So had a blood test and less than 24 hours later I had an induction booked (they take it very seriously)! The probability of OC causing a stillborn in this day and age is slim they said but you don't do tests etc on pregnant women so they keep to the old guidelines! I didn't mind tho got to meet Evie even earlier ☺️ and if she was in me any longer she would of been a chunk!!!!!

Oh god, that be my worse nightmare - more the fact of not knowing what it was!!! Least the pest control put down some bait .. even if the spider enjoys it ;) we had mice in our loft could always hear them scuffling around at night, I hated it. I always wondered how do they get up there??!! Eugh!

@Squeakybubbles26 I know I went in today for blood test and they did full body count too. Worried now. Hope the results are okay 😰. Have to wait until next Tuesday for results. They still don't have the appointment book open for October... 🙄.

Oh blimey! Lucky you googled it! Sounds very serious and scary! Glad your LO was safe though. Exactly you got to meet her early ☺️. What was her birthweight?
Got Milo weighed today he is now 12lb 12oz which is what he is supposed to be so that's good ☺️.

Ewww how did you live there with them with you! Or are you not fussed by them?

Took Milo to A&E today ☹️. His cousin tripped on a playmat at the library toy came flying out his hand and landed on Milo. Didn't take the full whack of it but he screamed like no ones business. Everyone looked like I had bloody hurt him! 🤬 felt so sorry for them both my nephew was distraught as he realised what he had done. The sad thing is he's only 1.5 and was getting the toy to show him (he absolutely adores him) and wants to do everything for him it wasn't his fault bless him. My sister is putting in a complaint as the play mats weren't secure down with anything! Such a trip hazard. Anyway doctor checked him over and said he looks okay got a little lump on his head. No sleep for me tonight because I'll worry so much ☹️. First of all phoned doctors they said go to minor injuries so done that got there and they said no go to hospital as we don't see anyone under 1 🙄.

Milo seems okay in himself hope he stays this way or I'll go back over.

@FairyDust92 I hate the waiting game for tests and results etc! Fingers crossed you've got the all clear tho! The only good thing is at least your being followed up on and checked. Everyone will be calling up at the same time!

Haven't tried anything with Black Forest gateaux in. Maybe something to add to the list! Trying to be spontaneous and try new things ☺️ until I see something I love and go for that haha!

The word stillborn scared me half to death. Couldn't help but worry! However all fine and dandy! Since giving birth I've had follow ups to check my liver etc and thank god all clear!

Wow, he's a growing lad :) but least he's on track which is good! I never realised how quick there weight went on! Evie was 10lb 4oz a week ago. Does he feel heavy? I hate lugging her car seat around!

As it was the loft I felt ok, not walking around with them and all. We left traps up there and caught about 5/6 over several months. (The movements didn't happen daily - it's like they come and go)

Oh god, that sounds like an ordeal! Your poor nephew must of felt well guilty (not that a toddler can express that but you know what I mean)! Play mats can be leathful if not secure. Least you got milo checked tho just incase. The nhs do take infants seriously and will always check them - which is good! What time did he have him bump? I'm sure he'll be fine, at least try and relax even if you can't sleep. Glad he seems ok tho xx

We had to to take DD1 to A&E because she feel off a space hopped and bumped her head on the corner of a radiator - causing a bleeding cut! Obviously she wouldn't let us apply pressure etc. We went to a&e because the cut was open and wanted it checked. However all they did was stick a blinking plaster on it! We felt like right numpties 🙈 to be fair in our defence I thought she would of needed those glue stitches .. oops!

@Squeakybubbles26 yeah just hope everything is okay 🤞🏼.

I always do that especially at restaurants. I always say I'm going to trying something different but 90% of the time I never do 🙈.

That's good your liver is all clear! Even the word stillborn is so scary 😭.

Gosh tell me about it how heavy the car seats have gotten!! He now doesn't fit in his first size clothes so time to pack them away 😭😭😭.

Ahhhh! The fact they are they would petrify me! Their like my biggest fear along with snakes!

Yeah he felt so awful and was scared to go near him afterwards ☹️. I said to him come and kiss him better and he did and after that he was fine. But he came up to me like an hour after and was like 'baby mat fall bash head' and pointed to his head but kept kissing his head better ☹️.

Awww bless her! That's sounds painful! Glad she was okay. I was petrified of taking him I jus kept saying to my partner their gonna take him from me 😭😭. Thankfully the doctor gave him the all clear and was aware it was an accident by nephew. He checked his whole body of course for any other things because he's a baby they do all the other checks to be sure it is how you said it was that happened and there isn't anything else going on. He said he could see how much we care for him and protect him and it's just one of those things.

They do extra checks now and when they're born at our hospital since this scum bag abused her baby and he died at a few weeks old. She's local to us so the hospital rules changed she's scum of the fucking earth! 🤬

@FairyDust92 hope your nights going well and you've managed to get some sleep.

It's mad how quick they actually grow out their clothes 😢 my husband keeps telling me to put her in the tiny baby size clothes he got her whilst we were staying in hospital and I'm like they honestly don't fit no more! Are you saving all your clothes? What's sad is we won't be, they grow so quick it's scary! It's mad to think in less than 2 weeks il have a 3 year old!!

I'm not to bad knowing mice are there etc. It's those big hairy house spiders I don't like ah! And I hate daddy long legs when they fly around 🙄 don't know why but if I'm trying to sleep and can I hear them flying around the room.

Aw poor little guy. Least you know it wasn't malicious. He'll prob remember this event for a good while, reminding you of what happened.

That's the one problems with hospitals you feel like you've done something wrong or being judged just incase they report or take them off you etc. I know it's only protocol but I can see why some parents don't take them to the hospital with the fear of worrying that they'll loose their child. It's the Q's they ask as well.

How can someone abuse and hurt their poor baby 😢 Even the emotional and neglecting them sadens me not just the physical etc. Hopefully that women got sent down.

@Squeakybubbles26 we're having a good night thank you. Managed a bit of a sleep but woke up from a bad dream and don't feel like I can re settle now as it has unnerved me a bit.

Haha it'll probably be like a crop top 🙈. Will you sell her clothes or take them to charity? No I can't part with them yet! 😂.

Yeah none of them would hurt him maliciously. Their all so gentle and loving to him I'm very lucky.

Yeah it is protocol but so scary! One teenager was moaning about the kids playing with toys in the a&e and was like 'why would they even put toys in here' I said there is a teenager room over there and he went bright red. Ffs shut up kids are playing. Go into the the teenager room if you don't like it!

I know it's actually vile like how could you harm anyone yet alone such a defenceless child!

Milo is started to show signs of teething now 🙈

@FairyDust92 sometimes dreams can seem so real!

I'll try and sell them first and if no takers take them to the charity shop or something. Or I might stick it all up and do a boot sale or something next spring (my god that will fly by tho)!

She's got a busy couple weeks ahead a few parties one with some close friends, and then with our families over the weekend (not this one next). On her actual birthday we're going to peppa pig world - we're not telling her so it will be a surprise when we get there. Can't wait to see her face ☺️

The teenager actually said something 😮 cor keep you mouth shut boy! There children at the end of the day let them be, and they are in a anxious place.

Come to think of it harming you own child?? What kind of sick human being even thinks to!

@FairyDust92 i love this age - I feel like they are more interacting and the smiles I get (now I can finally say that) just melt my heart!
Mind you as the get older it gets better to, feel I'm over the worse of the newborn stage (thank god)! Evie definitely hit that 7 week peak crying stage 🙄 so glad we passed that and have a different baby now!

I've been to Paultons park back when I was child, never been to peppa pig world! Looks amazing tho. Have you been to Peppa pig world? Aw how nice that it's just down the road, it's reasonably priced too compared to Alton towers/chessignton etc!

Did you manage to get those teething bracelets?

Yeah we've been to peppa pig world. It's quite good. They put on little shows through out the day. We took our niece for her birthday and they do peppa balloons in the shops she was very impressed haha!

@FairyDust92 oh dear I can see it being an expensive day out! DD1 is at that stage where she asks for EVERYTHING!!!

@FairyDust92 oh dear 🙈 nah don't mind treating her - you only turn 3 once ... however no bit 6ft peppa pigs are coming home with us! I've also heard the play the theme tune literally all day?? 😩

@Squeakybubbles26 yes they do play the theme tune I blocked that out and forgot! 😂 it's not like loud and it fades into background noise in the end.

@FairyDust92 I guess you get used to constant noise the more you hear it. At night I sleep listening to white noise (for Evie of course) and at first it annoys me but then get used to it!

Yesterday was lush, busy tho! We had a play date then DD1 had a free trial at a dance class - melted my heart and then she had a friends birthday party! Let's say we were all shattered last night lol 😂

Finally caved and brought a stroller 😂🙈 definitely using it when we go into the city it was a nightmare today!

@FairyDust92 the problem is our white noise is crickets chirping lol 😂 I do love the different sounds but worry if I change it up now she won't sleep as well!

We had the best night ever tonight .. had a proper feed at 8:15 so slept til 4.30 - happy days!

She normally had a big fill at 6-6.30 then I try and top her up a little at 8.30 (usually only an oz tho as she's so tired and not hungry lol) but then she wakes at 3! I would put her to bed at like 7-8ish as she's prob ready for it but worry she'll wake up at like 1-2 and then that's back to 2 feeds a night and that's not fun lol!

DD1 loved the dance lesson! The problem is - my friends convinced us into going. We kind of don't want to start any classes yet because 1 she's too young to understand and be like "I want to do dancing" and mean it ... and 2 I'm on mat pay (rubbish)! And 3 .. when I go back to work she won't be able to continue with the class she goes to due to childcare. But in due time maybe.

Was it a nightmare out and about then with a pushchair? Mind you I went shopping the other day and moving around clothes shops.. it's near enough impassable! Did you get the stroller you wanted?

@Squeakybubbles26 crickets chirping! Omg you are brave! If that was the white noise I'd chuck whatever device it's coming from out the window!

Milo has changed his pattern will have his last feed at 10 and then will wake at 7am I mean I'm not complaining lol! When he has his little growth spurts is when he wakes again for a feed at like 5am.

Ohh that's good though! Yeah sometimes school age is better for these classes. Glad she liked it though!

Milo loves his teething toy! Brought him another teething thing it's a MAM dummy type of one and is form 2m which is good as granules are all from 3m

@FairyDust92 oh don't the crickets annoy me to, but I worry it will affect her sleep haha! My god with DD1 I read the same 3 books in order for about 6 months just incase it affected her sleep haha! (Thankfully they are only 1 word page sort of thing)!

I hope it lasts too, but don't think it wills Evie is so tired and ready for bed by 8.30 that I can only get an oz in her then (back to normal tonight .. so expecting a 3-3.30 wake up 😔 however 1 feed is better than 2 I must remind myself and she's only a baby! To be honest tho I'm usually in bed by 9 as well so suits me well lol! That's really good of milo, least you know your getting a full nights sleep! How's the teething going?

What teething toy do you have? I'm dreading the teething stage! It didn't really affect DD1 as such but you never know how each child will be! I got recommended the teething granuals or something and didn't notice any change or any help if u get me. But that's personal experience.

@Squeakybubbles26 omg haha! I'd have to risk it and change it to the sound of rain! Now that's a nice sound or the sea! ☺️

Oh hopefully you'll might have a good night though. Bless her all worn out! Milo had his feed at 8:30 so going to feed him at 11:30 although he never usually takes this one so don't know why I bother 🙈 then hopefully that's him for the night but you never know lol.

His teething is going okay at the moment thank you. It's very early at the moment so he's quite calm with them. He likes the teething toy that's a monkey you just stick in the fridge lol. He does like that MAM dummy tether though! He wasn't sure at first as I think he thought I tricked him with a 'dummy' 😂. And my gosh does he love his actually dummy. He wants his bloody dummy in the bath which I'm like no I'm sure you can wait until you get out but as soon as he gets out and he is warming up he wants that dummy! 😂🙈

Oh I hope the granules work when we he's old enough for them. 😂

@FairyDust92 ok ok I might attempt to spice it up a little tomorrow night. Evie was really over tired earlier and needed a nap and found a swaying boat or something on the app, my husband was settling DD1 in bed and could hear the noise and shouted down err you ok down there, what you broken lol 😂 to be fair it did sound like I had broken something but she fell asleep so win win! Do you use white noise at night?

Usual routine here up at 3.20 for a feed currently cuddling and snoozing on me ☺️ gotta cherish these moments as they don't last forever 😢
Husband has decided to come back in to our bed tonight ... I miss star fishing 😩😔

Those cold teethers are really good! Won't be long and will be investing (well hopefully a couple months or so tho)! He's on to you 😂
Evie doesn't really show signs of wanting her dummy unless she's spat it out and it's like on her but she can't get it. However she only uses it in the day - doesnt need it at night (thankgod that's one less thing to wean her off)! And the day I think I only encourage it more to help with naps and 5 mintiest peace lol 😂

The granuals - do you mean like those teething powders in the white box? Like something err and parsons or whatever 🙈 lol
