Hi ladies, thought I’d start another thread as the original one is closed and don’t think anyone has started a new one yet? I’m sure there are more ladies I should tag!

@Squeakybubbles26 haha at least she fell asleep bless her! Must've been a weird noise! 😂
No I don't use white noise.

Haha how dare your husband come back in and ruin your star fishing 😂.

Oh least you got some sleep in. Oh bless definitely treasure those moments. He took 2oz at 11:30 but he's gone right through until 6:15 so really can't complain! ☺️

Yeah those teething granules as heard you shouldn't use bonjela the baby one.

He just loves his dummy so I'm not going to take it from him. He doesn't need it to sleep but will sometimes wake for it so he does have it in bed. How I look at is it's easier to wean him off a dummy than his thumb. I won't allow him to suck his thumb can't get rid of that lol

@FairyDust92 I find white noise drowns out the grunts and groans ;) however Evie is not way as noisy as DD1 was! Does milo grunt/groan in his sleep?

I've come to bed early just to star fish / get comfy before the hubby comes up (and I'm shattered 😴)!

That's good! I long for a good 9 hours sleep tho 🙄 mind you I should be grateful to have 6 hours sleep!

What have you heard about bonjela? Is this a new thing?

I'm all for a dummy .. the one thing me and my husband couldn't agree on was a dummy! 🙈 with DD1 we weaned her off hers at 7 months old - but that was because she kept crying out at night for it when it fell out and I got annoyed of getting up to put it back in. So we were in 2 minds of using the dummy again with Evie but because we had an unsettled start I caved and she's only really had it in the day. I was a thumb sucker, and I didn't stop until I was 11 so agree with you there. What ever comforts your child and keeps them happy when they need/want it you'd give them anything as a parent (well I say that but not 100 times during the night when they spit it out lol)!

@Squeakybubbles26 haha! Yes he does grunt in his sleep but so do I 😂. I'm a noisy sleeper sometimes so my poor partner has to hear both of us! 🙈

Haha! Get an early night for sure!

I can't remember I just heard it wasn't good for them? Maybe it's not true not sure tbh!

Haha! 7 months is a good age! I could imagine getting up a few times would be a nightmare. I'll get myself prepared for that! He loves his dummy so much! Ahh no! Did your front teeth stick out because you sucked your thumb?

Squeakybubbles26 · 16/09/2019 04:32

@FairyDust92 your poor partner 😂 My husband quite often comments on my snoring 🙈

Thankfully we've done well tonight. Evie had a small feed around 7.30ish, she was shattered and fell straight asleep and woke at 4 for a feed! Heading in the right direction ☺️
How's your night going?

Thankfully she wasn't old enough to ever remember having it but she was old enough to want it during the time. I heard somewhere after 6 months they have proper attachments or something, where as if i weaned her off her dummy at 4 months she wouldn't be bothered 😕 who knows lol!

No thankfully, my teeth were practically straight thank god! No brace needed or nothing ☺️ however I've known a few friends who's teeth have suffered from sucking there thumbs! Mind you you can even tell who had a dummy in all day ...🙄

FairyDust92 · 16/09/2019 07:04

@Squeakybubbles26 haha everyone's snores a little bit! 😂

Oh that's a good stretch! Well done Evie! We done well he went down about 10 and he's still asleep at the moment.

I don't think I'd be able to wean Milo off it now he'd kick off 😂. I don't mind to be honest. He likes it and he's a baby so he can have it.

Oh that's good! Yeah some people have awful
Open bit because of dummies and thumbs!
