Hi ladies, thought I’d start another thread as the original one is closed and don’t think anyone has started a new one yet? I’m sure there are more ladies I should tag!

Hey ladies, sorry to gatecrash, wondered if I could join as I'm due 16th July with my first baby. Currently 23+1 and found out I'm having a boy 💙😊

MrsC87 · 20/03/2019 10:27

@Delilah7 wondered where you were, how are you doing?? xx

Delilah7 · 20/03/2019 10:29

@MrsC87 hi lovely. We are both having boys!! 😍💙 I'm 23+5! I'm ok. SPD is kicking my arse but boy is so low. I'm still quite small bump wise but you can defo see I'm pregnant now tho if you knew me before haha. How're you?? Xx

MrsC87 · 20/03/2019 10:36

Yes we're both team blue 💙 I'm so chuffed.
Bless you, you've had a rough ride throughout 😞 is there any treatment for SPD?
My bump is really coming on, even though I lost a stone in first trimester it's still pretty big 🙈 all good here, just tired on the evenings. Painting the nursery this weekend 😆 xx

Hi all! I’m 25 weeks now and the bump is pretty big. Movements have been thick and fast most nights for around 2 weeks but had a little scare early this week with nothing for 2 days. Typically as soon we committed to going to hospital the Duracell bunny started up again!
Planning to have another quick scan soon just because I’m desperate to see him/her again and know all is ok. Can’t believe how fast the time is going! Has anyone bought much stuff yet?

Delilah7 · 20/03/2019 11:25

@MrsC87 I have. Glad I'm just having him!! I'm currently having physio at the moment but I think that's it for treatment not to sure. Here's my bump! 💙

@Rosyedith No my due date is 27th July. It was originally 11th July based on LMP but my cycle was all over the place so early scan dated me at 27th. It may change again though as baby was measuring 6 days ahead at my 20 week scan last week so we may well end up having the same due date! I assume it’s down to my consultant to change it, I won’t see her again until 3rd May so we’ll see then.

Hello ladies, I wasn't on the original thread but due 21st of July and wanted to find a place to see how other mums in the same position were doing.
Have a big bump this time around and baby seems to be able to reach all sorts of places already (everywhere that is ticklish) and give them a good poke.
We found out at our 20 week scan that we were having a little girl Grin which gives me one of each.
She seems very active over the past few weeks which is nice even if it is at 3am. Although she has settled this week into 6am-10pm poking and punching with small naps during the day. I could do without the random bladder pokes though. It's very hard to hold it in when she does that.

MrsC87 · 20/03/2019 12:48

Aww you look lovely @Delilah7
Glad you've got some physio, hoping it helps! xx

Delilah7 · 20/03/2019 12:54

@MrsC87 I'm not feeling it but thank you!! Worried they will say I'm growing over what I'm meant to lol. Xxx

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 13:59

@Delilah7 definitely something to be proud of!

@Mayjane5 I’ve had multiple operations for Endometriosis plus other things I just hope they take me seriously! It was something for me I knew before I was even pregnant. It’s such a hard decision to make and I hope you’re able to come to a decision soon. From research I’ve done it seems recovery from a planned c section is “easier” than an emergency so may be something to look into if you think it will help. Smile

@loujonesy it’s certainly not nice, it’s strange being able to say you get used to being sick! Never thought it’s something you could get used to haha people keep telling me I’ll be glowing soon and gain all this magic energy... yeah right! 😂

@Gabbygal how exciting! It seems like it’s going so fast! SPD does seem quite common now! I have a support belt which keeps my hips more aligned. A good thing for back pain is a V shaped pillow! It’s liek heaven. That and all the heat, I have hot water bottles, heat pads, heat matts and obviously baths but after coming off Morphine (for hip joint problems) when I found out I was pregnant I knew that pain would be something I’ll need to deal with and so far heat has been a real help Smile

Hope everyone’s doing well today! Having a positive morning and despite the sickness I actually feel great. Hoping to keep this going!

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 14:02

@Delilah7 also just to add on as read more comments after I posted Blush Physio for has helped greatly! They’ve given a support belt and I will be getting crutches next week to be able to go away for a week (involved a fair amount of walking) so I really hope it helps you too! Smile

Delilah7 · 20/03/2019 14:16

@Giraffle awww thank you. Hope you're ok!!i half hope they give me crutches as walking is a bit of a mission for me tbh!! How did they determine you needed them?? Xx

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 14:27

@Delilah7 honestly I just asked and she agreed it would be helpful! It’s only for longer distance stuff or when I’m having a more painful day but she said they’ll help give some support and walk a little more in line :) definitely ask if you think you need them as the sooner you ask for more help the sooner you get it and feel even the slightest improvements. Smile x

I’m all good! It’s strange today I woke up feeling/being really sick but I just feel really positive and nothings getting me down ☺️ I have a pug and a mainecoon who are also being absolutely hilarious today so that helps haha. I think lately I’ve been struggling with being at home and off work I had gotten quite down but I think the further along I go the more excited I’m getting and it does help, as does little baby items arriving Smile

Delilah7 · 20/03/2019 15:08

@Giraffle perfect I think I will as some days it's absolutely awful! 😔 awww I'm glad you're feeling positive though that's great. I'm starting to feel that way too. Especially as in a couple of weeks I'll have just entered my last trimester! Xx

BeckyButterfly · 20/03/2019 15:09

My bump is getting pretty huge these days! Only 22 weeks 😬 it definitely swells on an evening, particularly after I’ve eaten my tea.

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 15:35

@Delilah7 I’m sorry to hear that but hopefully they can help! :) and ooo how exiting! When are you due? ☺️ X

@BeckyButterfly your bump looks great! I’m 22 weeks on Friday and have a tiny bump! But it’s definitely bigger at certain times of the day, I have to have a double take sometimes as it takes me by suprise haha

Delilah7 · 20/03/2019 15:41

@Giraffle 12th July. My birthdays 7th!! It could land on my brothers 2nd, mine the 7th, my aunties the 15th or my sisters the 22nd 😂😂 x

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 15:44

@Delilah7 oh my goodness thats so strange! My dads birthday is the 7th, my partners dads is the 15th and his sister is the 22nd! Shock

Delilah7 · 20/03/2019 15:51

@Giraffle oh my gosh 😂

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 15:54

@Delilah7 strange world 😂

BeckyButterfly · 20/03/2019 15:57

Thank you @Giraffle 🙂 I lost a stone and a half in my first 14 weeks or so but my bump has been big since the beginning! I think the weight just came off from everywhere else which I’m not complaining about 😂 every cloud and all that.

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 16:02

@BeckyButterfly I lost two stone so I know the feeling! I’ll probably be slimmer after having a baby than I was before I was pregnant 😂 I eat so so much more than before too so as you say silver linings! Currently have a monster craving for fruit winders and have the Fiancé searching for them in shops as he can’t find them anywhere 😂

Delilah7 · 20/03/2019 16:05

@Giraffle Tesco do them!!!

Giraffle · 20/03/2019 16:29

@Delilah7 this is his next stop! He tried one stop, co-op, Morrison’s and ASDA, since last night and I can’t stop thinking about them so he said he’ll have another look in some more shops after work 😂 arent I lucky, do feel bad for him driving about looking but when it’s one of those strong cravings I can’t get it out my head 😂
