Hi ladies, thought I’d start another thread as the original one is closed and don’t think anyone has started a new one yet? I’m sure there are more ladies I should tag!

@GabbyGal I’m pleased you’ve started to feel some movement 😊 I’m not sure if I can feel things sometimes. There’s a lot of sensation in there but nothing I would say is definitive kicks.

Squeakybubbles26 · 18/03/2019 17:56

Hey all, finally found this thread! Thanks for starting a new one! How's everyone doing? Great news about everyone's scans and baby movements! July can't come soon enough! xx

Mayjane5 · 18/03/2019 18:08

Yay for kicks!! @Squeakybubbles26 I imagine July will come round quite quick 😮. Has anyone noticed weight gain in other areas like legs? I don’t know if it’s water retention or what but I’m starting to feel like a bloated whale and not even got to the big belly stage!!

GabbyGal · 18/03/2019 18:51

@Mayjane5 I think my face has rounded a bit and my ankles are already a bit swollen, had trouble closing the straps on a pair of sandals for a wedding on Saturday and I’ve worn them before!

Mayjane5 · 18/03/2019 19:00

@Gabbygal yes I’m sure my ankles are swollen too wasn’t sure if it was just in my head but I’m pretty sure they weren’t like that before. I’ve not weighed myself since 12 weeks wonder what the figure is now 😆

Loujonesy · 18/03/2019 20:39

My bump is massive lol. Although as people keep pointing out... It's my third pregnancy so my muscles have gown. Charming! Getting proper wallops from baby already. Def suffering from severe heartburn... It's one of the worse things ever... X

Loujonesy · 18/03/2019 20:40

Gone not gown*

rosyedith · 18/03/2019 21:16

Hello!! Thanks @GabbyGal I did wonder why I couldn't post on the old thread 😂 Had my 20 wk scan 2 weeks ago, everything great. I have low lying placenta so another scan at 34 wks! Didn't find out sex! Nursery is all finished already 🙈 Anyone else's belly button hurt? Mine is red & is sore to touch today, I've been told it's probably about to pop out !!

BeckyButterfly · 18/03/2019 21:29

@Loujonesy everyone keeps telling me that my bump is huge too! (I do think it’s pretty big like 😂) a few people have said that I don’t look pregnant from behind though so I don’t think I’ve gained much weight anywhere else which is good.

Helsvamp · 19/03/2019 09:24

Almost 24 weeks gone . Past week movements I can feel nearly all the time. Only time I don't notice is when I am at work as on feet all day

GabbyGal · 19/03/2019 09:46

@Loujonesy another big bump here 🙋🏻‍♀️

We made our first baby purchase yesterday, ordered the Uppababy Vista travel system. It’s getting very real now!

Hi all!

Thought I’d join the thread, it’s my first pregnancy and I’m due a little boy on 26th July! Have such a small bump at the moment because I lost 2 stone due to hyperemesis, haven’t started gaining anything yet but hoping that starts soon. Although at the 20 week scan I was told little boy is perfect and is all on track!

Getting tons of kicks morning and nighttime mainly but the second me or my fiancé put a hand onto my belly he stops! We’ve got a joker already haha

Is anyone else carrying really low? He’s still rather comfy in my pelvis which is getting more uncomfortable as I get bigger, I also have SPD so that’s not helping! Hoping he moves soon! Smile

BeckyButterfly · 19/03/2019 11:51

Hi @Giraffle! Sorry to hear you were so sick. I know the feeling though, I lost a stone and a half. I’ve definitely put it all back on and then some now, I can’t stop eating! And my bump is rather large 😂

I think I am carrying quite low. I get a lot of pains under my bump and I think she is sitting on or pretty close to my bladder because I feel like I have a UTI all the time despite being tested regularly and there being nothing!

Giraffle · 19/03/2019 12:13

@BeckyButterfly it’s awful isn’t it! Still hasn’t passed but fingers crossed for it soon! And same here I’ve never eaten so much in my life! And it’s definitely that feeling all the time!

I tend to just laugh at most of my “symptoms” now as it makes it easier to deal with all the random things pregnancy brings and no one tells you about. Waking up to nose bleeds everyday is one of the stranger ones 😂 I just can’t wait for July when we get to meet our little ones Smile

Delilah7 · 19/03/2019 15:51

@Giraffle hi!! I am literally you! I'm due 12th July. Lost a stone and abit due to hyperemesis. Got SPD due to carrying him low! x

Giraffle · 19/03/2019 15:59

@Delilah7 oh my goodness aren’t we just lucky! 😂 hope you’ve started to feel a little better from the hyperemesis recently?

Delilah7 · 19/03/2019 16:00

@Giraffle if I wasn't taken odansetron I wouldn't be good. But I'm ok. It seemed to slow at 17 weeks however now at 23 weeks I've had a few heaving episodes lol. My bumps only recently just 'popped' too so yours might soon! X

Giraffle · 19/03/2019 16:23

@Delilah7 Ordansetron is my best friend at the moment 😂 I had one of those bad days on Friday and had to head to the maternity unit and they do injections of it which last 8 hours! I felt so good after that injection it was like a miracle hha Good to hear it eased for you though and that it’s mainly just heaving now! Smile

I have a definite bump but it’s so tiny and cute 😂 can definitely feel my stomach stretching constantly at the moment so I think it’ll pop out more soon (along with baby moving up higher I hope 😂)

Have a consultant appointment next week about elective c-section and I’m so nervous as I know how much they will try to talk me out of it (although I have medical reason) but just keeping positive and hoping for an understanding consultant ☺️

Delilah7 · 19/03/2019 18:40

@Giraffle he's moved I think he's still low but he's defo moved hence the pop! however it's still a cute bump. Pretty proud of it! Just stick to what you want. Hear them out at birth can be difficult to 'plan' I guess but if that's what you want have it. X

Mayjane5 · 19/03/2019 20:19

@Giraffle hi, I have to decide on a c section also due to previous emergency one, I’m really undecided I think my appointment is about 34/36 weeks to make the decision. So many pros and cons of both but if you know what you want go for it. My recovery took longer than I thought but knowing what I know I think I could manage it better🤔

Bunnybaubles · 19/03/2019 20:29

@GabbyGal that's great! I'm feeling much more movement now, still have periods where there is nothing tho. Felt today like she is lying like a star fish 😂

I am in so much pain now, I hope this isn't it until I give birth! SPD is quite bad, I've had the most horrendous lower back ache since yesterday and I'm getting constant under the bump cramps that can last up to 20 minutes. So I'm feeling a little miserable just now lol.

Loujonesy · 20/03/2019 07:16

@Giraffle I had that too. Not as bad this time as time before but bad enough. I lived for ondansetron. Best thing ever. I'm quite tired a lot at nearly 22 weeks. Hump getting uncomfortable already. Whoever said pregnancy was easy lol X

GabbyGal · 20/03/2019 08:24

Hi @Giraffle, I’m due the day after you!

SPD seems to be very common, it sounds awful! I don’t have it so far, fingers crossed I’ll escape it. I did have a lot of back pain yesterday but yoga last night seems to have helped so think I just slept funny or something. Really need to invest in a pregnancy pillow.

OP posts:
Bunnybaubles · 20/03/2019 08:50

Had such a bad night last night, must've been up every 20 minutes for the toilet!! I even managed to wake my 9 month old up who just started sleeping through the night again... I couldn't help giggling thinking "yep it's not nice being woken up in the middle of the night, is it?!!" haha.

@Loujonesy I have a huge bump too, this is my 4th baby so maybe something to do with my muscles being non existant.
But I'm wondering, if my SPD is because my baby is still in my pelvis, what on earth is in the big bump that starts under my boobs 😂

rosyedith · 20/03/2019 08:59

@GabbyGal has your due date changed! I thought we were due same day - 20th July x
