@Hayleyhaystack crazy isn’t it almost half way there!! I’m not sure whether to find out or not? This will be our second and last child due to age so may leave it a surprise ☺️

Loujonesy · 07/02/2019 18:05

Just had letter for appointment with consultant as I don't carry full term. Bit nervous about this tbh. Also I was sick again this morning.... What is that about.... I haven't been sick since December ( nauseous yes but not sick ). 😭

BeckyButterfly · 07/02/2019 20:07

@Loujonesy my sickness is really random at the minute. I feel sick every morning until around lunch time when I start to feel a bit better but I am also still being sick but only once or twice a week. I’ve been sick twice today but have also been feeling quite unwell. So who knows what is going on with it?!

Loujonesy · 07/02/2019 20:37

@BeckyButterfly it's very confusing isn't it. Also have severe headaches this week. I thought the tiredness would have subsided by now but still 💤💤 most of the time xx

GabbyGal · 08/02/2019 11:12

@BeckyButterfly I had my 16 week scan this morning and my pics are rubbish as well! But the consultant said baby looks great so that’s the main thing Smile

BeckyButterfly · 08/02/2019 11:55

@GabbyGal aw that’s great news! It is just nice to get a little confirmation that everything is cooking alright in there. I can’t wait to start to feel some movement so that I feel like there is life in there 😊

rosyedith · 10/02/2019 18:28

Has anyone felt baby move yet? I'm 17 weeks and swear I can feel movement sometimes? X

roobine · 10/02/2019 19:03

Hey @rosyedith, yep I think I have and I'm also 17 weeks. Described it to my midwife and she thought it probably was movement too - it's about the right time! Like little fluttery feelings almost like when you have a trapped nerve?

rosyedith · 10/02/2019 19:07

Hi @roobine yeah I can't really describe it. But I didn't have it before I was pregnant and it's always in the same place? Feels a bit like popping....

rosyedith · 10/02/2019 19:07

roobine · 10/02/2019 19:10

That sounds like it is @rosyedith, some people say it feels like bubbles..? So lovely to think!

rosyedith · 10/02/2019 19:19

Yes so exiting @roobine are you finding out? X

Mrsmummy90 · 10/02/2019 21:32

@rosyedith yeh I started feeling movements a week or so ago and I'm 16 weeks with dc2. It's amazing isn't it 😊

Bunnybaubles · 10/02/2019 22:13

@BeckyButterfly same here! Had a private gender reveal scan and was told baby is 'possibly a girl' but I've to get it confirmed at my 20 week scan.

@rosyedith found out at my scan I have an anterior placenta. Totally gutted cause I'll struggle to feel any movement ☹ Thought I felt movement a couple weeks ago but now im thinking it must've just been wind 😂

BeckyButterfly · 10/02/2019 23:06

@Bunnybaubles I think I’ll be a bit gutted if they changed their mind at my 20 week scan. I’m in the mindset that she’s a little lady now which I am quite excited about!

Bunnybaubles · 11/02/2019 16:14

@BeckyButterfly I'm hoping they change their minds at mine, found out after that despite DP saying he doesn't care what it is as long as it was healthy is rubbish and he really wanted a boy!! I'm delighted, I can't wait to dress DD and her new baby sister in matching outfits. Be so cute with them only being 1 year apart 😊

Jummynbean · 12/02/2019 07:49

About to fly off for a babymoon in Tenerife, good luck with your scans every one! Mine isn't till the 28th, no movement yet x

rosyedith · 13/02/2019 17:26

Hi ladies! Had my 16 wk midwife app today (actually 18wks). Heard heart beat ❣ and everything looking good. I have rare blood type so need to have a anti D vaccine at 28 wks... anyone else have this??

MrsMidge0505 · 16/02/2019 07:26

Morning all, think I posted in here ages ago so hopefully you don't mind me dipping back in.Star
Due 20th July. 18 weeks today and its has flown!!!!!!
Not heard our heartbeat, been told that's week 25.
Not felt any flutters!
So grateful to feel well, feel practically as before apart from a mini tum and lower backache every morning! Grrrrr.
Gonna try a pregnancy pillow- are they any good?! Xx

rosyedith · 16/02/2019 07:39

@MrsMidge0505 we're due the same day!! ❣️ I heard heart beat on weds at mw app, would you get a Doppler? I know some people don't agree with them. Are you finding out what your having? X

BeckyButterfly · 16/02/2019 09:07

@MrsMidge0505 I got a pregnancy pillow to try to help with my sciatica and it is good. It just helps to get comfy and feel supported where you need it. Unfortunately it has kind of replaced my husband in our bed, poor fella keeps sleeping in the spare bed 😂

MrsMidge0505 · 16/02/2019 17:08

Hi @rosyedith and @BeckyButterfly
How exciting the same day! It feels a millions miles away to me.
We are having a surprise, first long awaited baby.... my decision! DH wants it here now and to know but I said tough we are having a surprise 🤣.

I bet DH will also try to pinch the pillow but deffo getting one 👌🏼

Do you guys know what you are having?
Have you got prams etc yet?x

rosyedith · 16/02/2019 17:17

@MrsMidge0505 we're having a surprise too! First baby for us 😊 I have pre ordered my pram it's an egg!! what about you?

BeckyButterfly · 16/02/2019 18:06

@MrsMidge0505 we had an additional scan at 16 weeks and MW said she’s pretty sure I’m cooking a little lady but to double check at 20 weeks which isn’t until the 5th of March. Feels like such a long wait, I wish I could go for weekly scans just to see her wriggling around in there.
We’ve decided on our pram but waiting till 20 weeks to order it. We are going for the Oyster 3 (kindly being bought for us by my in-laws) This will be our first baby but not my first pregnancy, I had a miscarriage last July so it feels like we’ve had a journey already just to get to this point 😊

Mayjane5 · 18/02/2019 19:24

How is everyone doing? Seems ages since the first scan and the second I don’t even have a date for it yet have midwife appointment tomorrow presume they will book it in then. Also have a NIPT test next week so will be an anxious week for results.
