Hey ladies, there is a July thread on the ante-natal board if anyone wants to join? (Recognise a few of you already are)

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/3418450-July-2019-early-days-part-2?msgid=82590211#82590211

Regarding the Flo app (and a few other apps) ensure that the setting is on "completed" rather than "current" and then it will read the week you are in according to how MWs work it out.

Flo appears to be a week ahead as it counts CD1 as week1

Hello ladies! Can anyone tell me what vitamins they are taking? I'm currently only taking pregnacare plus omega 3 but should I take something else with them? Thanks

roobine · 15/11/2018 22:39

Hi ladies! I'm 4+6 - found out last week. Generally feeling ok so far apart from sore boobs and a little tired...

roobine · 15/11/2018 22:41

@Winona1 I'm taking the same but the Boots version. Why do they make them so big though?!!! Really struggling to swallow them some mornings 😂

Winona1 · 16/11/2018 07:06

@roobine hello! I know especially when you wanna gag as it is 😂 when are you due?

roobine · 16/11/2018 17:08

@Winona1 around the 19th July I think - hoping we don't have a summer quite as hot as last year ha! What about you?

roobine · 16/11/2018 17:10

@Winona1 sorry just looked at the thread - see you're due on 18th! Congrats 😊 x

horsecrazymumtobe · 16/11/2018 17:15

Hi can I join too! My due date is also 22nd July same as you KinCat!

Not feeling much yet just a bit tired and lack of appetite.

I miscarried at 7 weeks back in August do really anxious but trying to stay positive about this time round.

Winona1 · 16/11/2018 17:37

@roobine 1 day apart!! How exciting 😀

ReginaPhalange89 · 16/11/2018 18:16

Hey ! I just got my bfp yesterday, EDD 29th July !
Not really had any symptoms yet but felt a bit dizzy on/off today and boobs feel slightly achey, not sure if I'm imagining it though as they're not sore if I touch them lol

NoParticularPattern · 16/11/2018 19:15

I just got my BFP today. I have no idea how many weeks I actually am because of my ridiculous wacky cycles due to breastfeeding. I got a negative test a fortnight ago and only a decent line today on a FRER I’m guessing I’m probably 4 weeks? EDD roughly 26/7/19?

I don’t have any symptoms to speak of, feel a bit nauseous perhaps? Can’t say if my boobs are sore because they’re often sore at the moment- DD is 9mo and her favourite thing is to roll my skin between her fingers so she’s bruised me anyway! I have mild crampy feelings but nothing to write home about. More a pulling sensation I guess. I only did this 18 months ago, you’d think I’d remember how early pregnancy felt wouldn’t you?! Just a slight bag of nerves as we had a MC prior to DD so that’s always on my mind too. Quite thankful to have found out at a busy time of year though. We go away for a week in a fortnight then Christmas, new year and DD will be 1 in Feb so hopefully it takes my mind off it!! Wish I’d worked harder to lose more of the baby weight though.... 😬😬

Winona1 · 17/11/2018 08:21

@NoParticularPattern @ReginaPhalange89 congrats on your BFPs!

How is everyone feeling today? My boobs are really sensitive but other than that I don't feel pregnant...

whyohwhypart2 · 17/11/2018 08:51

Took a pregnancy test last night and it was positive!

Haven't slept a wink as I'm sooo EXCITED!

Probably shouldn't get too excited but I can't tell anyone other than my fiance so have to shout about it here Grin

I guess I'm due in August. Congratulations to us allSmile

KinCat · 17/11/2018 08:56

Hi everyone! My boobs have got a bit more sensitive the last day or so but mostly I'm just really tired. No nausea yet.

ReginaPhalange89 · 17/11/2018 09:13

I've had quite sensitive nipples the last 2 days . also feel pretty tired, but that's probably due to my 19 month old who has randomly started waking at 3/4am🙈

MrsC87 · 17/11/2018 09:23

Congrats to all the new BFP's!! 💕
I now need new bras for my boobs as they have grown and kill! Getting rid of underwire I think!! Going to look so attractive 😜🤣

whyohwhypart2 · 17/11/2018 18:40

Nope I'm due in July, not August.

Eeeeeek!

No symptoms at all yet, suppose o should just embrace it while it lasts Grin

mumofone25 · 18/11/2018 09:43

Hi everyone, I’m still in disbelief and have done 4 FRER so far! Symptom wise I am just very tired, nauseous and very bloated. AF is due tomorrow so I am hoping praying she doesn’t come!! Congratulations to everyone ☺️

Winona1 · 18/11/2018 10:16

Hi, I can feel a cold coming on, is there anything I can take for it? Thanks

ReginaPhalange89 · 18/11/2018 12:02

I took a digi today, still a few days before my period so was worried it was too soon! But it showed up 1-2 weeks :) I have another that I'll probably do in a week's time just to confirm the HCG is rising.

When does everyone see a midwife? With my last pregnancy they seen me really early like 4/5 weeks! So I'm assuming if I call tomorrow they'll arrange an appt quite soon.

Pickupthephone · 18/11/2018 12:06

Can I join? I’ve worked out that I’m due 21 July 2019. So I’m 5 weeks today! I’ve got sore boobs and feel knackered and have a mild but ever present nauseous feeling (haven’t actually been sick though). Have first midwife appointment on 13th December (ie around 8 weeks).

My PILs are staying for the whole weekend and I really wish they’d go - desperate for some peace!!

roobine · 18/11/2018 14:57

Congrats to new posters!
@ReginaPhalange89 in my area you can self refer to the midwifery team so I did that as soon as I found out. They offer appointments after 8 weeks so I'm booked in early December... I called my GP and asked the receptionist who to contact and she was really helpful

roobine · 18/11/2018 15:00

@Winona1 I'm not sure - think the advice is to be cautious in the first trimester with meds? It's such a mine field! Have you got a pharmacy you could go to to ask advice? Hope you feel better soon

roobine · 18/11/2018 15:03

How's everyone doing? I've suddenly started feeling really pregnant over the last 48 hours. I'm 5 + 3 now and I'm super hormonal - I've had two rows with my husband this weekend and we don't normally argue. Really weepy and my boobs have gone up a cup size 😯😯 hoping it'll settle 🤞🏻

Winona1 · 18/11/2018 15:08

Thanks @roobine! 😆 I won't take anything to be safe, I feel a bit sick but not sure if it's because of the cold or morning sickness... Sunday roast will sort me out! Hope your doing ok! X
