Has anyone got a hard belly yet? Mines defo bigger but still a little jiggly. If I suck
it in, it's like it's nearly there. I'm size 8/10 if that helps....

BeckyButterfly · 27/01/2019 19:16

@Jummynbean mine depends on what time of day it is. It starts out quite squishy but by the evening ends up pretty solid. It’s weird! I still just feel like I’m excessively bloated though. 14+4 now.

Jummynbean · 27/01/2019 19:25

Yeah same here, I wake up with a smaller belly and it gets bigger through out the day. But not harder. I'm 15+4 and so bloody impatient hahaha. I know I should make the most of this time, but I can't help it!

Porridgeprincess · 27/01/2019 19:37

I feel just thick around the middle and would much prefer a bump please !!

Mayjane5 · 28/01/2019 08:00

@Jummynbean I think it depends on how much or what I’ve eaten that day, sometimes I look a good few months other days just a bit of a belly, as it’s my second I’m presuming I would show quicker and bigger? Can’t stop eating though 😄

rach2019 · 28/01/2019 09:13

I think I can tell that my belly is bigger and harder but I dont think anyone else would notice! Definitely look bigger at night as well

rosyedith · 29/01/2019 18:29

Anyone eaten smoked salmon during pregnancy? I'm craving it but paranoid I'm not allowed it. Nhs website says ok

Jummynbean · 29/01/2019 19:16

Yeah I've eaten salmon, tasty stuff. Just a bit mind, like enough for a bagle

rosyedith · 29/01/2019 19:33

@Jummynbean that's ok then thanks for reassuring me 😄

Bunnybaubles · 29/01/2019 23:09

I'm feeling the first little movements. Anyone else?
So glad cause i was starting to doubt I was pregnant after all my symptoms went away 😂

Mrsmummy90 · 29/01/2019 23:12

How exciting!
I think I've felt a flutter or two. I'm nearly 15 weeks with baby no.2 and I felt them at 16 weeks with dd.

Jummynbean · 29/01/2019 23:38

I felt first little bubbles 2 weeks ago :) I was enjoying it so much until I farted and it stopped 😂

Mrsmummy90 · 29/01/2019 23:46

😂😂😂

Mayjane5 · 30/01/2019 02:04

@Bunnybaubles yep my symptoms seem to have gone don’t really feel pregnant now apart from the giant boobs ☺️ Didn’t feel my first until about 22 weeks I think

Bunnybaubles · 30/01/2019 02:21

@Jummynbean That happened to me with DD, I was devastated, really convinced myself it was her I felt 😂😂😂

@Mrsmummy90 it is really exciting, isn't it! I think the movements and the belly are the best bits! I've noticed when I lie on my belly (when playing with DD) I can feel my bump. Although I do feel the SPD pain getting stronger and more constant ☹

@Mayjane5 I can relate to the giant boobs 😂 I'm currently wearing the super soft stretchy nursing bra I wore after having DD! It is not a pretty bra, no lift or shape and I think my boobs hang lower when I wear it than with nothing. It's all about the comfort from here on in!! Aww my poor boobs!! 😂

BeckyButterfly · 30/01/2019 08:42

@Bunnybaubles I can’t wait to start feeling some movement but only 15 weeks with my first so I’ve got a while to wait. I keep doubting I’m even pregnant because of my lack of symptoms now!
My boobs aren’t even any bigger which I am quite pleased about since they are already a G cup haha.
Also, it terms of bras, I have a couple of lush non-padded, non-underwired ones from M&S which aren’t too ugly and give me a reasonable amount of lift (as much as you could expect for a G cup without underwire anyway!) I got them a little while ago and wear them all the time because of how comfy they are.

BeckyButterfly · 30/01/2019 08:44

This is the bra I have: www.marksandspencer.com/cotton-rich-non-padded-full-cup-bra-b-g/p/p60110204?image=SD_02_T33_7139_Z0_X_EC_90&color=WHITE&prevPage=plp

I like the grey one because it isn’t too unsightly!

GabbyGal · 30/01/2019 09:11

@Jummynbean 🤣🤣

I can’t wait for my symptoms to bugger off, nausea still going strong at 14+4.

Mrsmummy90 · 30/01/2019 10:13

@Bunnybaubles can your gp send you to physio for your spd?

Bunnybaubles · 30/01/2019 16:41

@BeckyButterfly I felt the first movements at 16 weeks with my 1st pregnancy, so you might not have that long to wait 😊 Might invest in a couple of those bras, they look way more comfy than mine plus mine are nursing bras so keep popping open at the front 😂

@Mrsmummy90 I'll wait and see how quickly it gets really bad. Right now just feels like I've over worked my inner thighs and pulled the muscles and the same in my lower back. I had SPD in my last pregnancy and ended up on crutches ☹

Mrsmummy90 · 30/01/2019 17:20

That sounds horrible Sad I hope you find some relief soon xx

jcq17 · 31/01/2019 09:43

Hi ladies,
Just back from my
Midwife apt I'm 15+1. They wouldn't do the Doppler cuz I'm not 16 weeks and I haven't got another midwife apt till 25 weeks I'm a bit gutted! Anyone else had this?

GabbyGal · 31/01/2019 10:15

@jcq17 that’s such a pity, did they give a reason other than you’re not 16 weeks? Like is it just a policy because it’s a policy? I had the Doppler at my 12 week scan and also at my private early scan at 7+3. I’m in Ireland though so might just be different here.

jcq17 · 31/01/2019 10:19

I got the gist that it might take a while and can panic people if they can't find it. Not going back for ten weeks will
Be a killer! I work at a hospital so I do have access to a doppler but I don't really want to
Do it as I'm untrained.

BeckyButterfly · 31/01/2019 10:24

I just had my 16 week appointment and I’m 15+1. The MW said that she can’t listen in until 22 weeks.
