Just got Very first BFP!! Due May 2019 anyone else??

Just wanted to start a new thread for anyone who has just got their BFP.
What do I do now?
When do I phone the Drs?
Help would be great 👍🏻😃

Although I’m only 11dpo and have not technically missed a period yet 🙈

Will be due 20th May. How about you?

If you call your gp surgery and ask to be booked in with the midwife they will make you an appointment for when you’re between 7 -10 weeks pregnant. Congrats!

My 'Flo' app tells me 22nd May, but it's also telling me I'm 5+5 already even though my FDLP was 9/8 so that would make me 4+5 wouldn't it?!! I don't know lol.

I make you 4+4 from lmp. I think?

To get your edd the easiest way is to count 9 months and 7 days from the FDLP.

Is this your first?

I have 3 children already, and miscarried my 4th in April, so this is a bittersweet pregnancy.

Hi I got a very faint BFP Sunday and this morning so if all goes to plan we should be due may 2019 as well 😀😀😀 whoop whoop so happy!
This will be our first 😀😀

@TheHalfBloodPrincess so if I do that it works out at 16th May. I'm not bothered either way, my mum had both me and my brother early, my grandma had my mum and auntie early so I'm guessing it runs in the fam and I'm going to ignore my DD anyway!! Haha

Baby will come when it’s ready. I had my first at 37 weeks, my second at 38 weeks and my 3rd at 1 day less than 42 weeks! I felt like I was pregnant forever with him 😂

I was told that I'm infertile on 31/8/18, only to get my BFP on 5/9/18!!!

I'm due 4/5/19, currently 6+3

I think they were beginning to clutch at straws to be honest.

I've had issues since I started my periods aged 8, everything from 100+ day-long periods to years with no bleeding and no explanation, alongside cysts etc.

I had a scan and they told me my ovaries were fried and I had zero chance of conceiving.

We weren't planning to conceive for a few years yet, but it was on our agenda. Chuffed to bits though when I found out how wrong they were!!!

My doc phoned and said she thought they'd misinterpreted my scan, and could I take a test. Turns out I've one ovary on the small-side, but that's it!

I got mine today, can’t believe it was starting to think it was never going to happen !

I’m about 4+2 so will be due around end of May but already feeling so sick & I just know I’m never going to sleep tonight.

I'm going to seem incredibly stupid, this is all a first for me - but what does BFP stand for? The midwife has never used that term with me yet 😂 is it the due date?

She predicts I'm going to be around 19th April - but if family history holds steady they'll most likely arrive in May too!

Hello all and congrats! I am also due May 2019...early days for me as I am only 4 + 2 days! It will be my first after an mc in April. Anyone else feel really sick if they don’t eat?? Had this for the first time yesterday. And a runny nose.

Me too! BFP Thursday when my period was a few days late. Due 12 May but cannot relax until my 12 week scan! Took us 11 months to get a BFP so desperately hoping it is all ok in there. I've registered with the midwife and now it's just a waiting game.

Anyone having symptoms?

Eleosto no sickness yet but not appetite. I'm having to force down food which is very unlike me. Mild cramping though and very sore boobs. So far it's like PMT tbh.

Oh my god I only found out yesterday but I’ve had awful flu like symptoms (fever, hot-cold-hot-cold, aches & pains) aswell as nausea ! I’ve had about 1 hour sleep tonight Sad

What about you ?

All I’ve had so far is a lot of hot flushes and sore boobs 😀 I’m not sure if I want lots of symptoms so I know I’m pregnant or none so I can chill lol

@Mikewazowskismrs I'm not feeling sick yet but my goodness my nips are soooooo tender!! But the rest of my actual boob is ok 🙃

@Eleosto I have had quite the runny nose (Not good when I've not long had my septum pierced!)

@Mumu0 sorry to hear about your mc. Keeping everything crossed for you this time round🤞🏻

@SundayGirlB how did you register with the midwife? I've only just phoned my drs and have that appointment next Thursday. I'm also so nervous, it's only taken us 4 months but last month I had a very early mc at about 4+4 ish. I'm past that point now but still quite nervous about it.

I'm still getting cramp like pain but nothing else, and it comes and goes so I'm not dwelling on it too much.

@Bouncer4me my bestie is around 4.5 months at the mo and she was saying that she didn't even have one day of morning sickness... she was so lucky and I hope she passes that on to me!! (Although I could do with losing a few Lbs so it might be welcome on the scales haha)

I got my bfp last week in now 5+2 ☺️ my dr said to phone when I'm 8w as they won't do anything before that. Due middle of may 19

@babysquid I went for an appointment with the GP but it was v fast - no test as apparently home kits are reliable enough, blood pressure, weight and height and a quick don't smoke or drink and take vitamins. She told me to register with the midwife by filling out a maternity exemption form at reception. The midwife then contacts me by phone or letter around week 10. But other to surgeries may differ. I am wishing the weeks away!

Hi, I am five weeks today. I had a missed miscarriage in June so feeling extremely nervous. I have booked private scans my first one in 2.5weeks. Had been feeling nauseous every morning but today I don't and even that makes me apprehensive. I hate these 12 weeks!
