Ps were 23 & 27 been together for 7 years and ttc since June. We are planning our wedding and our house is up for sale too🙈
Looking forward to getting to know you all🌻

RiverMeadow · 16/09/2018 10:44

@Bettyhop Congratulations! Fingers crossed for you, sorry about your MC Sad

alienm · 16/09/2018 11:05

Due 11/5/19, first pregnancy, so hoping for the best. Bar some serious tiredness and trapped wind (tmi, I know!), I’ve felt fine.
Where I live there’s a phone number for the midwife service where you register, rather than going through your GP, so all booked in for first appointment at around 9 weeks, and scan at end October!

Opheliasgoldenwine · 16/09/2018 12:53

@TwinkleBear I think we have the same due date, unless the scan says otherwise!

EspressoPatronum · 16/09/2018 15:10

Wow @bettyhop you're going to be busy! Congratulations, hope this one is a sticky bean.

@doglady28 you're far now likely to get a false negative than false positive, you're pregnant! I'm waiting till maybe 6 weeks before getting in touch with the doctor. Not sure how it works here as we've moved area since having ds...

BabySquid · 16/09/2018 15:25

@Bettyhop congratulations and welcome to the new thread. I remember you from the ttc one, so nice to see you've got your BFP. When is the wedding??

OP posts:
TwinkleBear · 16/09/2018 19:18

@Opheliasgoldenwine amazing! My cycle is a bit irregular about 35 days rather than 28, so based on that, app is predicting 9th May!yay! This is my first pregnancy and I'm so nervous I think it's just going to be non-stop worrying until the 12-13 week mark / scan. Praying all goes well for all of us!

Lorrie3 · 16/09/2018 21:58

Oh ladies help im in shock! Just got a very strong BFP!
I missed my August period and jusy about due Sept! Did 5 neg tests and went to docs ten days ago..negetive. I'm so confused dont know what to think!

BabySquid · 17/09/2018 06:34

@Lorrie3 congratulations. All I can think is that you just didn't have a period in August, maybe there wasn't enough lining to shed? Then you ovulated again after that and this positive is the result. So 10 days ago would have been too early to test. I'd go with it as a true positive. 👍🏻

@dreamdaisy you can have them from 6 weeks and they usually call them reassurance scans. I hope you find one close to you

@india1819 yaaa! What good thinking! Glad you got away with it and when you do tell them they will all be even more over joyed Smile

Youvegotafriendinme · 17/09/2018 07:38

I have had some serious smell aversions this weekend and my bladders been even more agitated and of course, all while I was at work. I also work with my best friend and I keep seeing her giving me these looks as if to say ‘I know!’ Haha. just 6 more weeks at least!

Bettyhop · 17/09/2018 07:46

Thank you all for the congratulations🎉 the wedding will be March 2020 so hopefully just at the end of mat leave🤞
How is everyone feeling? I'm feeling constantly hungry and nauseous when i havent eaten for a few hours. Struggled to eat my porridge this morning too. Occasional lower down very mild cramps, a little lower backache and differences in my sleep pattern. I'm exhausted by 7.30 every night and up by 5.30/6am with no alarm!! Very unusual 😂
At epu this morning so hopefully i will have some lovely news to report back later. Hope this week is good to everyone💛

TwinkleBear · 17/09/2018 08:22

Congratulations @Bettyhop thats so exciting! Definitely let us know how it goes at EPU!

I'm still feeling worryingly ok, it's one of those things, you want the symptoms to know everything's alright but also don't want them hahah.

I had a few lower abdominal cramps last week and up until about a week ago, I was waking up very early around 4:30/5 am without an alarm. Though now I'm back to struggling to wake up around 6 hahah. No major nausea or smell aversions or anything. Although I definitely am not craving tea the same way I used to - just hot chocolate now to keep me warm!

And that's definitely a strong positive @Lorrie3 congratulations!!!! You can take a few more tests just to be sure, but chances of a false positive are very small.

Doglady28 · 17/09/2018 11:30

Well my period is due today as it's cycle day 28. Last cycle was shorter though and AF appeared at 25 days.
So I've bought a FRER from boots but there are 3 in the pack 🤗
So I'm going to test in the morning. Hubby isn't really believing it until he sees more than one positive test so I think I'll do one tomorrow and see what that says and go from there!
Got a terrible headache today and feeling "blurgh"
Keeping all my fingers crossed that I get my positive tomorrow!!!

BabySquid · 17/09/2018 13:07

Well ladies I've just had the most panic stricken two hours... had a bit of brown spotting... which when I checked after that, was a bit more and red... so of course as we women do, thinking the worst, couldn't concentrate on work, googling everything!!!
Went to check again and it's gone!! Why do our bodies insist on fu**ing with us like this?!!!???!!! Had my husband googling everything and all he comes back with is "it's normal apparently!"

OP posts:
Lorrie3 · 17/09/2018 13:23

Oh no @babysquid... our bodies are quite simply the most confusing things ever!!

Just back from the GP and BFP confirmed, due April 30th!
Still am in a total state of shock

BabySquid · 17/09/2018 13:27

Yaaaay congrats @Lorrie3 bet you're so relieved? And you're further than you thought? Are you booked in for your scan and did they tell you what would happen next?

OP posts:
Lorrie3 · 17/09/2018 13:38

@babysquid relieved its nothing sinister but so surprised. We weren't really trying... I had missed to pills but had planned to start trying so we are happy (once the shock goes I think)
The GP when I went 2 weeks ago was so confident it was negative told me to go away and enjoy myself etc and my AF would come when I stopped worrying!

I'm in Ireland, so they just filled out all the paperwork and sent it to the hospital and said I should hear from them in about 4 weeks for a scan. i asked for an earlier scan because there is a high risk of twins but she wasnt sure they could push it.

Bettyhop · 17/09/2018 14:16

Okay so the icy was 1540! So I am going for a scan this afternoon. Also had my first proper nauseous experience (running to toilet😷)! Can't believe how amazing this feels after the mc🌻
Has the spotting settled @babysquid? If you're worried deffo call the go and you could go to epu for some reassurance x

TwinkleBear · 17/09/2018 14:39

Hoping everything's alright @BabySquid . I had the same yesterday, a bit of brown spotting, and I was really starting to panic, but we had some fun the night before, and there wasn't any more after the first bit, so I've calmed down a bit and told hubby no more until after 13 weeks!!! ShockConfused still no major symptoms but I could definitely feel some discomfort in my boobs today. Not seeing midwife for another 4 weeks! 6+4 today according to app.

TwinkleBear · 17/09/2018 14:42

@Bettyhop sorry hope you don't mind me asking what is icy 1540? So anxious, waiting for that first appointment.

Doglady28 · 17/09/2018 14:45

Well it's official, 2 BFPs, undeniably preggers! The one I took today was with afternoon wee too!
Head is spinning! Also feeling rough today, head is pounding!
But so excited. Looks like I'm due 28th May xxx

Just got Very first BFP!! Due May 2019 anyone else??
Bettyhop · 17/09/2018 14:50

Icy 😂😂 I meant hcg! X

BabySquid · 17/09/2018 14:53

@Bettyhop I too am quite intrigued to know what icy 1540 is??

Thanks @TwinkleBear it seems to have stopped now. Not checked in a while tho as I don't want people I work with thinking I have serious bladder issues haha
