Congrats on the baby boy @felicityheather I love feeling movement. It’s so reassuring. I remember enjoying the 2nd trimester in my first pregnancy so I’m trying to enjoy it before I get too big and uncomfortable! I had some teacher’s come into my class today interviewing for my job when I go on maternity leave. I feel so protective of my class so it was weird watching other people teach knowing they’ll soon be taking over! Xx

Hey
How’s everyone getting on now? I can’t believe I’m 30 weeks now 😀 wow

TequilaMockingburd · 14/03/2019 14:29

I wondered where this thread had gone.... awwww I can’t believe I’m 30 weeks either, although I feel like I have been pregnant forever! How are you feeling @bouncer4me?

Lorrie3 · 14/03/2019 15:29

30 weeks whoop. Anybody think we would never get here! I'm feeling generally good have some super days and other says where I am wrecked! Does anybody else suffer with guilt from napping ? Some days I need a nap after work or just do nothing when I come home! Other days like yesterday i can go all day until bedtime full of energy! I've a very supportive partner and no other DC but when im tired or napping I always feel super guilty even tho I know its normal in pregnancy? It's a very odd mental battle and just wondering if anybody experienced similar

TequilaMockingburd · 14/03/2019 15:58

I fell asleep at my desk last week and woke myself up snoring.....😳I am blaming the constant weeing through the night for sleep deprivation.

felicityheather · 14/03/2019 19:05

29 weeks here!

Yes, also major napping going on here. I was sat on the sofa snoring this afternoon, convinced I wasn't actually asleep. When I woke up, it had been ninety minutes!

Also I nap in my car at work sometime on lunch. Woke up by honking the horn with my head! Terrifying!!

TequilaMockingburd · 14/03/2019 19:31

But I’ve not bought a thing.... was measuring 2 weeks ahead at 32 weeks and am living in a building site. I’ve all the time to nap but I need to make a list 😭

Bouncer4me · 14/03/2019 22:02

I’m so so at the moment thanks tequilamockingburd just so knackered at times even though I do bugger all. Can’t wait for that first cuddle with our little girl 😀

Mummytoboyxx · 15/03/2019 06:17

30+1 here and I’ve not got anything sorted! When I was pregnant with DS1 by now the nursery was complete and hospital bag packed. This time round I just don’t seem to have the time. And yes...the tiredness is definitely there. My body just aches all over by the end of the day xx

felicityheather · 15/03/2019 09:36

I've not bought or packed either. People are getting annoyed with me but I'm happier in my avoidance bubble!

Bouncer4me · 29/03/2019 03:35

These bloody dreams and not being able to sleep at all is really killing me 🙁🙁 tonight I had to turn my Harry Potter audiobook off because I was having a bad dream about a werewolf breaking into the house and killing us all 🙁🙁🙁 ffs

Bouncer4me · 02/05/2019 16:50

Damn it looks like I’m going to be in hospital until little bump is born now ☹️☹️ Bloody pre eclampsia ☹️☹️ But on a good note they are really looking after me well and I’m getting to not have to cook any meals whoop whoop

felicityheather · 02/05/2019 17:32

Ah no @Bouncer4me. Sorry you're stuck in hospital. I've been having lots of checks for pre eclampsia but no diagnosis yet. Are you close to term? Are they looking to induce you?

Bouncer4me · 02/05/2019 18:01

Hi felicityheather
I’m 37&2 and I was booked in for a c section on the 10th May but that all depends on how my blood pressure recovers as to whether they do it sooner or not. And I have a cat at home so am really really missing him ☹️
My blood pressure when my midwife took it yesterday was 165/105 and apparently my protein was 190 when it should normally be 35 ish which was a shock.
I hope you manage to avoid it 🤞🤞🤞

felicityheather · 02/05/2019 18:18

Got my fingers crossed @Bouncer4me and for you as well. I hope things run smoothly and they look after you. Is this your first baby?

Bouncer4me · 02/05/2019 19:06

Thanks 😀 yes she is 😀 they are doing a great job so far
