Hey, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant and that I’ll be due in May. I’ve had 4 miscarriages and have no children so I’m really nervous! It’s still really early but would love to talk to other people due in May. Even though I know it’s still really early and lots of people may not know their due date yet!

Happy New Year to you all! We had our 20 week scan last week and it shows I have high resistance in the blood flow in the arteries to the baby, which apparently increases my risk of a slow/not growing baby and/or pre-eclampsia, so that has been a bit of a worry! I've got a consultant appt on the 8th (because of me having a BMI above 30 I think?!) so I'm hoping to be able to discuss it all with the consultant then!x

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a nice New Years xxx
We were away in a hotel for Xmas to see partners family on Christmas Day. The stay was in a very nice hotel which was my 'present'. A lovely gesture but I don't think my partner thought it through.
I got to look after our 9m old in a hotel room without the creature comforts of home which was harder work!
There was a lovely double bath jacuzzi which would've been great to relax in. Shame I didn't get to use it without the baby! HmmGrin

We had our 20wk scan last week. All looking good. Most likely a girl but not totally sure, so we've booked a private scan.
Got a good groupon deal and found an extra discount code too, so it's £40 instead of £99 👍🏻😄
Baby has been pretty active. Lots of popping sensations and little wriggles. All of which I'd put down to wind with my first 😆 It's nice to know what I'm feeling this time.
Struggling for names. We did with our baby boy too. I just don't like any names despite looking through 1000 baby names over and over. I give up for now. Hoping a name will sort of find me x
It's hard after 20 years working in childcare. Every name reminds you of someone 😜🙄😶
Well, happy new year everyone x

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. We went away for Christmas and because it was long-haul, we paid to have a scan at 18 weeks before we went to make sure all was well. Though we had no preference as it's our first, we found out we are having a little girl. She is so active and never sits still! I have my 20 week scan on Friday and hoping they confirm that everything is well.

Baby girl says hi everyone!

Hey ladies,

Just wondering how is everyone doing? I guess we've settled nicely in our respective pregnancies?

I'm 27 weeks today and feeling massive already! Baby is extremely active and despite feeling the movements reassuring, I cannot get used to seeing my belly move around with every kick and rolls... My husband loves it but I've got to close my eyes or it makes me feel queasy and like I'm reenacting John hurt in Alien....

I don't sleep well either with restless legs at night and baby moving all around the place.

Wouldn't change a minute of it though :)

I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your pregnancies xx

PregoBaker · 06/02/2019 12:54

Heya! I'm about 24 weeks!
I've got a wee wriggler! I can feel her just now but my hubby can't just yet, as I was on the tubby side to begin with anyway Wink
Tbh I kind of love feeling her move about! But I can understand the alien reference Grin
Well I'm right there with you on the restless legs!! I can't get comfy at night and keep waking myself up to move and change side and waking up with a numb leg or cramp (pregnancy is glorious!)
But I'm getting really excited to Meet my little one, not long now!
Right now I'm having problems with midwifes! Major respect for everything they do, but OMG someone gives me one more contradictory appointment, I may scream!!
Hope everyone is well!! Can't beleive we are only about 3 months out before due dates!! Shock much love xxxxxx

Hi ladies
Hope you are all doing well. Just something that might help, I’m almost 26 weeks. I was really suffering bad with restless legs and leg cramps. I was advised to increase my water and this definitely helped but didn’t cure it but what did work was an electric blanket on my bed! Only put it on for the first tome this week but omg the relief!! Put it on an hour before u need it or for as long as u can if cramps start and get into bed with nothing on... seriously the relief I get is unreal. Turning it off as soon as u get into bed so as not to over heat but since I’ve been using this I’ve slept through every night which I hadn’t been due to sore legs

PregoBaker · 07/02/2019 12:58

Thanks @Lorrie3 I'm gonna give this a try!
Just waking up every hour just now, hope this works fingerscrossed
Thanks again
Xxx

Lorrie3 · 07/02/2019 13:16

@PregoBaker hope it works let us know. That or maybe a hot water bottle. I got gifted a ‘warmie’ For Xmas it’s a hot water bottle that’s body length!

PregoBaker · 07/02/2019 13:26

@Lorrie3 ooo that sounds good!! (Now looking up warm is on amazon Grin) my aunt has an electric blanket she says she'll let me borrow, try and if it works get my own. Thanks for the help!

Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing good? Eeek time is ticking by!

Quick question on moses basket mattresses... seriously hope someone has the same one as i'm driving myself insane.

I have a clair de lune wicker basket and (without knowing much about what a moses basket mattress should be like!) I'm not that impressed with the one that came with it.

I have starting looking to buy a better one but not sure where to look as the sizing seems so particular and some websites go off the size of the base of the basket and not the mattress size???

Do any of you have the same basket and have replaced the mattress?

Thanks.
