First babies due in April

Hi all, so I've only just found out I'm pregnant! 3.5 weeks so still early on but looking for others in the same stages as me. Marginally terrified, apprehensive and anxious but majorly excited for my journey with little bean!

@unicornxo only 4 Weeks today so really early on still. Feel really weird like I can't actually count myself as pregnant as it's still so early but my partner keeps reminding me that I am pregnant if that makes sense. I've tested with internet cheapies every morning since Monday as have got some spare so once they are gone I'm going to just have to play the waiting game until 7 week scan. Feels surreal!

Hello everyone, I'm due 18th April next year. Just found out on Monday. Has everyone contact their doctor yet? No idea what to do and feeling very stupid! I kind of assumed you just do a booking in appt online?

I went to the doctors this morning and I’m 5 weeks so also due around the same time. They just took some general info off me and told me to book in to see the midwife and gave me a pack of loads of leaflets and paperwork to read through and keep with me.
All new to me aswell so just kind of winging it.

I rang the doctors the day after I found out and they happened to have an appointment that day. She just sent off a notification of pregnancy to the midwife and took my blood pressure and weight. I've actually made a phone appointment with my usual doctor as the locum didn't seem to know much!

@LowPainThreshold congratulations  we have the same due date!! Have you had any symptoms yet?

I hope everyone’s feeling well! I had a dating scan today (we had no idea about dates as AF is very irregular). I am about 7 weeks and due on April 2nd!! Morning sickness is taking over my life at the moment, I feel like I never leave the bathroom🤢🤢

Ahhh ok. Have made an appointment for Monday now. It's a doctor I've never seen before, so a bit anxious and might change it to someone different. I guess it doesn't really matter too much. I don't have the best faith in doctors really.

@unicornxo Ahh due date buddies! I actually took the test because I went into Marks and Spencers for some food and literally everything in there made me want to vom, which never happens to me in M&S ever. I just felt a bit different as well, but couldn't put my finger on it. Since then my boobs are killing me, I am having some serious hot flushes and waking up drenched, and having quite a lot of cramping. Sneezing hurts a lot. Not looking forward to this getting worse! How are you feeling?

Hi @jellybeann - I have heard great things about Vitamin B6! Have you looked into it at all?

@LowPainThreshold yes!! I’m going to do a little shopping tomorrow and buy a few different things that are supposed to help with sickness, hopefully something works!!

Good luck with your Drs appointment! I hate seeing Doctors I’ve not seen before, when we went to our first appointment with our GP she was really rude :( We felt like she was trying to persuade us to have a termination, and went as far as saying we’d be silly not to consider it because if it’s early on they’re “just so simple” and have no consequences! We put it down to the fact that she’s a little bit of a grump or thought we’re too young to be having a baby

Hey! We found out last night that I’m pregnant. Me and my husband have been together 8 years and we have two dogs but no children haha. This lil’ cluster of cells clinging in there is so very wanted. I’m 4 weeks tomorrow, so estimate to be due around 27-29 April I think @donna474 I must be a day behind you!!

Symptoms seem to be easing today - which I was initially worried about but I have read it canhappen! I’ve been off work for bad dizziness all week ; that was my first indicator. Otherwise it felt exactly exactly like AF was coming so, although we were very much trying, it’s come as a shock. But two FRERs and a CBD don’t alllllll lie. Hah.

Excited to share the highs and lows with you all! Such a miracle isn’t it, think of the odds that we’ve all defied. Blows my mind 😂.

@jellybean fingers crossed for you with the vit b! And also... just wow at your GP!! That's awful. And also totally inappropriate. I really feel for you. Hopefully you'll get a really lovely MW, and defo swerve that GP in the future.

Hi everyone, I’m jumping from March to April.

I went for early scan today, expecting to be 8 + 4. I was so convinced something would be wrong but we saw it and it’s flicker of a heart beat. I’m measuring 6 weeks though. I’m annoyed at myself for being disappointed because everything was normal but I feel like I’ve gone back in time!! New due date is 10th April.

I'm 4+6 weeks with my first pregnancy. Have know since 3 weeks as I have short cycles! Im due 18th April. I've got my midwife booking in appointment next Wednesday.

Think I will also go for a private 7 week scan just to put my mind at rest. Currently having bouts of morning sickness, although have managed not to puke. Also very sore boobs!

I am 4+3 with due date 21st April - but ovulated quite late so I’m expecting not to be quite that far along 😊

I am booked in for an early reassurance scan next Friday as I have been through 2 miscarriages this year 😢. Really hoping it’s 3rd time lucky for me and this one sticks. X

Hi everyone! I got my BFP yesterday and am also 4+3 with a due date of around 21 April. Had my 1st GP appt today and have been referred to a local midwife. So excited but also still understand it is early days. It's weird as I have a few symptoms (tiredness, bloating, headache and sore nipples) but it all feels a bit surreal.

Random question, another symptom I have is the top of my feet near my toes the skin is really itchy! Anyone else experienced this?

@Chivari it's weird you say about the itchy skin above your toes, I had this last Tuesday when at a spa and remember getting really annoyed with it as was trying to relax (unaware of little bean at the time).
@Dancer31 fingers crossed that you get the reassurance needed.
Dreading the impending morning sickness!

Hi im currently 4w+5d pregnant with first baby and due 15th of April.

Found out yesterday with a First Response test that I was pregnant. We also hadn't really been trying, but I'd come off birth control last month. Was waiting for AF and when that didn't come and I was noticing I was tender in my breasts with cramps.... took a test to be on the safe side and BOY am I glad I did... Going to Family Planning today to confirm, but so far I'm 3 for 3 saying positive...Due mid April. Mildly terrified. More terrified since I am meant to be flying in Feb to visit my family for Chinese New Year....

I had itchy toes just before I found out too thinking about it. It was driving me mad itchy them. Maybe it is a pregnancy symptom? X

I think it is a pregnancy symptom @Dancer31 and @donna474. My feet are driving me mad tonight. So so itchy! My DH keeps telling me off for scratching 😂

We also got pregnant VERY quickly. I came off BC and we conceived within 2 weeks. We were trying, but we were militant about it. I used the Flo app to help me guess when I was ovulating and we just upped DTD over this time. So excited! I am now using the Pregnancy+ app which is amazing. So informative.

I meant to say were WEREN'T militant about it lol 🤦🏽‍♀️
