Hi everyone, first time posting in the 'due in september threads'. I'm currently 14 +2 and due date is 15th September

@snowy1982 I'm NI too. Think the only NCT group is in South Belfast. This is my 2nd baby so no NHS group for me. Have signed up to do an aquabellies course at the start of April.

AnnaLuna · 22/03/2018 09:35

TheBlindspot, PM’d you :)

Helen290 · 22/03/2018 09:45

@snowy1982 I'm still having nausea and I'm nearly 17 weeks,I find I get worse towards the end of the week which I think is linked to being tired I seem to fine at the beginning but it's definitely better in the last two weeks, so yes I do think it's linked to be tired and hungry.

snowy1982 · 22/03/2018 10:11

@helen290, I don’t think hunger is a factor for me, I don’t let myself get hungry these day Grin but it definitely flairs up when i’m extra tired.

@therabbit, i’m not sure what I think of this scheme tbh (i’ll update after tuesday), I imagine it will be a lot of sitting around waiting for everyone to have they routine checks before the class starts, the letter said to leave 2.5 hours for each appointment, really eats into the working day. Part of me wishes I had gone for traditional antinatal appointments plus evening classes, but they seemed really keen on this approach so I went for it

TheRabbitOfNegativeEuphoria · 22/03/2018 10:34

@snowy1982 that does sound a bit inconvenient. When I had my first in 2014 we just did 2 antenatal classes and both were in the evening. Will be interesting to hear how it goes Smile

snowy1982 · 22/03/2018 10:39

@therabbit, their really pushing the bonding with the baby in the womb thing. I don’t mind the inconvenience so much myself, i’m my own boss so have a good element of flexibility, it’s just harder for DH he really wants to go to all appointments and classes but he started a new job lately and it’s much more awkward for him now

Hello ladies - I can officially join in today after waiting for weeks for the results of a CVS test to check that everything was OK from a genetic point of view because of some family history!

16 + 1 today & due on 5th September. So excited that we're no longer in limbo & we can start getting excited & getting on with planning stuff. It's been a long few months!

Sharon1983 · 22/03/2018 11:32

Hello All i have this week discovered i am pregnant...my last period was beginning of february. How did i find out...i went to visit my parents and felt queasy on the 4 hour journey back home. Walked through the door and havent stopped being sick since 🤮 its a great joy for my husband and me as i have rheumatoid arthritis and had a knee replacment 9 years at the age of 24 😔 we had been trying for 2 years and recently decided to ask our GPs to refer us but naturally before our referral appointment i am preganant. Now i am worried about my job, arthritis and how this will affect my joints.

greeny506 · 22/03/2018 12:35

12 week scan tomorrow - when I'll be 14 weeks. Have just come back from holiday but now I've unpacked and done a wash, getting very nervous about the scan! Have had much less nausea and vomiting over past few weeks (I think the sunshine and business of the holiday helped!) but still makes me paranoid....!!!

greeny506 · 22/03/2018 12:35

*13 weeks tomorrow - sorry not 14! Blame the night flight!

SiolGhoraidh · 22/03/2018 13:15

I picked up my super sexy tubigrip off the physio last week, and am wearing it today to help with pelvic girdle pain.

Doing wonders for my hips, but the compression over my stomach is not helping the sickness Envy

Sushirolls · 22/03/2018 14:37

Just dipping in quick! Back from my daughter's scan and all looks ok 🎉 such a relief! Proper 20 week anomaly scan is the end of next month, but I presume they'd be able to see if there was a problem today? Just for fun, do you think I'm going to have a grandson or granddaughter? He/she will be well loved, either way 💕 Hope everyone is well xo

Congratulations!!! I don't want to say

mamaiFifi · 22/03/2018 20:36

Had my scan today all looking good.

Any nub/skill theorists wanna give a shot at the sex?

What would people opinion on going on a foreign holiday (Spain type thing) at 27 weeks in July? Playing with the idea atm x

PinkyPromise77 · 23/03/2018 09:05

Glad all is well @mamaiFifi :) As for holidays I would check with your Doctor to make sure you will be fine flying. Also you will need doctor's certificate to confirm you will be ok to fly and your due dates. Hope you are able to have a nice holiday before little one arrives :)

Depends which holiday company you book with as well. Me and hubby had a cruise booked but had to cancel when I found out I was pregnant. They wouldn’t allow people over 24 weeks pregnant on I think it was. And I’d have been past that by the time the holiday came around

ResurrectedGoldfish · 23/03/2018 17:50

Hi! I had my scan yesterday and my due date got moved from 4/10/18 to 28/9/18, so I was wondering if I could join you guys? This is my third, I’ve got 2 boys aged 4 and 3, and this one has decided to spring up just as I’m preparing to write my masters dissertation. Excellent timing, am terrified and very very happy at the same time xx

Scoobysue10 · 23/03/2018 18:10

Afternoon ladies. Not been on here in a while. How is everyone doing. 😀

CJ1990 · 23/03/2018 19:03

Hi I'm 14 weeks due September 19th with my first baby, excited and nervous. Currently suffering from a churning stomach, anyone had pains or vomiting second trimester?

Gracey88 · 23/03/2018 21:18

@PinkyPromise77 hope you have a wonderful holiday with no sickness.

Do you know if you want a boy or girl or don't mind?

polkadotpixie · 24/03/2018 07:47

Got our Harmony test results yesterday and baby is a healthy little boy 💙

I had hoped for a girl but I'm so pleased he's healthy and will need to start learning about boys as I have a sister and no male cousins so I don't know anything about boys!

PinkyPromise77 · 24/03/2018 08:09

Congratulations @Gracey88! Hope all is going well with you.

For me it's a bit of a working weekend as we are teaching with my husband at a dance event but hope I will manage to squeeze a few hours nap here or there so won't have to run to the toilet between workshops 😂

I don't know if it's a boy or girl yet but we will find out in 2 weeks as we have a private scan booked to find out :) no churning stomach here but I think the tiredness makes my sickness worse... annoying as I'm 15 weeks so would think it should get better lol...

I'm supposed to have my 16 week appt with my midwife next week but she only works at my doctors surgery on a Friday so next week is out due to good Friday. However I'm not able to make an appt for the week after either as the surgery have no record of her working that week or the one after. I've tried to contact her but no response. Any ideas?
