@snowy1982 I'm not being sick anymore but I'm still really struggling with nausea and I'm 14+1 now

SiolGhoraidh · 21/03/2018 13:14

@snowy1982 I'm 16 weeks, and still a bit pukey on occasion. It's definitely eased off though. My main trigger is people asking about it! Grin

Who do I pm to get added to the FB group? I don't use my real name on here.

TheBlindspot · 21/03/2018 13:32

@SiolGhoraidh PM me to join the group x

TheBlindspot · 21/03/2018 13:33

@AnnaLuna Drop me a PM to join the group x

Yes @snowy1982! Im 14+5 today and just been sick at work. been much better last few days but was also sick once at the weekend and had to take one of my tablets on Saturday and one yesterday when I was feeling very nauseous... the weekend thing happened after 10h sleep so I do wonder if food had something to do with it as today I thought I wasn't 'feeling' my lunch so it went back out...

@Baby2018- exciting. Booked on for some free nhs classes today. Going to book NCT soon also. Heard that they can fill up quickly.

missamy94 · 21/03/2018 20:28

Hi ladies, hope everyone is ok and now most of us should be over 12 week symptoms are starting to settle! Im still extremely tired all of the time and (much to the annoyance of my other half) I have really bad wind? Has anyone else suffered? Any tips to on how reduce it?

snowy1982 · 21/03/2018 20:33

What are the NCT classes exactly? I’m in NI and they don’t seem to get mentioned here so not sure what they are

cakeanytype · 21/03/2018 20:39

@snowy1982 NCT is National Childbirth Trust. It's an organisation that gives advice to parents, runs nearly new sales etc. As the NHS has stopped running antenatal classes in my area, NCT has stepped in to fill the gap. Unfortunately there is a cost to these classes though. My classes are £193 for 5x 2 hour classes in July and a reunion once the babies are born. Thankfully the NHS are still doing the waterbirth class here so I don't need to pay for a separate one of those.

Thank you for the welcome @pinkypromise77 Flowers

I'm not sure anyone could call me wise 🙈😂 but I'm all ears and happy tic hand hold 💕

My daughter has an appt with a fetal medicine consultant tomorrow, I'm feeling very apprehensive 😢 x

Sushirolls · 21/03/2018 21:56

Lovely pics @cakeanytype 😍

snowy1982 · 22/03/2018 06:23

@niclw, thanks. I definitely haven’t heard of that here but I will give it a google and see. The NHS still do anti natal classes in my area, in fact they are trying this new scheme for FTM where the antinatal care and classes are done together and I have my first class with my 16 week appointment next Tuesday

Ktn35 · 22/03/2018 06:57

Checking into new thread! X

cakeanytype · 22/03/2018 07:00

Thanks sushi... been a long journey ... but finally feel like I'm getting there ... is anybody on here good at the nub theory or skull theory ... I forgot to ask which side the placenta was on for the ramzi theory ...

cakeanytype · 22/03/2018 07:00

Or am I the only one obsessed with gender guessing 😬

PinkyPromise77 · 22/03/2018 07:18

Oh I would like to know too @cakeanytype 🙋🏼 I'm super curious if any of those guesses would be right lol obviously also have my preference and would be cool to see what ways are there to predict 😁

I do this every time ... this is my fifth bby and I have four girls ... the sonographer nearly choked whn I told her I had four yesterday she was like oh is this your first .. my point is the conversation naturally went on to the fact they are all girls and do I want a boy .... I am blessed to be having this baby ... it's with my new hubby and I thought it wasn't going to happen after losing two ... iam grateful I got my peanut .. but yes a boy would be nice !!!

Sushirolls · 22/03/2018 08:02

Morning all 😊

Hello @Ktn35 👋

I hear you on long journeys @cakeanytype ... 10 years between my youngest two! How many weeks are you with this little one? Also, what is the Ramzi theory?!? I think my daughter is having a 16 week scan this morning, so nanny is keeping her eyes peeled, in the hope of seeing something!! 😇😂

Morning @Pinkypromise77 😊

I hope everyone has a good day 😘

cakeanytype · 22/03/2018 08:20

Placenta left girl ... right boy .. google it xxx

cakeanytype · 22/03/2018 08:20

I'm 25 weeks .. my oldest is nearly 15 ... 😬

cakeanytype · 22/03/2018 08:21
  • 15 weeks sorry
Sushirolls · 22/03/2018 08:33

Ooh I'll have a read up on it!

My daughter is 15+5 today 🎉 I'm a little apprehensive, as she has hydrocephalus & she didn't find out dates etc until about 11weeks, so she missed the crucial window of taking extra folic acid and vitamins. I'm crossing everything that the scan today goes well and all is ok with baby 💕

My brood are 26(!), 23, 22 & 12!! I'm very lucky & excited, to be on this journey with my daughter 😊 x

cakeanytype · 22/03/2018 09:01

Wow it's exciting !!! I'm sure she will be fine .. sending hugs x
