lookingforaline18 Has anyone ever had gestational diabetes before? Was your baby ok?
Yes I had GD with my first so will be taking the test again soon. It was all fine. Not much fun using the monitor but in my case easily controlled and DS was induced a week early.

You have NOTHING to feel guilty about. It's utterly miserable being ill for so long and no amount of being pleased about the baby changes that.

lookingforaline18 · 18/03/2018 15:33

Thankyou sonypony that's very reassuring Smile

Do you guys have a Facebook page? If so is it private/secret?

niclw · 18/03/2018 16:30

Have any if you got a pregnancy pillow? I was looking at buying a dreamgenii one as I'm going to sleep on my side but waking up on my back. I thought it would stop be rolling over. However I've seen a review from someone who said that it only suited those who are smaller. I'm a size 16 on top with FF cup size so am now wary about buying it. If you have got a pregnancy pillow, have you got any recommendations or any suggestions of which to avoid?

surprisd · 18/03/2018 18:43

Blue25654 · 18/03/2018 19:35

I’ve got the theraline one. Find it comfortable and would use it at any size.

PinkyPromise77 · 18/03/2018 21:34

Hi @lookingforaline18, to join the FB group you'll need to send me a PM.

mamaiFifi · 19/03/2018 10:03

@PinkyPromise77
I am not sure how to send a pm - I would like to join the fb page

TheBlindspot · 19/03/2018 10:07

@mamaiFifi You need to drop me a PM to join the page.

TheBlindspot · 19/03/2018 10:08

To send a PM you need to log in via your browser not the app. There's no option to PM on the app for some reason.

Ok thanks will do that tomorrow x

SeattleKate · 19/03/2018 18:07

@Hispterwannabe congratulations on the positive scan!

Is anyone else feeling the pinch with normal trousers?! I was a size 8/10 before pregnancy and while I've not actually gained any weight yet, my stomach is definitely sticking out more than I think is reasonable for this point (bloating?!). I bought some under bump jeans at Topshop and I feel completely silly wearing them already Blush but I think my normal jeans are just exacerbating my sickness :(.

niclw · 19/03/2018 18:40

@Hispterwannabe Congratulations on your scan.

@SeattleKate I tend to wear dresses rather than trousers but have definitely got a stomach that is sticking out more than usual. I've actually lost some weight as well which is very confusing. I'm going to have to buy some other clothes over the Easter break as I'm struggling to do up the top of my work dresses.

Kiztok · 19/03/2018 19:58

Hi everyone, I've not been on for a while as after my bleed at 9 weeks I didn't want to stress myself so removed all pregnancy apps and banned myself from Dr google, plus I've had bronchitis for the past 3 weeks 😷!
Anyways had my scan & bloods today, all is well and they dated me at exactly 13 weeks (due 24th sept)
Congrats to everyone else x

I’ve got my 16 week appointment coming up on Friday where they look for the heart beat and I’m terrified they won’t find it :( I have no symptoms still, have put on no weight and have felt no movement (although I no it’s early). Am I being silly? I thought I’d be fine after the 12 week scan but my head is so defeatest I keep going to appointments expecting bad news so I can’t get excited. Was in tears this morning as I’m convinced baby has died :( thinking of asking the midwife for advise on this. Would she be the one to help or would I need to go to the doctors? I just don’t understand why I keep thinking the worst, it’s really getting me down. This is meant to be the most exciting time of my life but I just can’t seem to accept that it really is happening to me and is going to work out ok

Try not to panic @CJ1990. It's only couple of days until Friday and you will find out then. I don't think there's much a midwife would be able to do I don't think.

Also everyone I know had no symptoms at all and all their babies are all absolutely fine :) I'm the only one suffering with sickness and tiredness hehe so no one understands me lol! Try to relax as much as you can and try to think positive.

It is indeed also very early to feel the baby move. My midwife said it can be as late as 22 weeks, especially if that's your first baby x Hope this helps my lovely x

Thank you @PinkyPromise77 - I think I’m just confused. No idea why I’m so defeatest. It did take us a year to get pregnant So I still think that’s still looming around me..we had just started the fertility referal process. Think I’m annoying myself more than anything! Ha. Thanks though :) yeah not too long until Friday :) keep telling myself it’s rare for something to go wrong at this stage and not know about it!

snowy1982 · 20/03/2018 09:32

@CJ1990 my and DH tried for 3 1/2 years to get this BFP and had 7 rounds of IUI and I definitely think it has increased my anxiety so I understand where your coming from. I don’t know if there is anything anyone can do (which I know isn’t very supportative of uplifting) I think it’s more a matter of learning how to calm and reassure yourself. Maybe book a pregnacy massage, do some nice things for you to get you in a better head space??

RedRobin7 · 20/03/2018 11:28

Unfortunately my 12 week scan today revealed that we have lost our baby. I'm absolutely devastated 😔

Wishing all you lovely ladies a happy and healthy pregnancy! I'll post in the Facebook group later before I leave it x
