@snowy1982 sorry late reply I'm sorry to hear your headaches are so bad I still have nausea couple of times a week it's really bad and all day and I'm sick other days it's just in the morning so has improved but I'm 16 weeks tomorrow so I'm hoping it will completely go soon.

Helen290 · 16/03/2018 14:17

@ChilliCheeseMama I am 16 weeks tomorrow and I got my pregnancy pillow when I was 14 weeks I was just getting uncomfortable and not sleeping well since getting it I sleep so much better so defo worth getting I got mine from amazon I think the make was "rose queen".

lookingforaline18 · 16/03/2018 16:32

I'm 13+0 weeks today and had my scan this morning. Baby look fine so I am happy Smile
However, they did a urine sample and found sugar in my urine. I have to go for a GTT test in a few weeks. Has anyone ever had gestational diabetes before? Was your baby ok?
I have 3 children and baby number 2 was a big baby. When I was having baby number 3 I had to have a GTT because of ds2 being so big and it came back negative. This time I'm worried that it will come back positive.

Wish I didn't feel so sick! Can't believe you guys still feel bad!!! 😩 so depressing isn't it! Xxx

Marriageoftrueminds · 16/03/2018 19:08

I had my scan today too! All good. Still feeling sick here too but it all feels a but more worth it now!

RedRobin7 · 16/03/2018 19:10

@Ktn35 Glad it was all okay. Did your due date stay the same?

Ktn35 · 16/03/2018 23:35

Yeah red robin ... dates were spot in on! When's your scan? X

RedRobin7 · 17/03/2018 06:46

@Ktn35 That's good! Mines on Tuesday morning. So nervous!

Ktn35 · 17/03/2018 08:24

You'll be fine. It's very reassuring! I don't feel connected to it at all though. Sort of feel disappointed my my lack of emotional attachment! Anyone else feel this or am I goi g to be a terrible mother? 😩😩

RedRobin7 · 17/03/2018 08:59

@Ktn35 It's still very early days I'm sure you will find yourself getting more attached as your bump grows! Smile

niclw · 17/03/2018 09:31

@Ktn35 I agree with @RedRobin7. I think you will grow more attached as you begin to look more pregnant as your bump grows. I was just sorting out money related stuff and totally forgot I was pregnant this morning.

PinkyPromise77 · 17/03/2018 13:05

I'm exactly the same boat @Ktn35 ... I feel I probably maybe should feel more excited etc but currently I often forget I'm pregnant and feel like I will be a terrible mother too 🙈 hopefully you are right ladies it changes as the bump grows...

Ps. Thought sickness was gone as well and I stopped my anti sickness tablets... but the whole of the breakfast seen the light of the day again this morning 😂 oh well hopefully just a one off and it continues to get better...

@Ktn35 I’m exactly the same! I don’t have any symptoms so that mixed with a minimul bump and not feeling the baby yet, I don’t feel pregnant. So it doesn’t seem real! I’ve not even told everyone yet even after my scan. Holding out until hearing the heartbeat at 16 weeks. Can’t get excited due to the overwhelming worry. Think once we feel baby moving it’ll all be much more real and exciting! :)

AnnaLuna · 17/03/2018 17:57

Hi girls :)
Found out today I am having a little girl. :) I am 16w+1.
Was adamant it was a boy although for last two nights been having dreams about it being a girl Grin

RedRobin7 · 17/03/2018 18:20

Congrats @AnnaLuna 😊 How exciting! We won't find out until the 20 week scan so another 8 weeks to go. It's strange, I never wanted to find out the sex but my husband really wants to and now I've agreed to it I'm quite excited about finding out! My sister has just found out she's having a boy so now I want to know what we're having!

AnnaLuna · 17/03/2018 18:28

RedRobin7, thank you! :)
We had a private scan, only paid £31.50. Wanted to be reassured too as don’t really feel pregnant and don’t feel any movements.
Do you have any inkling what you are having? :)

RedRobin7 · 17/03/2018 19:21

@AnnaLuna I think it's a girl but trying not to get too attached until we've had the 12 week scan on Tuesday. My early 8 week scan was showing baby behind at 6w5d so I've been worrying for the last 4 weeks that something will be wrong. Are you on our Facebook group?

Ktn35 · 18/03/2018 09:05

Hi guys,
I need advice and some reassurance I think! I'm 12+1 and my morning sickness - which was bad - had now picked itself up to another level. I feel so awful. I can't function. I feel constantly sick and exhausted and haven't only been out with socially twice in 2 months because I feel so rough. I am keeping down enough food though so don't think the docs will give me anything to help? I am honestly worried about my mental health. I'm so down and tearful and am finding it hard to feel attached or excited about the baby. In fact there have been dark times when I wish I wasn't pregnant - although these are short lived and infrequent. It's horrible and I feel so unhappy. Then I feel guilty for feeling unhappy because so many people are struggling to be where I am now. I feel like I don't deserve it 😔

SeattleKate · 18/03/2018 09:06

I had a scan Friday too--baby all well and one day ahead of where it was at the private scan we'd had done. Wiggling around like mad! Due September 26th now! We got our combined results back too and while we were still definitely in the low risk category, the risk increased when they put in my bloods because my b-HCG was relatively high (3 MoM). The sonographer did say that all the physical markers on the baby were great and the NT measurement was very low. Has anyone else had that experience?

We had a Harmony test done but don't get the results for a couple days still.

SeattleKate · 18/03/2018 09:09

@Ktn35 I'm also still feeling pretty sick (12+5) and it is getting old! I've been reluctant to make evening plans because I'm knackered by 8:30! Had a lovely dinner made by a friend last night (who doesn't know I'm pregnant) and I felt awful because I was literally having to choke it down because food is so unappealing!

It'll get better in the next couple weeks I'm sure!

RockinRobinn · 18/03/2018 09:23

Hi ladies can I join please I'm 13+5 today due date 18th September and this is my first.
Hi @Ktn35 I know exactly how you feel I've burst into tears a few times over the last couple of days as my sickness hasn't gone at all and is still very up and down. I don't feel very excited at this stage because of it and I feel like so far the past 7 weeks have been some of the worst I've ever had. Then also get guilty feelings like you as we are so lucky to be in this position.
I would pop along to your gp anyway. They may prescribe you something alternatively it's good to just check in to let them know how down in the dumps you are. There is the Hyperemesis forum as well if you want some more help and tips, the ladies on there are lovely and don't judge you even if you think you just have bad morning sickness.

PinkyPromise77 · 18/03/2018 09:34

@Ktn35 go to your GP! I was the same still keeping enough food and water to not end up in hospital but I was miserable constantly feeling nauseous and throwing up.

They should prescribe you something and just try to be firm and say you are not leaving until you get something for this sickness regardless of what they say that none of the meds are that good but you at least need a chance to try them. I was on the meds for 3 weeks and it was a god send as it helped with the worst of it and although made me even more tired at least I wasn't throwing up all over the place.

Good luck! X

Ktn35 · 18/03/2018 09:43

Thank you guys,
I am going to book a GP appointment tomorrow and see what they say. I'm reluctant to tell them how miserable I've been in case I get put on some depression high alert and they won't leave me alone until the baby is about 6 months old (this happened to a friend!) but I will ask for some drugs. I thought you had to be properly vomiting up everything to get given them. Thanks :)
It's good to know it's not just me. Why does nobody tell you it's going to be like this?! Xxx

SeattleKate · 18/03/2018 09:58

@Ktn35 I think you can get priority for talk therapy too when you're pregnant. Lambeth does self referral and I considered it after my second MC and my GP seemed to say that you get bumped up the list for pregnancy related issues. Might be worth it as a sort of low intervention way to get some additional support from someone who definitely won't make any judgement about how you're feeling.
