The hormones go up and change all the time which causes fluctuations.

I could have written your post, im exactly the same today -boobs suddenly not sore! It’s freaking me out!

Sickness has finaly hit me. Was reaching for far too long my eyes were steaming. No longer jealous of those with full on symptoms

I feel I've been quite lucky so far with my symptoms but today has so far been a nightmare! I'm rubbish when I'm sick and I'm currently at work trying to keep my sickness inside till I at least get home! I've felt sick since I was 4 week well like on and off in waves and now at 6+5 I feel bloody awful!

I'm really suffering at the moment with sickness, I keep banging on about it on here. I'm on medication for it and it does help with the sickness but they make me absolutely shattered. Dh has a friend coming tonight for a takeaway which is fine as I thought that means I can just go lay in bed. I'm usually just laying on the sofa instead lol. But now dh has just said his mates girlfriend and her daughter are coming. I'm really not in the mood for that. I know that means the daughter will want to play with my kids. My kids are being great at the minute (7&9) and are just occupying themselves after I've made tea as they know I can't do much else. I lay on their beds with them (they aren't just ignored all night lol) but I just really can't deal with the running around, noise and making a mess. And me being downstairs trying to pretend I'm ok. I'm usually not awake after 8.30. I've said to dh they can come but I'll have to stay upstairs and so will the kids. I feel bad now as dh doesn't really see his mates that often and his friend is in a new relationship and I think keen for me to make friends with his new gf. I've met her a couple of times and she's really lovely.....but just not right now.....and now I feel like a proper bitch :-( x

Had my flu jab this morning and booking in bloods done. Veins still playing peekaboo but got blood in the end. Lol.

And @bitzy12 just maybe say to your guests that you are very sorry but you are feeling unwell and you need to lie down (migraine maybe?) they may try to keep a little quieter too for you?

@Scoobysue10 luckily I had my flu jab because of work before I was pregnant, you'd having your bloods done already apparently they don't do them here till the 12 week scan?. Been feeling more positive today even tho I have been having waves of nausea, one more week at work then a week off and my scan!!. 🙂

@bitzy12 yeh I agree with pinkypromise, just say your not well, I'm sure they will be fine once you say that.

Has anyone else had this at work basically my nurse lead decided I have no idea why to ask my out right if I was pregnant, for one who does that if I wanted people to know I would say, also everyone knows most people don't like to say in the first 12 weeks, anyway she took me off guard I went bright red and didn't know what to say other then " I wouldn't say even if I was, you would know when I was ready" so annoying why people do this as I hate telling fibs as I feel it's tempting faint, also my other nurse lead has been gossiping with her and they have both been saying they think I'm pregnant. I didn't want this to be honest as I had an MC in October and if something is wrong at my 12 week scan people would then know which is why I didn't want to say anything. Anyone else had this people just asking?!

@helen290, only person to ask me has been my best friend, she said she just knew. I didnt mind her asking as I would prob go to her if something went wrong anyway. My SIL suspects (I cancelled a hen do we were both supposed to go on) and she has commented to MIL that she thinks I am, MIL has kept it quiet and I know SIL won’t say anything to us until we tell her.

I would be very annoyed if random work people asked me though. I have a knack of knowing when people are pregnant, 3 times colleagues have been and I have guessed/figured it out but never said a word until they announced it

@snowy1982 exactly I wouldn't dream of asking like that, it really annoyed me because I'm not good at lying also I don't like tempting faint. Well I only have 2 weeks left to wait let's just hope it's good news 🤞🏻🙏🏻 read up on this silent miscarriages it really scares me as my symptoms do come and go they don't completely go just some days are worse then others, but I saw the heart beat at 8 weeks and I'm guessing I could be completely wrong that it's a higher risk up until 8 weeks? Just trying to stop myself from worrying.

@helen290, I can’t remember them exactly but I found a website about miscarriage that had the statistics mc and mmc, you risk really drops after seeing heartbeat at 6 weeks and again at 8.

I have said I won’t lie if someone asks me, but I am not going to volunteer the information.

Also I have my scan in the morning, will be 8+6(5) and am so nervous

I find it so rude too @Helen... Obviously if I wanted to tell you I would... mind your own business you nosy cow... and gossiping with another colleague is even worse...

I had my bloods done after 12 wks with my previous pregnancies. But apparently they do them earlier here now.
Glad your feeling a bit better.
Bet you can't wait for a wk off work and looking forward to your scan.

@pinkypromise77 I had several work colleagues ask me a few weeks ago if I was pregnant all because I had one day off sick (which was actually flu)!

I just denied it at the time but I got married last year and ever since I get people constantly ask when I'm having children and its so rude and drives me mad.

Hope you are all well. How is everyone feeling?

i've reading another thread about pregnancy vitamins and now i'm not sure i'm taking the right thing. Anyone else taking pregnacare max and nothing else? x

I am just taking pregnacare original and i’m Worried but my doctor says it’s fine?! What did your research say?

@ktn35 i've just looked at the NHS website and it says 400mcg of folic is enough for pregnant women who are low risk. On the thread people were saying about taking preganacare plus a folic supplement too which i'm not doing... i'm just taking it all in one.

I guess it's okay as you also get extra folic acid from food. I wish midwife appointments happen sooner. This is my first baby and I have no idea about anything!
