Had some horrible nausea this morning but did pass by 11am, thankfully! Then felt very dizzy and tried to drink loads. And now, for the first time I feel so exhausted that I'm in my pyjamas and ordered a takeaway ready for bed! Have a job interview on Thursday that I need to travel for so am very nervous about being washed out and nauseous for that....! I thought it was all going okay but alas not. Only 5wk3days!

Pinkslink17 · 30/01/2018 18:48

Joining! Currently 8+3 due 9th September, had an early scan last week due to pain. Everything's fine I'm just extremely nauseas! I've been off work with it last week and working from home at the moment, if I'm honest I'm really struggling. Been feeling really down, I'm on my own a lot because my husbands been working away 3 days a week so I'm stuck in the house feeling like I can't cope. Wondering how I'll cope when we have such a change in 7 months. My eatings horrendous because I eat anything I can keep down, none of my clothes fit and I'm so stressed about work. Viscous circle! Please tell me this gets better? I know my emotions are all over the place, I've tried everything for the sickness and I'm also being put on aspirin from 12 weeks as I'm higher risk for pre eclampsia! Glad to hear some of you don't have sickness, I wouldn't wish this upon anyone!

PumpkinPatch000 · 30/01/2018 18:58

Ah I’ll make the most of it while I can then @cakeanytype the waves I’m getting are increasing every day. Having one now cos just ate dinner.

I hope your sickness gets better! So sorry to hear it is so bad! x

Ktn35 · 30/01/2018 19:01

Hi! Thanks for setting up a new thread! This is all so weird isn’t it?! I have had no real sickness yet but dizziness and heart palpitations! Blooming referral to midwife got lost too - phoned today to chase and they had never received the fax (yes a fax in 2018!?) I highly reccomend anyone waiting to hear from them still to call and chase!! :) x

pregnantandfierce · 30/01/2018 19:24

Hi all, hope you’ve all had a good day. I’m suffering pretty badly with nausea today, I thought I was going to throw up in an Uber today, thankfully it passed. I’m still feeling queasy now.

Away on business at the moment so room service for me tonight if I can stomach it. I’m buying a boat load of crumpets next week when I get back home.

Hardheadedwoman39 · 30/01/2018 19:37

Thank you @FluffySavage I'll have a look!

Scoobysue10 · 30/01/2018 19:50

Been feeling sick since about 4.30 pm. Kept retching at work.
Think the girls are getting used to it now lol.
The tiredness been better today. It'seems been hard as I work 12hr shift. Been struggling with the tiredness. But the girls I work with are a great bunch and been understanding.

Tan29 · 30/01/2018 20:03

Evening all. I’m going to be a new Mum and bean will be due around the 22/09/18 I think. I have no idea what all these abbreviations mean so I’ll keep to English Grin It’s taken me and hubby about 18 months to conceive so it was a shock when we got a positive. Pretty sure he’s regretting it now because the main symptom I have is the comparison between myself and the Beast. I’m raging most of the time and when I’m not raging I’m mildly irritated, not the best manner to work with people for 13 hour days Blush poor hubby can’t do right for doing wrong lol. Anyone else had the pleasure of this? Not really any other symptoms other than a couple of day is dizziness xx

Ktn35 · 30/01/2018 20:05

Yes @tan29 I am being so moody. Horrible in fact. Have to keep apologising and cooking him lamb chops 😬

PinkyPromise77 · 30/01/2018 20:44

Oh my sounds awful cake glad the meds are working!

ThorsMistress good luck on Thursday and fingers crossed all is ok you will see on here a few ladies had barely any nausea at all as well.

Crabby if you know when you could have potentially ovulated that could be your conception date. Have you been tracking your cycle?

Evening, I've felt fine today but very tired again tonight, I've been lucky with morning sickness through both my other pregnancies and this one I've only felt sick a few times, my boobs are agony though and growing quickly, bump is so hard to hide already and still getting on off cramps hoping it will settle down soon

Hi ladies,
Hope you don't mind me joining in - was hoping to find some support and to chat.
Congrats all in your pregnancies!
So I have a 5 month old baby and just found out number two is in existence already - think we are due around 26th September...
We had fertility issues with the first, clearly not anymore...

pregnantandfierce · 30/01/2018 22:51

@beauty your bump is soooo cute. I can’t wait to have a bump. I had a clear out of my clothes yesterday to see what I had that could accommodate an expanding tummy. Once I’ve had my 12 week scan I’m going to pack away my snug clothes.

My bump is non-existent currently...

@Scoobysue10 quick question cause we have the same dates have you found some days your sickness is worse then others? I.e I'll be sick all day some days then others just in the morning, mine has been terrible for over a week until yesterday I felt a little better I know logically symptoms come and go just hard not to worry lol 🙈.

Scoobysue10 · 31/01/2018 07:08

Morning ladies.
Helen290.
Was talking this over with my partner last night. I believe the tiredress I is affecting my sickness.
As had last wk off work and felt fine by Thursday. Worked 12hr shift Sat and Sun and began to feel ill again Sunday.
I worked a 6 hr shift Monday and didn't feel as I'll in the evening. Another 12hr shift yesterday and was feeling quite ill. So I believe my working pattern is making me feel much worse.

Scoobysue10 · 31/01/2018 07:15

Helen290
With my previous pregnancies I just felt ill in the morning where this one is late afternoon and evening.
I worked 9-5 with my first. And only worked mornings with my 2nd.
Now I work longer days. If I don't improve I may have to see about swapping my shifts around. But hoping all will settle down over the next couple of wks.

rose90 · 31/01/2018 07:42

Has anyone ever had ovarian cyst? Paid for a private scan were they found a large cyst on my right ovary. Being sent for blood test and referred. I felt all positive and it's 'normal' but after seeing the GP yesterday and then throwing the 'C' word around I can't help but feel worried now. Any previous experiences would be great to ease my mind x

Helen290 · 31/01/2018 07:50

@Scoobysue10 yeh sounds like it!, i am lucky I only work till 4 most days and my latest is 5:30 and weekends off, I find my sickness is worse if I'm hot or if work isn't too busy cause then I have more time to think about it, but I feel better today I felt sick first thing I wake up and walk the dog at 5:20, now I'm at work and eaten something I feel better it tends to come back just before lunch, first morning I haven't been sick tho for over a week, I'm guessing by 10 weeks symptoms get better?.

Helen290 · 31/01/2018 07:52

@rose90 sorry to hear your going through this, the "c" word always gets mentioned but that's worse case scenario so I would try not to worry it's often just a cyst. X

Tinkerbelle568 · 31/01/2018 10:40

My mum reckoned all the pain I was in over new ygear was an ovarian cyst. That pain seems to have stopped and turns out I was pregnant. So I won't be surprised if I do have a cyst as well as I had so much pain in my left side. Ovarian cysts are very common and rarely the "c" word so I'm just waiting till my scan. I told my doctor and she didn't seem to care. I didn't really like her haha. I'm going to tell my midwife if I ever hear from them to see if they will do the scan earlier.

samanthajonespr · 31/01/2018 10:59

Is it normal for my symptoms to have eased? I'm 6 weeks today and my boobs aren't sore anymore and I'm not weeing as much. I'm panicking Confused

niclw · 31/01/2018 11:35

@samanthajonespr I'm finding that the symptoms come and go. I'm not weeing as much at the mo and my sore boobs seem to be there one day but not the next. I went got an early scan last week and everything was good so am assuming it's normal.

samanthajonespr · 31/01/2018 11:44

@niclw thank you. That does make me feel a bit better. I've got my early scan and booking in appointment a week today so hopefully everything's ok. I keep poking my boobs and hoping for the best. I'm wondering if it's because this isn't my first pregnancy so maybe I'm not as sensitive to the hormones.

Helen290 · 31/01/2018 11:45

It's normal my symptoms come and go awful nausea last few weeks then today slightly better but now feeling really sick again 🙈🤢.
