Our Henry, born today (his due date!) weighing 8lbs14oz (we were told on Saturday that it was looking like he was 7lbs4oz!).

Hey May mama's! How is everyone?

Eska is doing wonderfully! We managed to have a much better night last night where she slept for 2 x 4 hour stints whereas before she was waking up every 2 and then not settling once 4am came around! Might go for a walk in the park today as I'm finally feeling better after my c-section Hope you're all well.

And congratulations on the recent babies born! I agree Henry is a gorgeous name ❤

@Cosmoa Awww, she looks very content! Love the name Eska too. Glad to hear your feeling brighter and getting some rest.

I'm still waiting! My due date isn't until Tuesday but I already feel overdue with all these babies being born!

@BlueRaincoat89 ahh fingers crossed your little one arrives soon! A few of my friends were due at the same time as me but went earlier.. I was so jealous! You feel like you'll be pregnant forever... I still can't believe Eska is here! Glad you like her name

We’re getting on well here, my little girl will be 2 weeks on Monday, it feels like she’s been with us for a lot longer.

It was a fluke... Last night wasn't so much fun 😂😂😂

Zachary isn't too bad at sleeping during the night once he is settled and actually asleep (sometimes he doesn't like sleeping before 12 😩) Last night was a good night of sleeping from 10pm - 4am then back to sleep until 7.15am ☺️ so a very happy mummy today!

How is he 4 weeks and 2 days already 😩?? But he brings so much joy and happiness 💙 he's a real little treasure and I'm ever so lucky 🍀

@LittleFox01 he is gorgeous!!! I am so jealous of his sleeping! My girl hasn't slept for more than 3 hours in one go and she usually only manages 1.5-2hrs at a time 😴

Do you wake her for feeds? Or just feed when she wakes up by herself? Are you bf or ff? Zachary is ff and will have 3-4oz every 3 hours x

I’m due on Tuesday too BlueRaincoat89!Feel like it’s never going to actually happen and that I’m just going to be heavily pregnant forever!
Very moody and restless today though which I haven’t been through the rest of my pregnancy so maybe things will start moving.Must admit think I’m a bit bored having finished work only a week ago and running round the house like a loon getting everything tidy/sorted/painted!Twiddling my thumbs waiting for labour!

@Lilbeth1986 I don't seem to have any signs of labour yet so I'm thinking she's going to be a stubborn baby and stay in as long as she can. Have you had any signs? DH hopes she doesn't come tonight so he can watch the football so hopefully she has a sense of humour

I know what you mean about getting bored too. I've been off for 3 weeks now and don't know what to do with myself. Never thought I'd say that!

@LittleFox01 she wakes for feeds herself. Breastfeeding so I wonder if that makes a difference.

@Counter27 I think that probably does make a difference 😊 hopefully your little one will start sleeping a little longer for you soon.

We was in Tesco yesterday paying for a bit of shopping when a lady came over to have a look at Zachary and asked all the usual questions and asked about his sleeping and I said he was pretty good and she said "I can tell because you don't look tired and look really well" 😊 x

@LittleFox01 enjoy it 😊 I would give anything for more than 2 hours sleep in one go 😂

Hoping we get there soon. I can totally understand why some women start out bf and switch to ff if you can achieve sleep like that!!

I'm breastfeeding and somehow Eska sleeps for 3-4 hours at a time! I'm not saying that to brag... Just want to point out its still possible when breastfeeding! I think she just loves her sleep like her Daddy!

I live in hope that one night I will wake up and think my god she has slept 4+ hours I'll need to wake her up to feed her 😊🤞🏼

How is everyone getting on? Thought I'd check in

I'm feeling loads better now after the c-section. Finally got out for a nice long walk in the sunshine today! The nights are getting tough.. Can't wait till my girl is sleeping a bit longer through the nights! She's getting fussier by the day! Used to sleep for 4 hours at a time but now it's just 3 and then she takes ages to settle again

Not bad thanks. Glad you got out for a walk, it can really help.
Oliver is 1 month today 😍 time is flying by. We are managing 3 hours between feeds but he is suffering with reflux so might need something to help with that.

Glad you are feeling better and getting out and about more @Cosmoa. I felt awful at the start of recovery after my c-section and really thought it would take me right to the end of the 6 weeks to feel better however after 2 and half weeks I felt really good and got myself and little man walking into town most days ☺️ Zachary will be 6 weeks on Thursday. Where has the time gone? It's going far too quickly.
I'm currently awake after Zachary stirring and not settling back off so I jumped up and made a bottle and he's decided to go back to sleep 🙄 typical!

Where is everyone from?
We don't have any mummy friends, so would love to make some, if anyone is close. We're in Oxfordshire x

My girl is 6 weeks and I can't believe it! We've had a very tough few weeks with reflux and colic. She's on medication for the reflux which does help a bit but not really anything we can do about the colic except try to ride it out! I'm up now feeding. She doesn't sleep for more than 2-3 hours at night and takes ages to settle so that's getting pretty exhausting.

All in I love being a mummy but dear god it's been the most difficult thing I have ever done!

We had a little boy 3 weeks ago, Aldo seems to have started with colic... screaming in the evening, writhing around with stomach ache and very windy. It doesn't help that sometimes it's near impossible to get him to burp after feeds!!
I slid had a c section but unlike my first which was an emergency, this time my recovery has been much quicker and getting out for a walk in the sunshine had been lovely!! Anyone else desperate to get driving again? DH brilliant and taking me out but be nice to be independent again. We are also up feeding, chocolate is what gets me through!!!
