There was a thread here on babies due in May but for some reason it’s been closed. Anyone is due then?

@PistFump awwh Milo is sooo beautiful!

And I love your cosatto pram! I've got the spectroluxe which is also multicoloured 😁

Hoping they say his jaundice has improved. The sunnier days are bound to help (even though it's raining today)...

Can't wait to meet my girl now!

Kittypillar · 02/05/2018 11:21

@PistFump such a cute picture! I'm sure the jaundice will ease off very soon, I'm glad that he's being looked out for though. Smile

McTootBlowsOnHisBagpipe · 02/05/2018 11:26

Oh Milo is gorgeous!!!!

PistFump · 02/05/2018 11:44

Midwife has just left and his jaundice has improved today, and although he is still above birth weight he has lost a little so need to continue with the formula top ups. He's had his heel prick test done and is doing really well! Hope everyone is doing ok too!!

Lou0390 · 02/05/2018 14:19

@PistFump that's good news about the jaundice
Just got back from 39 growth scan, just underneath the 10th percentile so have recommend a stretch and sweep? Has anyone else had this and did it work? Thanks x

Chloe Emilia, born yesterday 2nd May at 16:39 weighing 7lb 1oz!

I'm so excited because she's got a full head of hair! 😍😍

McTootBlowsOnHisBagpipe · 03/05/2018 08:18

@emily199027 massive congratulations. I bet Chloe is beautiful! Enjoy the newborn cuddles 😍

McTootBlowsOnHisBagpipe · 03/05/2018 08:21

Hi @Lou0390 I had a sweep 2 days ago (39 weeks). It didn’t work. I’m booked in for another at 40 weeks. However, when I had one in a previous pregnancy that baby was born that night! I think my baby is just too comfy at the mo.

Counter27 · 03/05/2018 08:58

Congratulations @emily199027 our little girl has a full head of hair too! I was delighted 😍

LittleFox01 · 03/05/2018 09:08

Congratulations @emily199027! Enjoy every second. Zachary is a week old today already! Time just flies. Xx

PistFump · 03/05/2018 10:25

Congratulations @emily199027!! 🥂

Cosmoa · 03/05/2018 11:18

@emily199027 Congratulations! Enjoy Smile

Lou0390 · 03/05/2018 11:27

@emily199027 congratulations so happy for you 😊
@McTootBlowsOnHisBagpipe thanks for the reply, yes I've heard mixed results but I'm hoping it might do the trick. Apparently they are engaged and I've been losing my plug but hey ho 🤷‍♀️

McTootBlowsOnHisBagpipe · 03/05/2018 11:32

@Lou0390 I really hope it is successful for you!

MrsG95 · 03/05/2018 12:23

Do you have to "book in" for a sweep?
I'm seeing mw a week today (will be 39+6), can I ask her to do one then or will she most likely say no?

Lou0390 · 03/05/2018 12:44

@MrsG95 I didn't ask, I was advised as my baby is measuring a bit smaller. However there is no harm in asking once you have reached 39 weeks.

MrsG95 · 03/05/2018 12:52

Ah ok! I was just thinking that with me having a "textbook" pregnancy so far that maybe they would do one. Thank you

McTootBlowsOnHisBagpipe · 03/05/2018 13:53

I was given a sweep due to measuring small too and they’ve said another will be done at 40 weeks.

Lou0390 · 04/05/2018 18:51

Had my sweep today was only a little bit of discomfort to be fair, had some cramping and a bloody show. Going to have a bath and an early night I think.
Hope you are all doing okay ladies Smile

Jestem · 04/05/2018 19:09

Mrs, I'm having a textbook pregnancy and at 39+4 today MW wouldn't do a sweep, although I didn't want one anyway. I asked whether they would because my baby is measuring big, but she said they wouldn't for that reason. First timers can have one at 40 weeks, second and subsequent babies at 41 weeks! She said that before 40 weeks exactly a consultant has to sign off for a sweep, and they're only done for a medical reason.

McTootBlowsOnHisBagpipe · 04/05/2018 19:59

Fingers crossed for you @Lou0390

MrsG95 · 04/05/2018 22:51

Thanks for the info jest. Don't think baby wants to come any time soon so I may he waiting for that 41wk sweep! 😣

PatchworkWellies · 08/05/2018 14:03

How's everyone surviving the heat?! Family outing to gardens yesterday made me realise that I'm pretty slow and waddly but I'm ok if I pace myself (had to be left after lunch for a few mins to have a lie down under a tree although getting down & back up again was a performance!!)
Hope all the babies already born are doing well x

RosaBaby2 · 08/05/2018 14:41

@PatchworkWellies I too just realised how slow and waddly I’ve become after going to the river yesterday. It was very warm but managed to hide from the sun and slept with no covers last night! It’s raining today (good old Cumbria) so not too warm.

I’m so fed up now, 3 days overdue, was totally prepared for this to be the case as with my son I was induced and he was born 2 weeks late. Midwife tomorrow to be given induction date.

Hope everyone’s well Flowers

McTootBlowsOnHisBagpipe · 08/05/2018 15:20

Due date today! I’m waiting for the midwife to come round, she’s going to give me a sweep. The heat hasn’t been so bad for me, as I’m being utterly lazy 😂
