There was a thread here on babies due in May but for some reason it’s been closed. Anyone is due then?

Running around play park yesterday witj ds has resulted in massively swollen ankles 😭
Mw told me today that baby is also back to back, which explains why I've had contractions starting and stopping over the last 3 days. She seems to think I'll not make next appointment which is on Thursday, but if by some miracle I do then she will consider offering a sweep

Say trying to work out if I'm in early labour or just normal pains, first pregnancy so don't really know what I'm looking for. Keep getting lower back pain like when your on your period and get pains every now again low down in stomach but don't know if that's from him moving with not much room as I have such a tight bump and all baby. Probably just nothing just over thinking as his due date is two weeks today 😅

@Fizzy, I'm getting same symptoms on and off, perhaps once a day at mo. I feel as though I don't know what I'm looking out for either as had prem baby v quickly last time. Due date just over 2 weeks now but I don't know if these twinges mean it'll be here sooner!

Our beautiful little boy was born this evening at 7:24pm. Very quick delivery only just made it to the hospital. Currently watching him sleep and can't believe he is here Smile

Just rang midwife number and been told I'm in early labour hopefully not long now else could be a very long night and day tomorrow.

Been 4/5 minutes apart since 11 last night but hospital don't want me to call again till they are 3/4 or my waters break. Might call my midwife and see if she can do a home visit and check. absolutely knackered already as can't sleep thinking this might be a very long day.

How are you feeling Fizzy? I've been in slow early labour since Sunday now. Baby is back to back, so my contractions keep starting and stopping. Mw expects me to be in full labour by tomorrow, but if not she will consider offering a sweep!

Hey, I'm new to this.. due on the 25th! How is everyone feeling? I'm feeling absolutely exhausted now, some days I get a sudden burst of energy and other days I want to sleep all day!

@natasha, welcome! I'm due 26th, feeling pretty similar in terms of energy. Got a toddler to keep up with so ability to rest is v limited during day!!

Need some advice please! I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I've not gained any weight since being pregnant. I'm around the 9 stone 7 mark, can anyone recommend any foods that are easy to consume that will help boost my calorie intake? Is this normal?? I'm worried baby will be lacking in nutrients but she's moving a lot everyday.

Any advice or tips will be much appreciated!!

@oliviam I'm new to this too Hun, I would go and speak to your midwife/doctor about this.. are you taking your vitamins? TBH I don't think I put any weight on until third trimester really... I was having a lot of carbs, jacket potato almost everyday for lunch and eating high energy foods, having 3 good meals a day and snacking inbetween on fruit and sweet things lol.. also drinking milk! You could also try having smaller regular meals... I was underweight when I got pregnant weighing 7 and half stone, I've got 2 weeks until I'm due and I'm weighing over 10 stone, I was worried just like you but just make sure you're having vitamins along with regular meals/snacks

Neo James born 4.39 this morning weighing 7 pounds 10 a week and 5 days early. Absolutely besotted he's such a quiet baby but also very nosey.
