pattern 38 weeks here and I know what you mean about the women who have their baby at 37 weeks on the way to the hospital, because they didn’t know they were in labour 🙄
After 44 hours of regular contractions and 16 hours in established labour I bloody knew I was with my first 😂 he was back to back though, which this one isn’t currently so hoping this one will fly out! I figure my body has had PLENTY of practice contracting so my cervix should be good at if!

I have my 12wk scan tomorrow. We've told quite a few people after the harmony results so I really hope my tiny boy is still ok in there.

AKP79 you're still only 17 weeks, that's very early for first feeling baby movements. I felt bean about 21 weeks but I've friends who first felt theirs at 23, 24 and 26 weeks and they all had healthy babies.

AKP I'm 23 weeks and have only just started to feel movement, if that helps at all. When I mentioned it to the sonographer at 20 weeks she said that she felt nothing until 27 weeks, so it's hugely variable.

Just found blood when I wiped. I've left work and going home. Called epu and left message.

Seems like it's over.

brogueish and zaalitje my anxiety is more around the fact I had been feeling movement but now nothing. However, like you say it’s very early and maybe the baby is hiding somewhere. I hope so xx

I was checked by MW last week as movement slowed. He'd done a a 180 from where I knew he'd been a couple days earlier due to a scan.

But at 17 weeks he is still tiny and quite curled up, so less likely to feel anything.

Call MW if you are worried to ask for a listen to HB.

Epu have no scans today. So I need to wait until tomorrow unless I start bleeding thru pads.
No more blood so far.

Morning ladies!! intelligent I have everything crossed for you that it’s just some irritation. I had pink/brown when I wiped this time around and it turns out my cervix is just very angry about all the hormones. But the waiting to find out is the worst bit. Big hugs.

I’m still intact. Midwife appointment was entirely pointless this morning- she refused to do a sweep until I’m a week over so I have absolutely no idea why they bothered to book me the appointment for today when they could have just done one on Friday. Anyway so I have to go back Friday. Provided I’ve not been arrested for MIL related GBH by then- she all but invited herself along this morning. Because that’s really what I need. Thankfully she had a doctors appointment so I got to go alone. Go me!

God I’m a delight today. Eugh. I was just so looking forward to having an idea of what the state of play is down there and all I got was a slightly elevated blood pressure reading and some blood in my wee. Great!!

Glad you’re home, intelligent. I hope there no more bleeding, and you’re on the sofa/in bed with a box set or something.

@NoParticularPattern sorry for the frustration - strange that they didn't want to give you the sweep as they seemed to be desperate to do them when I had DS (I have refused them this time unless strictly necessary). Hope you get some movement soon - are you on a pregnancy ball?

Scan tomorrow so will see what they find then. Not had any more bleeding since this morning but not getting hopes up.

I'm having brown cm so I'm guessing it could be a sign things aren't okay. I think I'll go to the EPU first thing tomorrow.
