Pumpkinma, I had that a couple of weeks ago and got myself really worried - I think I posted it on this thread?! It turns out that it was most likely digestion related - I’d not been eating particularly well as I was on holiday and I’ve found that since then, if I have a bad day food wise it’ll happen again. Could it be that?

If it continues though, or if cramps become regular, I’d give your midwife a call. Can’t be too careful!

Pumpkinma · 01/03/2018 21:29

@emvy I've been eating pretty well (chocolate aside 🙈) maybe I need to drink some more water. If it continues tomorrow or gets worse I'll ring up and get checked out. Think I'm just getting anxious now every little thing is setting my panic alarms off

How are you getting on?

dkb15164 · 01/03/2018 21:42

@Pumpkinma had that same thing this morning, woke me at 5am and wasn't able to get back to sleep despite hoping for a lie in, continued on for a few hours even after bath. Think anxiety made it worse as there is absolutely no way for me to get to hospital in this weather, whole road is blocked off with a foot or two of snow. Feel fine now, maybe it was the air pressure or something. Period cramps and back pain is exactly how I described it.

Pumpkinma · 01/03/2018 21:47

@dkb15164 I had the same thing woke me up and been on and off all day. If same tomorrow I think I'll just call up for some reassurance

Pumpkinma · 01/03/2018 21:48

@dkb15164 Hope you're feeling better now ☺️

emvy · 01/03/2018 21:59

I think anxiety does make it worse. As dkb said, maybe a nice hot bath/shower will help?

I’m mostly good thanks. Have developed some kind of trapped nerve in my back that effects my right leg if I’m on my feet for too long but other than that I certainly can’t complain. More than ready to meet baby now - it’s just next month ladies! Ah! (For those of us that make it that far 😬😂)

Pumpkinma · 01/03/2018 22:32

@emvy oooo that doesn't sound fun!

Crazy to think it's next month we are all due! It's all happened so fast

Rae2017 · 02/03/2018 22:30

Just got back from.rugby game in Wigan...currently defrosting. Think i keep forgetting that I'm 34 weeks pregnany, struggled on stairs. Had a laugh though as was too big to fit through turnstiles 😂 next time I go to a rugby game I'll be a mum...feels strange and lovely saying that!

Rae2017 · 05/03/2018 10:22

How is everyone today? I'm 34 weeks today and the tiredness is so consuming. Was awake for 3 hours in the night...brain just wouldn't switch off. Keep trying to follow people's advice about getting as much sleep now before baby is here but it's like my mind won't let me. Anyone else having similar?

MadRainbow · 05/03/2018 12:40

Hi everyone, 34+2 today, think I we Blush overdid it last night as my hips are in agony today, I can barely hobble around my flat let alone walk, I'm sure physio will have a field day with me.

Baby is super strong now, most of her movements are uncomfortable and has anyone else had them keep dropping into their pelvis? I keep standing up and feeling as if my innards are dropping out my arse...

I'm really tired now, my poor little girl is fed up with how boring mummy is and I've had enough of being stuck up 3 flights of stairs

Bez9087 · 05/03/2018 14:49

@madrainbow we are the same here my three year old is bored all the time I feel so sorry for him but physically can’t take him many places. We did do a sunflower planting drop in today at a local children’s centre with my friend and her little girl which he enjoyed but the minute we got back home he was complaining of being bored again. Some times I’m the same standing up feels like I have weights hanging off. I’m writing this sat down thinking about the cold school run I’m going to have to do. Not been too bad as dh been helping loads but he can’t pick our dd up today so I need to do it and dreading it. She’s on the top playground which is a nice walk away and up a slight incline I just keep thinking of my pjs and a hot brew when I get back lol!
Hope everyone else is getting on okay? Growth scan again Thursday getting so nervous now it’s starting to sink in that if my left still hasn’t grown much potentially could be here for weekend Confused excited and scared rolled into one. I just want Thursday to be here and know a plan of action.

HarryHarry · 05/03/2018 15:05

35 weeks today. Baby's movements began to change last week - now I can really feel how little space he has in there. I feel things sticking out in my hips, in my ribs, everywhere, and it's so uncomfortable. I've also had the same headache for days. Though this is probably nothing compared to what Bez9087 has to put up with - fingers crossed for your growth scan! Smile

emvy · 05/03/2018 16:35

34+3 here. Joining you with the exhaustion but not being able to sleep Rae. I can nap to my heart’s content in the day but as soon as it’s night time my brain is in over drive about all the things I need to do before I finish work and what it will be like when baby comes. I wish I could switch it off!

Bez, best of luck for Thursday!

I had my growth scan today. Baby is still little but growing well. His estimated current weight is 4lb 9oz so not bad really at all Smile also start antenatal classes tomorrow which I’m really looking forward to.

Has anyone else started theirs?

DaisyLand · 05/03/2018 16:42

I’ve got mine tomorrow emvy! Would be funny if we actually met in them :) I’m in the sw of the country.

I’ve not started packing , not even finished doing the washing tho yesterday I finally bought the sheets and so for the cot so hoping to do some this weekend and also I might go next weekend to get the pushchair. I’ve got 3 weeks left til maternity leave so if I don’t go this weekend I might go once I start the leave.

34+6 today and for some reason I feel like absolute crap today...had to leave work early as I thought I was going to pass out. Felt light headed and shaky and everything kept going white! I feel a bit better now I'm lying down but feel really sick. Peanut has also got hiccups for the 4th time today which I'm hoping is nothing to worry about. I seem to be turning into a worry head lately when I'm normally quite chilled!

This level of tiredness is something I never knew existed to be honest and I'm really struggling just doing basics! My back is constantly killing me and baby's movements are starting to hurt as the space runs out! Hate moaning but I think I've got to the stage I'll be glad when this is over! 😣

MadRainbow · 05/03/2018 17:19

@Bez, really hope little twinny has decided to have a massive growth spurt for you. It's horrible how much it makes you panic :/ fingers crossed.

I had taken to catching up on sleep in the morning cos my DH is home and I found it easier to sleep, however I am totally screwed at night so hoping staying up will give me better sleep at night. I can't really walk more than a few feet now with my SPD so I can't knacker myself out now.

Rae2017 · 05/03/2018 17:28

@bez hope everything goes well on Thurs.

@emvy yep sounds just like me. Can nap at any time in afternoon and evening but middle of night is different story.
We've been to a couple of antenatal classes. One about breastfeeding and the other a labour and birth one. Tonight there is a grandparents workshop so taking my mum and dad along as a lot of things have changed since they raised a baby 😳

emvy · 05/03/2018 17:44

Daisy, I’m in the sw as well! How funny if we did meet! We’d possibly never know though?! Haha. I’ve also got 3 weeks left. Counting down, I can’t wait to finish. It’s a crazy term with assessments and parent’s evenings and I just want it over with.

It sounds like our little ones are causing us lots of tiredness and soreness. I’m getting ready to have him with me now too but he does need to get a little bigger first (and I guess however much I want to start maternity leave, I do have loose ends to tie up at work).

Rae, that’s interesting, a grandparent’s workshop! I wonder what sorts of things they’ll go over?! Bit different!

emvy · 05/03/2018 18:07

Anna, sorry, I was meant to say, is your blood pressure low? That’s what happens to me on a particularly low day. Make sure you get lots of rest and don’t stand up too quickly. Otherwise, maybe you’re coming down with a bug?

AnnaMadden · 05/03/2018 18:29

@emvy actually now that you say that The midwife did say at my appointment last Tues that my bp was a little low but didn't seem too concerned so I dismissed it. If I still feel like this tomorrow I might give her a ring to see if I need a check up. I have consultant ante natal next Weds but that's a long time to wait feeling like this!

emvy · 05/03/2018 18:48

Low blood pressure in pregnancy is usual so it’s not typically anything to worry about, but obviously if you’re feeling unwell with it, you need to be really careful as you don’t want to end up fainting! Definitely follow things up before Wednesday if you’re feeling rotten though as you can never be too cautious Smile

Pumpkinma · 05/03/2018 20:24

Good luck with your scan Thursday @emvy hope them little ones are doing okay!

With you all in the tiredness and crazy sleep patterns. I'm 35+1 and I'm so tired and so uncomfortable baby is in such an awkward position and feels like there is no room at all left in there. Finding hard to breathe! got my growth scan on Monday to see how my little tubby baby is doing, and whether they will be inducing me early seems so far away!

@Pumpkinma they do like to stick their extremities in very difficult places don't they? Who needs oxygen after all Hmm last few weeks though, that light at the end of the tunnel is far closer than it was aye? Hang on you mean next week for your scan or are you stateside?
