So glad it's not just me!!! And @bobbiepin I know exactly what you mean, I constantly have his bum sticking out the middle and a foot in my side! Haha.
The boredom is so hard! There's only so many shit TV programs to watch and cleaning to do!

TheLionQueen1 · 27/09/2017 20:19

Feeling miserable today! I went to MW for 38 week appointment as blood pressure is too high, she's checking it again Friday and if still up then got to go in for induction immediately.

Looking forward to meeting him but I had my hopes high of a MW led waterbirth. Keeping everything crossed!

How's everyone else doing?

Missonhartbaby · 27/09/2017 20:56

Fingers crossed for you @lionqueen! Hopefully you won't need the induction and can meet him naturally!
I didn't actually realise you couldn't have a water birth if you were induced....

Bobbiepin · 27/09/2017 21:04

lionqueen is there anything you can do to bring your bp down? Either way, just focus on your little boy, it matters less how he gets here so long as you both are safe and healthy. Fingers crossed for you

TheLionQueen1 · 27/09/2017 21:16

I could possibly still have the waterbirth depends on how they induce you, but they won't do it at the MW led hospital I was going to so will need to go to main hospital an hour away. They only have 1 pool in 4 rooms so basically need to expect the worse!!

I'm just going to do absolutely nothing tomorrow and hope it was a one off as no problems normally, think I may have been trying to do so much as getting very bored!!

ew1990 · 27/09/2017 23:15

@TheLionQueen1 hopefully relaxing will bring it down,

I'm really suffering these last few days with heartburn and indigestion, 😢

Bobbiepin · 28/09/2017 04:16

Just woken up with periody type cramps. 36 weeks today and really hoping I need to poo or something!

samanthax2 · 28/09/2017 04:50

Hey I'm 8 weeks and 5 days...
Is anyone else having a rough time
I'm none stop urinating.. Every ten minutes not over exaduateing
.. Sleeping for about 2 hours a day and terrible insomnia at night and still urinating every ten mins through the night... Also I cannot eat anything yogurt, crackers, water that's it and to top it of I feel nauseous all day.. I feel like I'm looseing the plot and I'm only early on..
And suggestions on how to get to sleep? Oh and this is my first child SadFlowers

ew1990 · 28/09/2017 08:56

@Bobbiepin how are the cramps? Apparently period cramps are a sign of labour

mrsjkerry · 28/09/2017 13:52

@TheLionQueen1 no one can force you to be induced you can always tell them you’d like to wait a bit longer. I think they do it to cover themselves mostly. Having said that, hopefully a bit of rest will bring it down. Mine wasn’t great either at last appnt and I’ve never had problem!! Maybe it’s white coat syndrome...

@ew1990 indigestion/heartburn is killing me. Was up ah 2&4AM feeling like someone had poured hot acid into my chest.

Haha @samanthax2 that all sounds normal. Honestly the best advice I can give you is take each day at a time and remind yourself it’s just your baby accommodating for baby.

TheLionQueen1 · 28/09/2017 14:12

@mrsjkerry It was very high so although they can't force me there is obviously a very good reason they want me to! I have to trust they know what is best for baby, as I'm no medical professional! So I'm going to wait and see what they say tomorrow. Would be amazed if it was white coat syndrome as never had an issue before in 30+ years!

mrsjkerry · 28/09/2017 14:21

I have never had problems either but I sometimes feel my heartbeat rising and get nervous when they start doing tests like that because I’m nervous they’ll turn around and say something is wrong now I’m pregnant!!!

Girls I'm coming down with a cold and I'm not impressed! Already fed up at 37 weeks and a cold is just not what I need right now! Any tips on what to take? We're only allowed paracetamol aren't we?

Missonhartbaby · 28/09/2017 18:06

@samanthax2 Congrats! And it will get better, the first three months are always the worst! Have you seen a midwife yet? Just try to eat little and often when you can :) the peeing every 10 mins does go away but comes back later in in pregnancy unfortunately!! I would talk to you midwife or GP about insomnia as I don't know much about it I'm afraid! Hopefully it will get easier for you x

lydiangel83 · 28/09/2017 21:45

@Missonhartbaby I had horrible cold / cough was bloody miserable. Lots of warm drinks and paracetamol and whatever carbs / chocolate / food makes you feel better. Rest too if you can xx

ew1990 · 28/09/2017 22:00

Got a prescription again today for antibiotics for a uti- I've been on antibiotics ever since I found out I was pregnant

Bobbiepin · 28/09/2017 22:33

@ew1990 that sucks, are you drinking enough? I've been so thirsty the last few days and I'm still dehydrated, I can't seem to drink enough!

The cramps I think were BH, came on and off for about an hour, mildly painful, definitely enough to wake me up but not bad enough to panic. By 5am they had stopped but my mind was going a million miles an hour so it took me ages to get back to sleep!

Missonhartbaby · 28/09/2017 22:39

@lydiangel83 I'm all for feeding a cold! Haha. So yea that's pretty much my plan, rest, paracetamol and lots of food and drink. Nothing more we can do I guess! Hope I don't go into labour with a horrific cold though!
@ew1990 poor you :( isn't there anything they can give you to help prevent it? Is there a reason why your having it so often? Utis are so painful aswell!

ew1990 · 28/09/2017 22:46

I'm drinking constantly but struggling to stay hydrated too, at every appointment I have where they test my wee I have an infection, I'm finishing the course so don't know what else it can be? I've got a midwife appointment on Wednesday so I'll ask her

Missonhartbaby · 28/09/2017 23:11

Sounds like a nightmare! Hopefully she can help on Wednesday... Although may just be one of those annoying pregnancy things!

lydiangel83 · 29/09/2017 05:05

@ew1990 sorry to hear that. Do they make you sick? I feel awful on amoxicillin- like first trimester nauseous even tho I’m 35+3!
