Thank you @missionheartbaby Flowers I just read your reply now. Unfortunately it didn't go well and I did end up having a MC.

I'm sure next time round it will all be ok.

Thank you for your words of encouragement ❤

Missonhartbaby · 26/07/2017 12:40

BabyB Aww I'm so sorry to hear that! Hope you are doing well and look after yourself! Everything happens for a reason I always think and miscarriages that early are super common, although I am sure that doesn't make it any less painful :( Take care and hopefully we'll see you on one of these boards soon!! X

Aw sorry to hear that @BabyB8991 😔 congratulations on getting married though and have fun trying again! I agree everything happens for a reason 😊

mrsjkerry · 27/07/2017 08:14

@BabyB8991 this also happened to @MistyBxx and last I heard she was pregnant again with little baby due in February. Hope you're doing ok xx

First morning wee is the best for it. After that your urine becomes more diluted. It looks like pregnant but quite early. Clear blue digital with the words is notorious for needing a lot of hormone to be correct.
Wait and see what the Dr says and go from there.
Good luck!

TheLionQueen1 · 27/07/2017 09:15

It was a crap spam post MrsJ with a link attached that was probably dodgy!

THirdEeye · 27/07/2017 09:34

I've bought a newborn grobag as well. I bought it off eBay, BTWT and under half the price! I think I'll probably by another so that if baby vomits or has poop accident, at least I have another to change into.

I also bought a swaddle/suit thingy from Jojo mamon, which is lighter for when baby is sleeping downstairs as the heat downstairs is far warmer than upstairs.

I'm not buying a Moses basket (recommended by many of my friends) but will be buying one of the below instead.

MistyB good luck with your 12 week scan, can't believe how quickly that has gone! Hope you're doing ok?

ew1990 · 27/07/2017 11:25

@MistyBxx I was thinking about you yesterday and how everything was going, keep us updated on your 12 week scan, x

MSH2010 · 27/07/2017 13:17

Flip..... how am I 30 weeks on Saturday already 🙈

MistyBxx · 27/07/2017 13:25

I'm plodding on!
Nausea has faded a lot now but the weight I've gained is shocking already. I've always been size 10-12 but have smoked since age 15. I quit smoking back in Feb with first bfp but used e-cig ever since, til about 4 weeks ago when in the midst of awful nausea, the smell of it turned on me like a flick of a switch and I've not touched it since! But in that 4 weeks, without any nicotine in my system AT ALL for the first time since my teens, I'm eating alllllll the food 😳 like nothing is suppressing my appetite any more 😩 and coz of the nausea, if I don't eat on demand, I feel so sick. The nausea is fading now but the hunger isn't. I'm bursting out of my clothes and have put on half a stone in a fortnight. It's not good girls and I'm panicking as I'm not even 12w. And if I was craving grapes or carrots it would be one thing but nope, its crisps, salty food, carbs and sugary milkshakes in want in my gob 😩 I'm going to be ginormous 😳
I mentioned it at midwife last week who just said try not to worry and do more gentle exercise but it's really hard when I'm ready for bed by 5pm most days and can barely keep my eyes open in work 😂
I just can't wait til Monday so I can hopefully be told everything is ok with my little sprout in there 💕 trying to keep the past in the past and not let it creep into my headspace but it is hard. And this will be the first scan hubby is coming to with me so praying and hoping all is well xxx

ew1990 · 27/07/2017 13:54

@MistyBxx I feel you, I'm trying to not have my e cig but when I don't I eat everything In the house, nothing satisfies me 😳 I can't believe how fast time is going

TheLionQueen1 · 27/07/2017 14:27

Misty I was exactly the same, I struggled to give up but then got ill when I was about 16 weeks and couldn't smoke so just didn't carry on after, but all I do it eat. I had put almost 2.5 stone on when I last checked about 24 weeks, I dread to look now but just hoping it's not enough to increase my BMI to the point where I have to be moved from MW to consultant led.

I'd love to say the tiredness eases! It did for second trimester but as I've come into my final trimester it's hit me big style again and I can't get through a day without a nap!! I'm sure it's down to not sleeping properly in the night though because I'm up every hour peeing 😂

MistyBxx · 27/07/2017 14:48

Well done @TheLionQueen1 and @ew1990 it is so hard to quit smoking! I did it fine back in Feb coz I went straight onto the ecig and never craved fags, but now I'm on nothing at all, and with the vapour making me feel sick, the smell of smoke is delicious to me 😳 it's an awful thing to say but if I walk past someone smoking, I sniff 😩 whereas if I see someone vaping, I will hold my breath and cross the road lol it's so weird, I've not craved fags for months until now. No intention of giving in to it though. So just have to keep eating for now and pray it stops soon!
And I'm peeing once in the night at the mo. But I've been reliably informed this will increase!x

mrsjkerry · 27/07/2017 15:34

@MistyBxx everything will be fine on Monday xx I've gained 15kg so far and 25 weeks. I dread to think how much more I'll gain in this last stretch 😄 and tbh it's because the nausea never totally went so I do need some form of carbohydrate every hour!!! Kills me.

Bobbiepin · 27/07/2017 17:27

God I wont even weigh myself, terrified of what it might say. Being off work is not making it easier, all I seem to do is eat! Well done on quitting girls, you're doing so well

lydiangel83 · 27/07/2017 17:37

Reckon I've put on 10 kg and I'm 26 wks. Well done to all the non-smokers it must have been hard to give up. I've eaten so much and now just constantly hungry! Definitely glad i don't smoke as it feels like it would be a hard time to quit

ew1990 · 27/07/2017 17:56

Last time I weighed myself i put on a stone and a half. I haven't weighed myself in weeks

MSH2010 · 27/07/2017 19:36

My last weigh in at 28 weeks I'd out on 8.5kg which for twins I was rather pleased with

Missonhartbaby · 27/07/2017 22:05

I haven't weighed myself at all! And the midwife never tells me how much I've gained either. I'm assuming it must be not too little or too much else she would of said something! Haha

lydiangel83 · 28/07/2017 01:21

Midwife hasn't weighed or measured me!?

mrsjkerry · 28/07/2017 02:53

Midwife hasn't weighed or measured me either! It's different in different hospitals I think...
