Hello,

I'm currently 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant and just wondering if there's anyone else in a similar time frame & wanting to share the highs and lows of the journey along with me Smile

Not my first, have a 6 year old DD. What about you @poppylou27?

Are you having any symptoms yet? I've been quite lucky so far, only mild nausea, no vomiting, though had a few days of really severe headaches which I don't remember from the first time round.

Natsku · 06/06/2017 08:00

Spoke too soon, just started vomiting :(

Presh1234 · 06/06/2017 08:51

8 weeks today. Sort of a surprise for us. We were only married a very short time and started trying immediately and first/second time it seems to have happened!!
No sickness as such, just feeling a bit nauseous, but have been poked and prodded constantly due to other issues. All seems ok for now though. Fingers crossed.

cantdothisagain2017 · 06/06/2017 08:54

I'm approx 6+4 (scan fri to confirm) I have hyperemisis and I feel dreadful. Really struggling. Can't wait for this bit to be over so I can enjoy pregnancy

maybebaby88 · 06/06/2017 09:52

Hey I'm 8+1 in a surprise pregnancy too! Felt nauseous since week 5, but luckily not actually thrown up.
cantdothisagain2017 Im sorry you're having such a rough time. Hopefully it wont last too long Flowers

broodynmoody · 06/06/2017 10:01

Im 4 weeks today after my first IVF. Very nervous but excited Grin

PumbletonWakeshaft · 06/06/2017 11:40

Hello! 5 weeks today and very excited. Got a little 18 month old boy who is going to be a big brother. Congratulations everyone. It's so hard not being able to share the news. Havent made my booking appointment yet, didn't like my last midwife at all so hoping for someone else this time.

Fatty12 · 06/06/2017 14:29

Hii everyone! I'm 7 weeks today with dc2. Dc1 is 21 months. I havent really had any symptoms yet, although i do feel really tired/exhausted all the time.

I'm trying to learn some pregnancy yoga this time round! 😆 im not flexible though so not sure how thats going to work hehe

poppylou27 · 06/06/2017 16:42

@Natsku this is my second pregnancy but first ended in miscarriage unfortunately...
I feel nauseous but haven't been sick, boobs heavy, twinges in abdomen and very much heightened sense of smell haha!
I feel different to last time but I feel like symptoms are less so than last time. I'm at EPU tomorrow for early scan but I think it may be a waste of time as don't think they'll be able to see much! I'm starting to worry now as you can imagine with previous mc, whilst I'm at epu I'm hoping to arrange another scan for just after the 8 week mark were the mc ended the first time - think that may ease me a little!
Has anyone else had twinges in their abdomen area around week 5? Wouldn't call it a pain as such just sensations?

Congratulations to all!

Oh yeah my sense of smell is insane!

Fingers crossed for you that this one sticks.

maybebaby88 · 06/06/2017 17:35

fatty12 - I'm attempting to do some yoga aswell, but I'm so tired all the time it's hard to get motivated!
Poppylou - Hope everything works out for you this time Smile I've had twinges in my stomach area a bit, but it was also accompanied by a bit of pain. I think it's just your body stretching and making room for the baby

poppylou27 · 06/06/2017 17:45

That would make sense @maybebaby88
Thank you for that, least I know it's normal lol! Maybe tmi but has anyone else has any like egg-white CM as well? Just been to the toilet and some appeared when I wiped (sorry tmi)

I sound crazy right now but I'm so aware of everything atm due to last time! Fingers crossed it's all just normal!

I'm exactly the same! 5+3. First baby. Happy but terrified! Just hope all is well and it feels weird that I have no appointments until 7th July. Symptoms so far are back ache and sore boobs.

hmyh23 · 06/06/2017 18:01

Oh and bad headaches, which I never normally have. I'm knackered, but I always am so I'm not counting that as a sympton haha.

lilymty · 06/06/2017 18:01

Hello everyone. I'm 5 weeks after 10 years of ttc and 2 mc so we are both scared too get excited. Think the next 7 weeks are going to go very slowly.

Natsku · 06/06/2017 18:43

I have my first midwife appointment next week.

Anyone else having cravings already? I've been eating tacos with pico de gallo and sour cream every day for the last week!

poppylou27 · 06/06/2017 18:48

@lilymty I feel your worry!

Haha @Natsku .. I've not had any yet although I find I am being drawn to vinegars/mint sauce more often than usual ha!

I'm currently 5+4. I had spotting on my first pee Sunday & Monday. Just had another small amount. I have had some mild cramping. Feeling scared, nervous. Not sure if I should call early pregnancy as at 5 weeks I don't think they will be able to confirm anything anyway?

poppylou27 · 06/06/2017 19:14

@juliettetango that's what I thought .. but my doctor referred me anyway knowing I'd be 5weeks 5 days on the date of the scan.. I've had a google around and there's a 50/50 chance they may be able to detect a heartbeat, but if you're on the wrong side of 50 then it could cause more questions than answers, I'd try hold out until 6 weeks if you can and are still worried!

I'll let you know how mine goes tomorrow and if they can see anything.

Thanks, I'll watch out for your post tomorrow @poppylou27

I've got my first midwife appointment on Monday & for some reason they booked my first scan for Thursday.. I think this will be changed as its way too soon x

poppylou27 · 06/06/2017 19:22

@juliettetango if you don't say anything that would be a perfect time for a scan, I'm sure a heartbeat would be detected by then 😊

Hello!
May I join in? :)
I'm 4 weeks, so also very early days.
I have been to the doctors and he has requested a midwife appointment. When should I expect my first one to be? :)
